On my Acer. When trying to start with battery only it shuts off uprubtly in a few seconds. Charging is ok and laptop ok on AC power. Do you think bq chip? 2nd new battery tried.
I sent my laptops to him .all are fixed.THUMPS UP

What is the reason behind this?
What was the fix in the end? Mine only stays on when I press a key constantly.
Did you ever find a fix for it? Mine does the exact same thing yours did where I had to press a random key on my keyboard constantly for it to stay on
@@caleba.6812 Nope, the laptop is still on my to do list. Maybe I will just keep one button pressed and use it in that way.

If you have 2 pieces of ram sticks, switch their places. It worked for me.

ACER is the worst brand.i have 2 dead ACER EXTENSA just after updating the windows 10 now it doesnt want to switch on , then i changed the main board put a new one, it worked a couple of months 2 days ago same problem arose again..
