Thank you! Video helped hugely, nice and clear and easy to follow. I didn't even descale it, just took it out and gave it a wipe down then it's fixed the persistent drips.
This little ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxVoi3B4CB6Oygq1-vo4OTL1M_M5JkrXif tub works perfect in our 6 x 6 shower and is easy to get in and out. Also easy to drain.
there'll be a small cap at the back of the tap if not visible on the top of the tap or within the handle if it unscrews. Download the tap manual from the Bristan website to give you a schematic for the tap. Bristan ceramic disc valves are not that easy to attain from plumbers merchants. If your valve needs replacing, i'd measure the valve and go to ebay and purchase a replacement there.
Just tried this to no avail on my shower mixer which looks identical to the one here, called Prism. I phoned Bristan and they directed me to prise out the little metal tabs on the opposite side of the handles that I just unnecessarily removed. The grub screw is in there. 😤 and the hex Allen key is 2.5mm not 2mm shown here!
