I have a 24 road glide and recently was riding the 24 street glide around for over a week while my road glide was in service. At first, i highly preferred the road glide but the more i road the street glide, the more i got to appreciate it. Bike feels tiny compared to the road glide, its very fun
I own a 24’ Street Glide. I was working at Harley when I bought mine, I had more opportunities than most people to ride both the Street Glide and Road Glide. The Street Glide feels dramatically more nimble to me, everyone’s riding style is different so it’s just a personal choice. The dash and screen are closer to the rider which i personally like.
I’ve got a 24 Street Glide and already took it for loop around the United States. Clocked just 10k miles and the bike handled everything perfectly. From 110 degrees to 35 degrees and snowing it was an amazing ride. I even squeezed in dinner in Rosarito Mexico. Harley hit out of the park with these new bikes
I just bought a blue on black 2024 street glide that I picked over the road glide this morning. I liked that everything was much closer. As far as looks I could have gone either way. Loved them both. But the closer screen and the convenient drawer did me in
I bought a 2024 Street Glide because EVERYBODY else has a Road Glide now. Plus I'm sorry, it just looks MUCH cooler than the '24 Road Glide. Sorry, not sorry.
It’s funny when you say the forgotten Bike nowadays is the street glide. That’s not the forgotten bike. I don’t see any content creators doing anything about the Road King. Now that’s the forgotten Bike.
Maybe bc they got rid of the good road king .. the STANDARD. They sell the more expensive one that doesn’t have any of the stuff that comes with the road king .. Windshield now extra Passing lamps .. now extra Less comfortable seat and suspension comes on the special. I have a road glide but landed up getting a 2008 FLHRCI for a bar hopper. How can someone not love the Road King💯!!! They are so damn comfy and fun to ride and never look out dated. The 1996 looks as good as a 2022 (I think the last year of the standard)
Well it’s because the focus has been on these two models for the past few years. These bikes are the bread and butter of the company. Maybe we’ll see a big change on the road king on the years to come
@@geraldgoodiii6993 And that is why I not only have my 2024 RKS BUT my baby, a 1998 Road King. I get to enjoy the bike twice, as well as bikes, built in two different era’s.
Funny. I grew up in Fair Lawn which is just 7 minutes from that dealership. Live in Seattle now so not stopping by 😊. Got the 24 street glide in white onyx with chrome. I do think the street glide is more nimble which is why I chose it. The sales person looked surprised when I chose it over the road glide. Guess the road glide is more popular, like you said. Thanks for the well produced content.
The black does look nice but everybody has a black bike out there. The bright blue one is my favorite. It's not a color. I pic for a car but I like it for a motorcycle
I want one more just cause everyone else is going with the road glides. I’ve been riding a 2016 dyna low rider only but when I took the street glide for a test ride it felt like they was the same size to me. Very easy to maneuver
For sure, to each their own. The new styling is a step-up. But I still prefer the fixed fairing over the batwing. That Alpine Green is sweet. Ride safe!
Test rode both last week and although I love my ‘20 RG, if I were to buy a ‘24 it would be the Street glide. I hated the tall bars on the new RG, my right arm went numb while riding it and I still don’t care much for the new RG fairing looks
I'm super stoked that finley a influencer is given the Street Glide the proper love that i deserve! The bars is the only thing i have a problem with. I like t-bars or bars and risers but you can't really do that on the new Street Glide, but i'll go for the black or possibly the shark blue. The white is nice too… ✌🏼
I think making the heel shifter as a cost option is my favorite. I’m also especially impressed that they charge $1350 to upgrade to black, but leave chrome levers on the saddlebags. My question as a former customer that bought 6 new Harleys in my life. Hey Harley, do the letters FO mean anything to you?????
Once u try the RG .. there’s no going back. Everything else feels inferior. Granted stuff like Softails and Dyna and Road Kings are fantastic bikes. I have an old road king for a bar hopper. Love that old bike. But that road glide is my desert island bike it does it all!
Wanted to ask how your gas mileage was to and from Milwaukee? With the new stage 2. RG went from 2 headlights to the cyclops look why not have 2 headlights on the Batwing. Just saying!
@@Marvelkid87 I had both a Street Glide and a Low Rider ST. The Street Glide believe it or not, feels more nimble. It’s like the front end is right under you. The steering just felt a little faster. And I have tested both back to back in the twisties. I sold the Street Glide and now I wish I never did. Both great bikes tho.
HD people are so much mainstream, it is wierd. They choose their bike according to trend. In US they buy RG because it is a must have bike, in Europe they buy mostly street glide to have "angry biker look" or Ultra. So you basically do not see any other model.
The SG is forgotten bc it’s inferior to the RG in every way. And to me anyway .. they looked just wrong from the first year they came out .. a batwing with no passing lamps .. looked like stuff missing off of it. Not a huge fan of the Ultra .. but those passing lamps make all the difference in form and function. And the RG feels sooo much lighter on its feet at all speeds and the RG is superior for high speed runs

Indeed 👍🏽 I love me a road glide but this bike just feels right at home for me

Street Glide man, and always will be!

Totally agree. Imo it's the Road King Special and Low Rider ST that are the true rider's bikes of choice.

Love the new Street Glide! One thing that frustrates me is the throttle moves so easily that it is difficult to hold steady in any given position
I want one more just cause everyone else is going with the road glides. I’ve been riding a 2016 dyna low rider only but when I took the street glide for a test ride it felt like they was the same size to me. Very easy to maneuver
💪🏽
Went to Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest last week. Street Glides everywhere. Probably 80-20 Street Glide to Road Glide. Hardly forgotten.
Love the new ride modes! I’m sold!
Same here!

👍🏽 t bar setup would look and feel sick on this bike
Curious to see a riser setup on there with the screen in the center like that
Awesome video I always liked the look of the street glide

I personally love the new Street Glide!
Now you'll be getting a Street Glide!
BCHD... MY PEOPLE! Bat wing for looks, shark for comfort. After the demo ride, I'm ready for team RG.
Once u try the RG .. there’s no going back. Everything else feels inferior.

Silver with black finishes is my favorite this year
Very nice color
I feel like a lot of people really just pick the Road Glide because it's the trend and they want to get the same risers and bars as everyone else.
man I can't decide which one to buy RG or SG. Both look nice
Take a ride on both. Both are great choices
Street Glide or Ultra Limited for me too!
There is a bit much wind noise over 65 miles you can't hear the speakers hardly, I have to change the opper part of the windshield
Can the passing lamp kit be installed on the 24zz.. 👍
I see at least 90% Road Glides over Street Glides on the road.
Wanted to ask how your gas mileage was to and from Milwaukee? With the new stage 2. RG went from 2 headlights to the cyclops look why not have 2 headlights on the Batwing. Just saying!
The Street Glide is the bike for you. 👌🏻

What’s the message about? Do you have traction mode turned off?
dont sleep on the green - i have a deadwood green street glide and literally every person comments on how nice it is
Shark skin color looks funny on a motorcycle. That color only looks good on a ford bronco.
What passenger back rest is that? Trying to find one to match the 2024 stock seat
It’s from the Harley catalog
Does anyone else dislike the new Street Glide fairing? I can’t tell if I’m just being picky.
I want to buy another bike put my credit is a little messed up. Can you work with me?

Still on the Lowrider S?
Yes sir
Road Glide
Looks like with a heavy inventory like that you could get a really good deal
👍🏽
Flex pay is a scam for un savvy buyers
How? I was considering doing it

Looks more like an Indian now
🌈🌈🌈🌈. JK ….. nice bike
I own Low Rider ST and I ride Street Glide and I can tell You that is Low Rider is like Mustang and Street Glide is like Mercedes Limusine:)
