This.. *WOW* this is astonishing, mesmerizing, entrancing it is a true masterpiece at its peak. I'm shocked and amazed by this incredible collaboration of extremely talented, skilled, passionate and disciplined people. To even think about how much effort was needed for this piece to come to live - the composition, the rehearsals, the life that all these musicians have devoted themselves to get to this point. EVERYONE played an important and essential part in this whole work, and it would not have been the same without one of them missing. I'm - my brain is exploding just thinking about how much precision and devotion and dedication is needed for pieces like these to be created, let alone performed in such exactitude. Bravo to each and every one of the participants, it's a whole experience.
Agreed 100%. That said, I can state the same passionate praise of basically all good music. Big symphony works being prime, but I get the same aw with some performances for "just percussion", vocal ensembles etc.

I love this concert...it is very unique but I feel these reverberations from the Sacre du Printemps to pieces by Pina Bausch of Germany (for the relationship aspect)...thank you. Sharing this with friends all over the world.
Man, that has everything going for it - they killed that piece! However, I'm slightly disappointed you didn't have someone drop ping pong balls into a steel pan somewhere in that piece... Great job!

This is awesome, I just had to listen to it after seeing only the end on tumblr. This'll be my to go piece next time some one tells me that classical music is boring. It's full off life and originality and for a contemporary piece it's also really nice to listen too even on the first try (it usually takes me one or two times listening to a contemporary piece to really get in it) but not this time ! This time I was hooked at the first note :D

I was expecting a hoax but it'sreally well constructed minimalism . Akiho know orchestration . If this ever catches on there might be a flurry of related works commisioned and written . Some minimalists like John Adams and Arvo Part find many parameters to increase contrast and increase less similarity or interst difference with all the repetition . Akiho has many intersting ideas . I don't know what critics and those "in the know " are saying . I haven't seen his name mentioned anywhere in the $10 classical mags I read ... We'll see if this is a forward idea for which he will become celebrated !
