Honestly, no matter how much I like professor HB, I don’t agree with his argument about the intellectual declination of the Muslims and I have written numerous times on free thinkers posts; however, I look forward to your research on this and many thanks for your efforts ❤

Dr. Taimur may also comment on Ghamdi perspective that Ummad had the asabia of the people, as that is the norm for any system. Ghamdi is also of the view that khufaie راشدین was some thing ordained by divinity, as having such lije pious people as head of state, during that tribal milieu was not possible unless God willed it.

‘Islamic philosophy is a political philosophy’ says it all. This really is the gist of Islam and all divine instructions, so to establish a fair, just and ‘egalitarian’ society.
This message, has been complicated by the jurists. The simplicity of the message makes it effective and comprehensible for all.
Dr Israr Ahmed used to say the exact same that it is a political philosophy and that scholars corrupted this idea and turned it into a nonpolitical philosophy.
Dr. Sahib,a good initiative to educate people. I would like to add that apart from qaddria and jabbria schools, majority of the Muslim believed in Taqdeer e Mubram and Taqdeer e Muolaq and this view is persistent.

بے شک انسان اپنے فیصلوں میں آزاد ہے ،اللہ اسی آزادی کے بارے حساب کے گا ۔قرآن میں اسی کا ذکر ہے سورہ 18 میں
یہ آزادی محدود ہے، بلکہ ایک وسیع دائرے کے احاطہ میں مقید ہے، اس ارادے کی آذادی کا حقیقی مفہوم مطلق آذادی سے دور ہے

مسلہء تقدیر تقوای اختیار کیئے بغیر سمجھ آنا مشکل ہے۔
تقوای کے لیئے اللّٰہ سبحانہُ وتعالیٰ کی ذات عالی کے یقین کی قوت درکار ہے لہٰذا عقلی فلسفیانہ ٹامک ٹوئیاں مارنے کے بجائے، ایمان و یقین کے بلند مدارج کے حصول کی محنت کو اختیار کرنا ضروری ہے۔ اس کامل یقین کے نور کی برکت سے اللّٰہ سبحانہُ وتعالیٰ قلب کی بند گرہیں کھول کر اپنے علم کے خزانوں سے علم عطا فرما دے گا۔

Dear Prof. Rehman, Thank you for sharing your well-researched series of videos. I've watched the first six and found them quite enlightening. I appreciate the effort you've put into educating us.
I wanted to share a thought about maintaining objectivity when discussing historical records. In the first video, there was a comparison made between communism and Islam while discussing equality. While I understand the intention, it might be beneficial to avoid such comparisons to ensure clarity and accuracy. It is akin to associating the concept of free-will in Islam with free market principles leading to capitalism-a comparison that is completely wrong as well.
Overall, I find your series to be excellent, and I look forward to learning more from your insights.
Mutazilah encouraged the Islamic world to use logic and reasoning. All the great Islamic scientist, Ibn Sena, Ibn Kindi, Ibn Rushd were all following of this Islamic philosophy. Ibn Rushd wrote a book to counter the claim of Al Ghazali in his book "The incoherence of the incoherence" in which he answered and also challenged the philosophy of Al Ghazadi and his followeres. Ibn Rushd advocated rationality over blind belief. This is why European credits Ibn Rushd for Renaissance.

@@nabilmostofa2249 I guess you haven't read The incoherent of the incoherence by Ibn Rushd. In the book, Ibn Rushd answers the questions raised by Al Ghazali and emphasize logic and reasoning. Maybe you should read the book before googling and commenting.

Thanks for your deeply thoughtful Research of Islamic History. Quotes of Imam Hassan Al Basri regarding Philosphy of Qadarriya School of thought is highly authentic and valueable. Guidance comes from ALLAH whereas all humens are responsible for their good or bad acts. Imperialism or kingdoms of the world teaches to people that this is will of God that they are kings & have States whereas people should be obedients to kings only. This Theory is being excersized currently also in several kingdoms as well as Saudi Arabia.
