I also made a review about this game in my other channel. This game really would benefit from a more simple "dodge offset" from Bayonetta (dodging doesn't restart your combo) so you aren't doing the same attacks over and over. Thankfully the game isn't overly long so it doesn't get old, and the flashiness is neat. Bosses are also mostly enjoyable. What I didn't like that much is the multiple systems this game has for progression, they really don't add anything to the game but spending time on menus. I didn't know they were planning a DLC. I thought that the mazes where perfect for a roguelite style game mode. A pity that I have the Switch physical version and it won't have it on it.
Hadn't thought about it, but yeah, a dodge offset mechanic could be pretty nice. The DLC should be coming to the consoles versions too, though I don't know how patches are handled there. Supposedly it will be free too.
