I found this really helpful. Been playing online professionally for about 12 years. Over my last 850k hands I’m running $100,000 under ev. It a bottom 5 percentile sample according to prime dope. I’m an Omaha specialist and play a lot of 5 card omaha as well so variance is to be expected. But this has been on another level. Worst period of my career by far.
Thanks for sharing this Danny, I'm glad the video is helpful. One of the worst bits of advice I heard coming up was "professionals are able to just push through big downswings". That's not true. What is true is that professionals recognise when they're hurting and aren't in the best frame of mind, and put in place strategies to manage take care of themselves.
