Dear Fans --
On August 30, 2024, I released my 28th new Richard Cheese album, titled "Blue No Matter Who."
This album is very special to me -- and it's very different from my previous recordings.
I've taken eleven of my all-time favorite rock songs, by bands like Radiohead, Stone Temple Pilots, The Offspring, R.E.M., The Cure, and Lana Del Rey, and performed them as serious, melancholy, saloon song ballads. It's just soft piano, lush strings, and my voice, in the tradition of a 1950's Frank Sinatra Capitol Records concept album.
I've wanted to record this album for twenty years, and now it's finally here. I sincerely hope you enjoy it. Do me a favor, PLEASE read the liner notes below before you listen -- and it wouldn't hurt to drink a cocktail or two, too.
My "Blue No Matter Who" album WON'T be on streaming platforms until October 25. So, I'm asking my fans who want to hear the album to buy the digital download today. By paying for the album, you're supporting my music and making it possible for me to record more new albums.
