If you're going to record video and audio separately, clap your hands after you have started both recordings so that you can use the audio spikes from each recording to sync up your audio with the video.

Asmr Glow I edit for a University and have run into that problem before. I took a film class and my professor showed us that technique. It's basically the same as when they use the scene clapper in film production.

This has to be without a single doubt the most hilarious unboxing video ever.
My favorite parts were:
- The hand to hand combat between you and the plastic wrap (hats off to the plastic wrap for resisting for so long against a girl and a knife).
- Your goofy faces when trying to explain each mode.
Anyway, you're right about how crisp the sound is when using the Yeti. It has a fabulantastic ability to pick even the smallest subtle details.

ASMR Glow here are the Polar Patterns so you dont need to research XD
Cardioid - has the most sensitivity in the front of the mic, and the least in the back
Supercardioid - have more ability to pick up single sounds in the front of the mic but also pick up in the back.
Omnidirectional - Picks up from all angels
Figure Eight - picks up from the front and back but not the sides.

Blue yeti is one of the best microphones
It took me a year to figure this out, but you need to turn your Windows Microphone volume ALL THE WAY DOWN on this Microphone and use the Gain nob only. If you have the Windows Mic Volume up at all, it's REALLY sensitive to background noise.
No, the Microphone Volume on Windows won't make the Microphone not pick up anything, as long as you use your gain nob you'll still hear yourself.

Quite a few ASMRtists use the Yeti. It's a great mic set up. The 3Dio is also a pretty popular mic set up as well, but you don't need it. There are a few others, but they are more fringe setups. Some channels bounce around between a few mics for certain videos since certain ones are better in certain circumstances.

It's not exactly binaural as the mics aren't far enough from each other to create the same sensation as a 3Dio would do, but it's a very good stereo mic with left/right sensation. Also the quality is great, did some test with the mine I received yesterday (your bro and me probably saw the same sale 8) ) and the sound is very clear (better to have a super quiet room). I look forward to listen to your new videos using this one !

I bought a Blue Yeti a couple of years ago. It's such a great mic. I recommend buying a pop filter for it, if you don't already have one.

Asmr Glow The pop filter? It's so that the mic doesn't pick up on unwanted sounds. Although, now that I think about it, your AMSR videos would probably benefit from you NOT having a pop filter, being that you speak very quietly in them. So, ignore that comment.

Always cut away from yourself! Also, for the q and a, what nationalities are you? And speaking from experience, the omni-directional mode is not exactly binaural however it is the best setting for asmr.
