I've played quite a bit of Forza 5 on my 6700XT at 1440p and I found TAA to be even better looking than 4x MSAA most of the time, maybe some settings didn't apply correctly because it does sound weird, but TAA actually seemed to get rid of the minimal amount of shimmering/jagged edges that MSAA couldn't clean up properly
The 6700XT has been the best purchase I've made in tech maybe ever. With FSR3 and Lossless Scaling frame gen I can max out my 1080p 144hz monitor in any games pretty much.
the game is soo good optimised and looks beautiful. It can literally use all my 8 cores of my 5800H and with my 3070m i have near the performance of this 6700XT. Currently playing fh4 due to his 80% sale and delist end of the year and even on max settings butter smooth experierence and great textures for such an old game. I'm curious how fh6 looks and performs. Gonna be great!
ive got this card running with a 27in 1440p 165hz panel and its amazing. The 165fps is a bit hard to get but i aim for around 100-120 fps and its very doable with this card! I love it especially for what it costs
Settings advice here, Ultra settings are fine, but you have to set Environmental Texture and Geometry to Extreme (as Ultra is bugged). Changing these FPS for me dropped from 122 to 117, but well worth it!
Hey KRYZZP.... have you heard about the Portugal Openworld Project for Assetto Corsa? It's a huge mod being developed by a software company. You don't normally do Assetto Corsa or mods.. Assetto Corsa is really old now. But since you are in Portugal (iirc), I thought you might find it interesting. I have no idea why they chose Portugal.. maybe the vegetation is a but more sparse making it easier to model? idk. Roads look very twisty though.

Hi, new to the channel. I also have this exactly same GPU, but pair with a Ryzen 7 5700X. I also plays FH5 on Extreme preset 1080p. Can you try some tweaks that I did with my gpu? Maybe also benchmark again at those resolutions? Undervolt: from 1200mv to 1107mv Overclock: from 2584 to 2630 I gained around 5% fps in 4 different games, not much gain. But, the temps went down 8ºC at 50% fan speed. This chip is very, VERY efficient. I recommend doing that tweak.
Game runs good on my 6650XT, everything ultra 1080P avrg 160 fps just had to turn down enviroment texture to high due to vram only being 8gb but i didn't even notice any visual change lol. Game also runs perfect locked 45 FPS on my OLED steam deck. mostly low settings but high on car models and honestly looks really good on the oled.

Hey! Not a great card for the price. You're better off saving a bit more and going with a 4070 which is a lot more powerful, or spending less and going with the RX 6800 or 6800XT which are both faster than a 4060Ti.
Avoid spending your money on the 6700XT as it does not perform well. I have personally tested it on a 240Hz 1440p monitor with a Ryzen 7 5800X, and the frame rate only slightly surpasses that of a 6600XT. It is possible that the XFX 6700XT I purchased from Best Buy is performance-limited. In fact, I would advise against investing in the 6000 series altogether. I ended up purchasing three graphics cards. Before saying fuck it and get a 7900xtx. 6700xt/7800xt/7900 gre 6650xt i returned which was as a mistake cause that silicon was just amazing. I figured going to a 6700xt would be like well maybe just slightly better fps where i can hit 160-180fps on monster hunter. at 1440p. It does not, its barely a 1440p card, yea it can run 1440p titles but the frame rates are going to be under 100fps and some games max 150. To give you a reference my time spy score was 12000 with r7 5800x. So ofc naturally I would think 7800xt would be much better. Since its much newer the 6900xt/6950xt. Why having a 7800xt I would imagine it should be able to shit on the 6900xt and keep up with the 6950xt. My god was I wrong, again this was XFX series. Now the 7800xt was much better then 7800xt, I even upgraded to r9 5900x with 6700xt to see if i could get it unlocked. Only fps I saw with that set up was 1-4fps max. So either my cpu was too strong for this card or the card is bottlenecked. Going to the 7800xt with a ryzen 9 5800x I was able to get much better performance. I was hitting 185/191 fps on monster hunter not using any fsr. Where I was getting 140fps with 6700xt. So ofc Im like alright what card can push 240hz monitor. Well, def not the 7900 gre, Another CARD i got cause I was thinking alright its a 7900 and I got it for a steal. Literal steal most people paid 550 when it came out I paid $250. Cause I wanted to get a 7900xt or 7900xtx, the store didnt have it, and I said I could just order it from amazon, the store literally was like we can do 350, and with a 100 gift card I had, I was able to get it for 250. So the 7900 gre is much better then the 7800xt, okay let me stop lying.... dude it dont matter what 7800xt card brand u got xfx/saphire/ 7900 gre saphire/hell hound/xfx etc. The best decision to make when purchasing an AMD graphics card is to opt for the 7900XTX. If you are unable to afford the 7900XTX, it is recommended to go for the 7900XT instead of wasting money on any of the RX 6000 series. The 6700XT received an F- rating, the 7800XT a D-, and the 7900 gre a D-. The 7900XTX outperforms the 7900gre and 7800 XT by a significant margin in all games, with a difference of 60-100 fps against the 7900 gre and 65-110 fps against the 7800xt. In comparison to the 6700XT, the 7900XTX offers a difference of 80-130 fps. To give you persepective Monster hunter world Online hd pack downloaded 6700xt overclocked - 1440p - 110-150fps/ [175 with fsr] 7800xt overclocked - 1440p - 180-191 fps [205-210 with fsr3] 7900 gre overclocked 1440p - 184-195 fps [205-213 with fsr3] - Yes the gre is only 3-12fps MAX faster then an over clocked 7800xt. But cost 100 dollars more. 7900xtx not overclocked - 1440p- 240fps - 240fps [fsr wasn't used] - I HIT THE ENGINE CAP at 240 fps at 1440p with no overclock/no rage mode/ [my monitor is only 1440p] Even if I had a 4k gaming monitor this card would easily smoke the shit out of all of them. Therefore, you might be considering getting a 7900xt, but why would you not spend an extra 200 dollars to achieve significantly higher fps in almost any game? The 7900xt has a 20-40fps difference compared to the 7900xtx, without using a 7800x3d or 14000ks. The 7800x3d test demonstrates that the 7900xtx outperforms the 7900xt by 23-55fps. While there are some games where it only surpasses by 20fps, in the majority of over 30-40 games, I have observed an average of 40-50fps in the test bench. If you have a 1440p high refresh monitor with 240-360hz, then you should opt for the 7900xtx and not look back. I have the hell hound version, since the saphire pulse version is stupidly 1100-1200 dollars, at the price range I might as well spend 500 more and get a 4090 for the best gpu as of now. If you need amd graphics card look at 7900xtx at worse you need to budget and save 7900xt. Do NOT waste money on 7800xt/7900gre/ and anything lower im not even going to say 7700/6950xt anything under 7900xt from amd is trash. And THAT IS FACTS. Also another trap they put you in that you dont understand is the 7900xtx HAS 2 DIFFERENT VERSIONS, none of these idiot reviewers talk about it hell not even linus tech tips where I follow and jayz2cents. Credit to jay and linus they both said there is new vendor units that may have 2 [8 pin] and some extreme overclock brands may be 3 later on. The 7900xtx Hell hound has 2 different versions - 1 version has 2 8 pin connectors and the other hell hound has 3- 8 pin connection, The 3 [8 pin] version IS WHAT YOU WANT. I ended up getting the 7900xtx 2 pin version hell hound with blue fans. It's not bad by all means I can hit 3050-3100mhz. But if you get the 3 pin version and good silicon luck, you can hit 3,150-3,200mhz overclock and without sacrificing vram speeds. I dont like the XFX version of any graphics cards any more except the 6650xt black edition which just a sexy ass upgrade from a rx580 8gig black edition. So naturally I thought 6700xt must be even better. And NO, if you get the xfx version of 7900xtx they have a waste of money version that uses magnetic fans but same performance as the regular 7900xtx. But with a price tag of a another 90 dollars. Also if im not mistaken xfx has 2 [8 pin connection one]. 1. I intend to return the 7900XTX as I am still within the 30-day warranty period. I have had it for two weeks. I acquired it at a remarkable price from Newegg, although it was a freshly refurbished unit. It is important to note that this was a review graphics card, and it did not come with the original box or manual, which is disappointing since it likely should have included a GPU sag kit. According to HWMonitor, this GPU has recorded less than 20 hours of usage, indicating that it was essentially a review sample that someone purchased and subsequently returned. I believe Newegg could have sold it for the full price of $900. There are no fan noises or whines, even when overclocked for playing Killing Floor, which was unnecessary, yet the card remains silent. Upon inspection, the graphics and thermal compound appear to be in excellent condition, and the fans are functioning well. If you're in need of a card to last you until the new RX 8000 series is released, opt for a budget-friendly RX 580/6650XT [black]. Start saving up for the top two GPUs in the 8000 series, or whatever they end up being called. There are rumors circulating about a potential 7950XTX, which sounds intriguing, but it could also be a new generation chip. Reports suggest that AMD is concentrating on mid-range GPUs, so they might still be lagging behind when it comes to high-end GPUs like the 4090. If the 5090 is released, they may introduce something like the 8900XTX/8950XTX if they are bold enough to compete.

Truthfully 7900xt/7900xtx is much better card for amd at the time being. With that being said I havent tried saphire nitro + 7900xtx so I cant tell you which card is the best but the 7900xtx/7900xt you can't go wrong. Where buying anything less then that you are going to be hating it and longetivity wise you will probably replace your graphics card wthin 2 years. Where 7900xtx has been out for a bit, but what I play and interested in, this card will last another 3-4 years before I can even think of a game that would make it struggle. last sentence; If I was a betting man the new gpu market for Amd you might be able to squeeze slight better performance with new gen gpus, but I remember them saying that they are focusing on mid range. So I wouldn't hold my breathe on the top of the line 8000 series amd being impressive and at most beats the 7900xtx by 10%. With a high premium and not worth it. Though when the new 5000 series nvidea comes out there might be a demon 5090 or 5090 ti. If they want to shit on amd, just make a card 20-30% faster then a maxed tuned 4090 and amd will just die. I would always prioritize frames in fast moving games like racing. 60 fps gives me headache.

I ended up purchasing three graphics cards. Before saying fuck it and get a 7900xtx. 6700xt/7800xt/7900 gre
6650xt i returned which was as a mistake cause that silicon was just amazing. I figured going to a 6700xt would be like well maybe just slightly better fps where i can hit 160-180fps on monster hunter. at 1440p. It does not, its barely a 1440p card, yea it can run 1440p titles but the frame rates are going to be under 100fps and some games max 150. To give you a reference my time spy score was 12000 with r7 5800x. So ofc naturally I would think 7800xt would be much better. Since its much newer the 6900xt/6950xt. Why having a 7800xt I would imagine it should be able to shit on the 6900xt and keep up with the 6950xt. My god was I wrong, again this was XFX series. Now the 7800xt was much better then 7800xt, I even upgraded to r9 5900x with 6700xt to see if i could get it unlocked. Only fps I saw with that set up was 1-4fps max. So either my cpu was too strong for this card or the card is bottlenecked. Going to the 7800xt with a ryzen 9 5800x I was able to get much better performance. I was hitting 185/191 fps on monster hunter not using any fsr. Where I was getting 140fps with 6700xt. So ofc Im like alright what card can push 240hz monitor. Well, def not the 7900 gre, Another CARD i got cause I was thinking alright its a 7900 and I got it for a steal. Literal steal most people paid 550 when it came out I paid $250. Cause I wanted to get a 7900xt or 7900xtx, the store didnt have it, and I said I could just order it from amazon, the store literally was like we can do 350, and with a 100 gift card I had, I was able to get it for 250. So the 7900 gre is much better then the 7800xt, okay let me stop lying.... dude it dont matter what 7800xt card brand u got xfx/saphire/ 7900 gre saphire/hell hound/xfx etc. The best decision to make when purchasing an AMD graphics card is to opt for the 7900XTX. If you are unable to afford the 7900XTX, it is recommended to go for the 7900XT instead of wasting money on any of the RX 6000 series. The 6700XT received an F- rating, the 7800XT a D-, and the 7900 gre a D-. The 7900XTX outperforms the 7900gre and 7800 XT by a significant margin in all games, with a difference of 60-100 fps against the 7900 gre and 65-110 fps against the 7800xt. In comparison to the 6700XT, the 7900XTX offers a difference of 80-130 fps.
To give you persepective Monster hunter world Online hd pack downloaded
6700xt overclocked - 1440p - 110-150fps/ [175 with fsr]
7800xt overclocked - 1440p - 180-191 fps [205-210 with fsr3]
7900 gre overclocked 1440p - 184-195 fps [205-213 with fsr3] - Yes the gre is only 3-12fps MAX faster then an over clocked 7800xt. But cost 100 dollars more.
7900xtx not overclocked - 1440p- 240fps - 240fps [fsr wasn't used] - I HIT THE ENGINE CAP at 240 fps at 1440p with no overclock/no rage mode/ [my monitor is only 1440p]
Even if I had a 4k gaming monitor this card would easily smoke the shit out of all of them.
Therefore, you might be considering getting a 7900xt, but why would you not spend an extra 200 dollars to achieve significantly higher fps in almost any game? The 7900xt has a 20-40fps difference compared to the 7900xtx, without using a 7800x3d or 14000ks. The 7800x3d test demonstrates that the 7900xtx outperforms the 7900xt by 23-55fps. While there are some games where it only surpasses by 20fps, in the majority of over 30-40 games, I have observed an average of 40-50fps in the test bench. If you have a 1440p high refresh monitor with 240-360hz, then you should opt for the 7900xtx and not look back.
I have the hell hound version, since the saphire pulse version is stupidly 1100-1200 dollars, at the price range I might as well spend 500 more and get a 4090 for the best gpu as of now.
If you need amd graphics card look at 7900xtx
at worse you need to budget and save 7900xt. Do NOT waste money on 7800xt/7900gre/ and anything lower im not even going to say 7700/6950xt anything under 7900xt from amd is trash. And THAT IS FACTS.
Also another trap they put you in that you dont understand is the 7900xtx HAS 2 DIFFERENT VERSIONS, none of these idiot reviewers talk about it hell not even linus tech tips where I follow and jayz2cents. Credit to jay and linus they both said there is new vendor units that may have 2 [8 pin] and some extreme overclock brands may be 3 later on.
The 7900xtx Hell hound has 2 different versions - 1 version has 2 8 pin connectors and the other hell hound has 3- 8 pin connection, The 3 [8 pin] version IS WHAT YOU WANT. I ended up getting the 7900xtx 2 pin version hell hound with blue fans. It's not bad by all means I can hit 3050-3100mhz. But if you get the 3 pin version and good silicon luck, you can hit 3,150-3,200mhz overclock and without sacrificing vram speeds.
I dont like the XFX version of any graphics cards any more except the 6650xt black edition which just a sexy ass upgrade from a rx580 8gig black edition. So naturally I thought 6700xt must be even better. And NO, if you get the xfx version of 7900xtx they have a waste of money version that uses magnetic fans but same performance as the regular 7900xtx. But with a price tag of a another 90 dollars. Also if im not mistaken xfx has 2 [8 pin connection one].

There are rumors circulating about a potential 7950XTX, which sounds intriguing, but it could also be a new generation chip. Reports suggest that AMD is concentrating on mid-range GPUs, so they might still be lagging behind when it comes to high-end GPUs like the 4090. If the 5090 is released, they may introduce something like the 8900XTX/8950XTX if they are bold enough to compete.

Long RANT but this should help any one about to buy a graphics card, Alot of these reviewers are biased and trying to get sponsors and appeal to them. Truthfully 7900xt/7900xtx is much better card for amd at the time being. With that being said I havent tried saphire nitro + 7900xtx so I cant tell you which card is the best but the 7900xtx/7900xt you can't go wrong. Where buying anything less then that you are going to be hating it and longetivity wise you will probably replace your graphics card wthin 2 years. Where 7900xtx has been out for a bit, but what I play and interested in, this card will last another 3-4 years before I can even think of a game that would make it struggle.
last sentence; If I was a betting man the new gpu market for Amd you might be able to squeeze slight better performance with new gen gpus, but I remember them saying that they are focusing on mid range. So I wouldn't hold my breathe on the top of the line 8000 series amd being impressive and at most beats the 7900xtx by 10%. With a high premium and not worth it. Though when the new 5000 series nvidea comes out there might be a demon 5090 or 5090 ti. If they want to shit on amd, just make a card 20-30% faster then a maxed tuned 4090 and amd will just die.
