I watched your Big Boost kit breakdown video where you went through the cost of everything needed and i didnt add it all up but it seemed around 10K. My question is why is n55 stuff so expensive? I have n54 and make similar power and only spent about 3k for all the upgraded turbo stuff, and thats with RB turbos. Anyway love the content and you definitely got my sub!
First off thank you for the support. I wish I knew why N55 was so expensive but I think it’s because the N 54 has more parts and the older platform but to be honest I’m not sure. It also depends on what all you use parts wise too
Hey nice video. Love the detail you give. Question for you about how much have u spent on the complete boost kit. I have a 2015 335i xdrive with a stage 2 MHD full bolt on. Trying to see what's next. Would like to get to 500hp at the wheel. Like ur built and it looks very reliable to drive and still be fun. Great advice like always
Hey thanks! So far I have quite a bit more than I’d like in it lol. So for 500 whp I’d do a hpfp with stage 2 from pure which would cost you around 5k without labor... my motor has about 12k in it so far
@@ivanfider1631 no worries bro, it’s a high pressure fuel pump, might need a low pressure fuel pump as well for proper fueling. Ps2 is probably my half overall price than a big turbo due to not needing a bunch of supporting mods
You still sell the fabricated u-pipes? I just ordered the u-pipe kit from BB about 2 weeks ago and I think he fixed it because it now comes with a 50mm BOV so assuming he fixed the boost leak issues but if not are yours still available if the one I ordered leaks a bunch?
They sell the same pipe with a 50mm bov it does not fix anything, it’s a cast pipe that had a bottle neck in it and that’s the issue not the bov itself. I am currently not making them but I think my fabricator is going to start again at some point

@@kevinkohn3918 BB is a joke they lie daily... I’ve been telling people left and right to go to other sources rather to use big boost. Your headaches have just begun just wait till you try to install it and then start using it. It’s a nightmare for everyone that I know that has one for the first 2-3 months
@@BOO5Tchannel yeah I went with the for the price/power possibilities and I hear a lot of mixed reviews some good some bad. If he was just honest and told me it’s gonna be 6-8 weeks that’s fine but don’t keep telling me your about to ship it out and not do it. Having it professionally installed and hoping they don’t run into any issues. I’ve got all the supporting mods/fueling so hoping for not too many headaches.

Sorry, new to the BMW 🌎, had a mustang gt that had a supercharger and lots more before, so what's a hpfp.

what's that solenoid valve that you are using ? i ran big boost over a year time to upgrade that. also just plugs into stock connector ? thanks
You will have to contact big boost for that info you need a type they use my kit is different

Where did you plug the DV harness Chris since now you're using a Tial BOV?
So we used the same dv connection on new solenoid that is the new “brains” so dv connection is still fired electronically
