Great video! Guessing you didn't opt for BMW Nav to work as you lack ATM emulator / ATM itself or does BMW Nav still work? Btw for people asking blue cable is GPS and green cable is for the TCB module which is basically the predecessor to the ATM module which an HW3.1 and up Evo would require as that's how they get GPS location.
My 2018 340 came with that system. It's nice, although to be honest I rarely ever use the touch screen. The new redesigned Gxx interiors have the touch screen in a more convenient location IMO.

They just sit back there, certain adding like navigation would have a spot for it... I don’t use bmw nav I use Waze and Maps personally. Remotebimmer has options and addons you can choose from

I have 2014 F33 MSport. Did you loose your original factory navigation with this upgrade? I know carplay has multiple navigation apps, but was just wondering (I like the navigation turn by turn directions in my HUD or will carplay do the same). Also, does carplay music songs etc. show up in HUD like factory stations/SiriusXM? What else did you loose due to the upgrade (i.e. steering wheel controls, voice commands, log press siri commands/messaging)?
I didn’t have navigation but you should keep and retain all factory setting get a hold of the seller and check with them but you will need it coded for your vin through seller or a coder

My main reason for doing the upgrade is because what came with the vehicle is just horrible as far as telling it to call someone or trying to navigate to a destination quickly. I didn’t want to do the nav, he gives you the option for more $ but I would never use it… I use Waze or Apple Maps which are much more modern to me

Nice! Yes the touch is a bit far from the driver but I use it for some functions still.
