    ▬▬▬▬▬▬ GAME INFORMATION ▬▬▬▬▬▬
    From Wikipedia: "Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy in North America) is a cinematic interactive drama action-adventure video game developed by Quantic Dream and published by Atari for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The director's cut and uncut versions were later released for Microsoft Windows. Fahrenheit has sold over 700,000 units worldwide since it was released in September 2005 and has won several awards. A remastered version was released by Aspyr Media on January 2015 for Windows, Linux, OS X and iOS entitled Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered.
    In this paranormal thriller, New York City is stunned by a series of mysterious murders that follow the same pattern: ordinary people become possessed and kill absolute strangers in public. The main characters of the story must uncover the supernatural forces behind these crimes.
    Fahrenheit was a breakthrough in interactive narrative, teetering between the worlds of cinema and gaming while also embracing them, carving its own unique genre in the entertainment landscape.
    With a rich multilayered narrative, innovative presentation, and a chilling musical score by famed Hollywood composer Angelo Badalementi, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered serves as the definitive version of the supernatural murder mystery and (re)introduces the groundbreaking title to old and new fans alike.
    Key Features
    Interactive Drama - An intuitive control scheme and spectacular split-screen presentation complement the game’s mysterious noir narrative.
    Extensive Replayability - With branching dialog and multiple endings, each playthrough of the game yields a different outcome.
    Multiple Characters - Take control of the narrative through four different playable characters, each illuminating a different perspective of the story.
    Fully Voiced Script - Every line from the extensive script is voiced by professional actors in English, French, German, and Spanish. Voice files may require free in-game download.
    Cinematic Score - Fahrenheit features a fully orchestrated score composed by Angelo Badalamenti, famous for his extensive work with director David Lynch.
    Uncut version of the game - Unlike the original North American release, Remastered contains all of the game’s original scenes, uncensored and uncut.
    Key Upgrades
    High-definition Graphics - All of the in-game textures have been meticulously recreated in HD for mobile and desktop.
    Widescreen Support - A true widescreen (not cropped) view strengthens the game’s cinematic qualities while also providing players with a better sense of their surroundings.
    Elegant Touch Controls - An intuitive control scheme has been implemented that works on both phone and tablets, and brings the player closer to the narrative.
    Full Controller Support -Support for MFi hardware controllers on iOS, as well as various popular controllers for desktop. See system requirements for full list of supported controllers.
    Live Graphics Comparison - Players can switch between the updated visuals and the original art assets with the touch of a button.

    my only problem with this game's story plot is how does he get Carla fall in love with him just so sudden. Carla personality would be that quick and soft about relationship. she's a cop and a though one.

    Those reaction scenes when Carla interviews the "criminal" himself are interesting - it took me some time to realise you have to get them wrong on purpose to ignore the bug things.

      Always found that weird that game rewards you for not doing anything. Doesn't feel in line at all with the rest and i feel like "not moving despite having bugs falling on you" would be an effort requiring QTE.

    So, now we know, Canada is to blame for all the weather issues in Fahrenheit! :P
    I think the piece of evidence that's always there would be the Shakespeare book with the bank paper inside btw.
    Still amazed by your patience to play and replay all those games over and over. I just couldn't do that myself.

      @Welonz  9 років тому +3

      Stahlwollvieh Hm, the bank paper that the small piece was torn from was something that Carla could have not picked up at Lucas' office though, so I'm not sure. I'm not THAT patient, it's not like I played through the entire game again, I just selected stuff from the chapter list xD (If I did play through I would make Lucas go through the metro and we'd know for sure what that piece of evidence is!)

      @Stahlwollvieh 9 років тому

      Materwelonz Oh you meant at the office specifically... my bad, that certainly changes things.
      Ok, that makes things a lot more manageable then. Still somewhat troublesome, but doable.^^
      Btw I have a very random question for you if you don't mind: Have you played any games of the Elder Scrolls series? Are you at all interested in such games?
      Since you don't seem to mind somewhat older and "graphically impaired" games I would like to highly recommend TES III: Morrowind.
      Next to my childhood Legend of Zelda games that one is at the very top of my all time favourites list.

      Stahlwollvieh I've only ever played Skyrim. I used to play it quite a bit until I realized it was draugrs after draugrs and then I just quit cold turkey.. never did finish the main quest lol. In general I enjoy Bethesda RPGs, but they're a bit stressful though because I feel like I'll never be able to finish all the quests.
      I'm pretty sure I have copies of both Morrowind and Oblivion lying around somewhere, and I've heard very good things about them both! It's on my long list of must-play games (this comment bumped its position up XD)

    • @Stahlwollvieh
      @Stahlwollvieh 9 років тому

      Materwelonz Good.^^
      I actually also did not finish Skyrim when I first had a go at it, for pretty much the same reason: Got tired of hacking my way through draugr caves and dwemer ruins.
      Recently however I've had quite a bit of internet trouble, so I reinstalled and more or less accidentally finished the main quest 2 days ago. Was shorter than expected actually.
      Oblivion I wouldn't recommend as much, it's not horrible but simply quite bland. By far the weakest link in the series, although the "Shivering Isles" expansion was absolutely awesome (you get to work for Sheogorath, the daedric prince of madness, in his own realm... batshit crazy and a lot of fun).
      Now Morrowind is an entirely different cup of tea. I won't claim that there are no issues with it, the non-magical combat system particularly could use some work.
      Then again, you won't spend any time chasing after (imo) immersion breaking arrows in Morrowind. The paths to your target will be described verbally and written down in your journal.
      Spells can fail if your skill is not high enough, while still costing you magicka, you get way more options in terms of weapons, enchantments and spells, many more parts of clothing and armor that you can mix and match and so forth.
      And most importantly: You can kill whoever the f*** you want. Even people that are absolutely crucial for the main quest, if you so wish. In later games (TES IV & V, also Fallout 3 and so on) it has been dumbed down a bit by making such characters immortal.
      Oh yeah, and trying to rank up through multiple guilds is a lot more challenging, since some quests will actually interfer with other guilds. They usually don't like having their members killed and such.
      tl,dr: Skyrim main quest is pretty short; Oblivion not that great; and I'm a Morrowind fanboy :P

      If you two are still interested in it, the only piece of evidence that you'll always have is Lucas' photo, but it doesn't need a second hint. Even if you collected all possible evidence, showing the photo to a cop witness turns out to be enough to perform an arrest. Makes sense if you ask me ! ^^
