You have to listen through 🎧 to make a better impression. Sony sounds better in all music samples but especially in vocals. It's more open sounding and better bass quality. But from where I live Sony costs twice as much as the JBL. I don't think Sony sounds twice as good though.

@@USMC-es4yy nope low frequencies like 60-100hz and mids like 400hz to 1khz are gone in jbl and boosting trable 4khz-16khz like forcefully increasing loudness which causes faded out the sweetness of singer’s voice and you are telling sound clarity is important. Clarity of mids and low frequencies are important more than high frequencies where Sony is doing to balanced it and close to natural. Sharpness is good but over sharpening is hurting ears and long term listening. Both these speakers are not audiophile quality but Sony here trying to balancing between all of the frequencies where jbl just pushing high frequencies to increase loudness.

Whose mistake? Are you going to block one side of JBL by keeping it 90° tilted compared to the current direction. Or are you going to keep the Sony free rolling on the rim of the cylinder.
I just bought JBL go 3 rather than Sony. Because I though JBL go 3 more portable and easier to bring it everywhere. You can also put it on small handbag laptop bag.
Hello!! I love your content and keep going!! In germany JBL GO 3 price is 33 euro and Sony SRS XB12 price is 29 euro so we can say that price is same for me. So, What is your suggestion? I will use the speaker to listen online lecture (and movie )so it should be clear and quality sound. Im living in dormitory enviroment so probably I will not be able to max sound. Go 3 is the most convenient speaker to do almost any activity because it’s so light. After owning so many speakers, it’s my daily go to speaker. Only thing is that sometimes sand gets in the charging port because it’s exposed. Beach bum daily bike rides skate sessions. This is the speaker

Listening to the video, I preferred Sony's tonal balance. Realistically, I'd likely hate it. Supposedly, there's a Go 3 on its way; no idea what color they sent. Just hope it's not pink. Maybe in 10 days or so I should have an opinion as to its sound. The JBL is cute little thing. Wish they'd kept the classic JBL badge.
I have 2 of the xb12, they are absolutely badass, you'd surprised how much bass the xb12 outputs at 100% volume, I should also mention that the xb12 makes more bass when you place it on a hard surface like a wooden table. Edit: I should mention that the bass is basically non existent at lower volumes, you can fix that with an equalizer or just turn the volume up :)
@@JustinMurray170fin Had a problem with it recently, it suffered a one meter drop, after that it made rattling noise, had to take it apart to find the issue, the issue was that the glue holding the battery in place loosened, but it was an easy enough fix, just stick it back in place. Other than that, still sounds as good as day one.

You got the label and the picture mixed up. Yes JBL is loud but at high volume, it sounds like a glass breaking. XB12's sound quality at high volume remains clear but not as loud.

I like srs xb12, because it's more balanced and soft whether it sounds high or low, however depends on ear taste and room space, maybe.
I feel like the jbl adds more color to the sound and a more wide feeling to the ears while the Sony idk it feels like it just does its job.

I have the whole jbl go lineup and I love the sound quality of jbl speakers in general
JBL's portable audio speakers have low sound quality. You only buy them if you're only interested in bass.
