    @faryanblender8946 Рік тому

    For all those who got the same issue: When I scale the domain like here 2:11 there is a big smoke in the middle of the domain. You can easily solve that: Select Smoke Domain --> Physics Properties --> Increasing the "Resolution Division". Its better to bake it after you did that because the performance will slow down

    • @faryanblender8946
      @faryanblender8946 Рік тому

      You can increase the density by going into shading mode and increase it there. If you dont find "bake" option, go to Object --> Animation --> Bake Action.

      The way I do this is by using the 'smoke color' attribute in the smoke emitter physics tab, instead of editing the domain color. Now by default it doesn't listen to this (something with it being heavy on the cpu, so being disabled by default). You need to go in the shader editor for the domain, and you'll see a box titled 'color attribute', which should be empty. Type in 'color'.
      Now the smoke color should match the color set for each smoke emitter seperately, in its 'physics' tab under 'smoke color'. What's really cool about this is that this value can be animated. So 1 ball can start out emitting green smoke, and gradually have its color fade to blue.
      Hope this helps! It worked for me.

      @@gower1973 I'm no expert I'm sorry :( all I know is that this method works for me, both in solid and in render view.
      I'll just try to tell you my exact steps and hope it helps you
      *like the video, make multiple objects and apply quick smoke
      *remove all domains, except for one
      *resize the domain so it covers all objects
      *enter the shader editor for the domain, and type 'color' (just the word, without the quotation marks) in the field that says 'color attribute'
      *go to the physics settings for your emitters (objects) and change the 'smoke color' color
      Leave everything else as it is. I just tested this exact method, and it works for me in both cycles and evee, and both in solid and render view

      It will butcher the smoke. Don't use the denoiser that comes with Blender for ANYTHING (don't know yet whether their new denoiser node is any good). Use aftermarket solutions, they're usually way better. BlenderGuru mentioned some of them in his recent video I believe.

      I know all the shortcuts, I avoid using them to make the tutorials easier. Those who know the shortcuts will use them anyway.

    r, z, 90, and my sphere rotates in spot on top of the first sphere. I tried every different parenting option. I've been trying to learn Blender for six months now and I've successfully made it through one tutorial which was an epic moment for me but that was 1/100. I think it's time for me to throw in the cloth simulated towel :/

    it didnt add the smoke physics to the physics tab and the y axis is going like this:

    So after at least 2 hours of baking the simulation shows no smoke until the end, hate this

      Always do a low resolution first to see if it works.

      Olav3D Tutorials not too sure what did happen but the I baked it, then after that I wasn’t able to see the smoke on the playback, only the spinning balls, until the final frames. Sorted now and rendering, thank you for helping me understand smoke more

      @@Olav3D the physics tab in Blender 2.82 was re-designed and i can't find density settings and so on. Quick smoke, which generally should work without any adjustments dosn't work either.

    Im kinda highly disappointed now. I spent 13 hours. 13 whole hours rendering this not even 30 second clip of 250 frames. That I cant watch. There is no file I can open and watch a little video of. It saved every single frame to my desktop as an image. I manually had to move into a folder. I can only watch the sample/demo of this animation in viewport shading solid mode. Not even in rendered mode, because I have to press play, then let it get to a frame, then pause it to show the rendered frame. Even though I spent 13 hours rendering this. I cant watch the rendered viewport shading. This only gave me a feeling of discouragement, and that my time was 100% wasted. Like Wtf. Is it supposed to be this way? That I cant watch the animation that I rendered out for 13 hours?

      this is what you chose to render it out as. Generally in blender you should render it out as individual images because it allows you to pause and resume from the same spot very easily.
      To make these frames into a video you can watch it is very easy, open up blender and click file->new->video editing. In the timeline click on add->image/sequence. select all of your images you rendered out (hold shift to select multiple), and add them to your timeline. Then play through it, if it is backwards, select your image sequence and on the right in the strip tab, find adjust->video->reverse frames, and check it on.
      Then edit your render settings from the output tab (should be in the top right, looks like a printer), when you're done, press ctrl-f12, or go to render->render animation.
      You could also choose to render as an avi-jpeg in the output settings if it's just a short render in the first place, skipping this whole thing.
      I hope this helps!
