  • Sadie and her husband, Christian Huff, dive headfirst into how Christian recovered from an unhealthy relationship with fitness and learned to reject negativity. Sadie warns against unhealthy comparisons to other versions of ourselves, and the Huffs talk about how to get back on track with a healthy lifestyle, the lost art of commitment, ways to avoid toxic self-obsession, Christian's new show, "The 4:8 Men Podcast," and how often Sadie says "Whoa, that's good!" You can find joy and fulfillment wherever you are in your journey. Happy New Year! XO, Sadie Rob Huff

I was 182lbs last year and was going to divorce, it was hard physically and emotionally. I quit alcohol, and porn then got back to healthy diet and gym. The highlight was went to a new church and I like it. God helps me from getting back to my purpose in life. Now I am 166lbs, no alcohol and porn.

That was a huge game changer in my fitness journey. Listening to a sermon during my morning workouts has been a huge part of my daily prayer life, and then it puts me in such a great mood to take on the day with God, and change of perspective of doing it for health to carry on my mission in life and not the aesthetic. Amazing word! ☺️

such an amazing metaphor of how God wants us to view everything we do in life. Of course, anything we can do can be an act out of vanity and pride. But making our spiritual growth, our spiritual relationship with God, first in our lives is always most and eternally satisfying. All of these world sized hobbies and achievements are nothing in comparison to the God sized hole in our hearts that can only be filled by the Creator!

Y’all are awesome. I am a christ-centered 18 yr old who does bodybuilding. I have been through a similar season as Christian putting my identity in your physique and compliments and I have come to the personal conclusion that there is nothing wrong with training for aesthetic as long as you’re doing for yourself (and wife ofc haha) and balancing out with being more modest. Looking great and being strong at the same time is a good goal. Obv, your identity should not be your physique, you should do it in a sustainable and healthy way, And should be viewed as something you just enjoy working on... Christ is still WHO you are. Ps. I love listening to worship & sermons while I lift as well!

Remember that diving into the heart of God never gets boring. It's amazing to do so, and the amount of fullness and loveliness in the pursuit of His heart are absolutely crazy to me. Don't let what secular society says about God convince you of anything different, since they deal in worldly affairs, while you know His love :)

This was the lesson that the Lord taught me, which is to always put God first and to work out for the right intentions. Meaning to work out for health and to just be strong but not to work out for aesthetics. Praise the Lord for healing my pain and teaching me a lesson. ✝️❤️🙏💪

Great episode! Haha I'm actually listening to this while working out right now! Loved Christian's advice! That's what I typically do not only with working out. I pair something I don't want to do with something I enjoy doing. For example when it comes time to wash the dishes, I usually don't want to do that lol. So I put on a podcast, audiobook, sermon, worship music, etc and have that playing while I wash the dishes.
It really helps and I get to accomplish what needs to be done! 😁

Only the title, I haven't watched the video.
Of course we need to check why we acted like that in past! And learn. We can be new version of ourselves only by walking trought the past. It means we need to know why, when and how and what next. We need to talk and listen, learn. Pray, so we can learn. We need to compare ourselvea in a right way. Only, when it is time to move on we can move on. Then we build on the rock. Otherwise we build on a sand and the house will be destroyed. We need to tale care of ourselves, let the wounds be healed by acts and pray. We need to see what happened and why and what is God's will. We need to make the past clear, not stay there, but deal with it, so we can forget! Blessings!

That's great that they have $530,000 subs almost to the 1 million that's great but it makes me feel like people just do this for sponsoring for money for profit . I believe in what she says for the most part she's been practicing her face and she was very small if you catch her video on UA-cam when she was like five on the dining room table in front of her mom Korey . And nothing that could have say I don't want to be like that because that's not Christian for real but I feel like some of these people on UA-cam or Instagram just do it for fame for subs and following . It's kind of scary because we should be following Jesus and not people.

It’s a legit fear- some Christians, unfortunately, love a stage. But be careful not to project your fears of that, and your ideals of what following Jesus looks like to you, onto them. They have their own relationship with Jesus that they’re accountable for, and God very well may give them a platform. If you are uncomfortable with their approach, it may be wise to unfollow them.
