    On that thing concerning good performance to avoid embarrassment...
    I strongly believe that a lot of that stems from parents, siblings or friends who say things like... you don't want to mess up in front of everyone. Or... you better work hard so you don't look like an idiot.
    Little things like that. It plants seeds. So we have to be really careful to weed out the garden of our hearts. Really take the time to talk with God and ask him where that type of thinking or action stems from. Or ask him if there's anything in us that is out of place (because maybe we are unaware). Listen for the answers. And find out from him what he says about it and if there's anything we need to do about it.
    This is actually something I learned in a Christian counseling class. I tried it. It works. Really well. It has strengthened my relationship with God and helped me with self control tremendously.
    God bless you and keep you all as you grow with God and are strengthened in your inner man.

    Use working out or even going out walking as bonding time. I'm 274lbs but 13 years ago when I married my husband I was 350+lb. Going out with my husband and children walking is fun for me. Going through the 5 love languages with my husband we try to use our love languages in everything we do together and with our children.

      Burn more calories than you eat. Also east healthy Whole Foods. But just remember to eat less calories and you will see progress!

    • @allihernandez3788
      @allihernandez3788 2 роки тому

      Sleep well, try to eat healthy food (protein, vegetables, fruits, waters, grains) and find a balance. Make goals that are consistent and that you can fit into your schedule. Start small and celebrate when you reach a goal.
      Example: A goal can be to workout 3 days a week for at least 30mins. Change it up from weights, cardio, and abs. UA-cam has great workouts for beginners. You can search 30 mins workout if you need guidance and demonstration all the at through, or you can make up your own! Just remember to keep moving and have fun!
      If you can find a community, a parent, aunt/uncle, or friend to help on this journey with you, it will make it so much more fun! Playing a sport like basketball with a friend or going running around the park with a pal can be a game changer!
