@@Hentzau. For sure look at almost every gta ending. In gta 3 you fight almost whole gang to save Maria. But its funny that Claude kills her😂. Then Tommy fights an entire forelli gunmen to save himself. Cj wants to end it for once and all. Niko wants revenge on pegorino or dimitri
@ImYourPapi Yeah. From taking over gangs in los santos, from robing shops with a psycho, setting up a garage in doherty, facing a whole police and swat squad for saving his brother, sneeking into Area 69 to steal a 60 million dollar project, breaking into Caligula's palace, fighting a whole leone mafia gunmen, stealing a military jet, and at last he even killed a drug lord by breaking into his house.
What's really great is that CJ is owning up to his mistakes, admitting he failed his family and he must face his problems on his own. This is like becoming an adult, as you will have to eventually face your problems alone and own up to every mistake you make.
@@calcium5063 yeah but youre trying to make cj nicer that he actually is. While he's definitely one of the more moral gta protagonists, dont forget that he's still a criminal, and unlike the other "good guys" (luis, niko, vic) who arent into their lifestyle, cj's actually ok with himself being a criminal.
Man the symbolism in this mission is crazy. First, when you pull up around smoke’s penthouse, there’s a bicycle. A lot of people use it to ride down. That bicycle is a reference to the beginning mission, when you had to cycle back to Ganton. And then there’s the huge fire that Tenpenny caused. That’s a reference to the very first C.R.A.S.H. Mission, where you had to set a house ablaze. And then when the chase happens and they pass through the same alleyway that Tenpenny had dropped CJ off at in the beginning of the game. And then one of the most recognizable, the “see you around carl” reference at the end.
Alot of People seem really confused why tenpenny didn't kill CJ, some even calling it a plot hole, here's why for the curious, and the idiots: Tenpenny showed genuine panic and fear when CJ claimed sweets was behind him, and he's been paranoid for a while now. He knows for one-hundred percent certainty that if he shot CJ, started looting the safe and sweets walked in he wouldn't hesitate in killing tenpenny. Tenpenny needs that money so he doesn't have to start over from square one, but, if he holds up Carl and sweets walked in, he knows sweets probably wouldn't risk shooting him at the risk of killing his own brother. Even at the end he tries to shoot Carl when he thinks he doesn't need to worry about being snuck up on. It's not a plot hole, it's the logical response of a paranoid man.
also he has the entire city out for his blood and it was like what CJ said he was all alone and had nobody he was getting a plane ride out of town because his time was up
When I was a child I was just playing through the mission and shooting "bad guys", but now that I grew up and actually learned about the story and listened to the dialogs, this hits different man..
So you as a child were able to complete all 100 missions? oh man, when I was a child I was stuck at one of the first missions and then just enjoyed the game by doing other things.
big smoke doesn't seem like a dangerous enough to be the final boss of the game. It should be cool guy like WoZiMo or Toreno but they are good guy so yeah Tenpenny is the final boss I guess and by final boss I mean an enemy that is hard for CJ to kill
CJ going in there alone is what makes this mission my favorite. He felt guilty for leaving his family when they needed him most. He chose to go in there alone to make sure his remaining loved ones wouldn’t get hurt. I admire him for that.
"Ay I let Brian die man..." The silence after this sentence is unbelievably great. Sweet knows he's right, but he doesn't want to acknowledge it. No matter what happened to Brian, CJ's guilt is real and Young Maylay (the voice actor) delivers that feeling perfectly.

I found similarities like that all over the place throughout the game. The very concept of working for the FIB higher ups in GTA V is very reminiscent of the missions Mike Toreno had Carl do. Toreno always says his agency is the 'only good one' just like what Norton and his boss has you believe in GTA V. They are helping fight the war overseas by getting money through shady (though necessary) means. Or that's what they think. Interestingly, one of the very missions from Toreno's airstrip mission arcs was directly transferred over to GTA V. Heading right into a plane, killing all agents (though it was private militia in GTA V) on board, then parachuting down like a boss. One of the striking homages I instantly noticed. If you ever did Cesar and his asset missions for the Zoomer garage/ Wang Cars there was one where CJ and Cesar steal two cars, decide to have fun with them for a while out on the streets, get chased by cops, outrun them, then return to the garage (remind you of anything?). Yep, the first Franklin mission from GTA V. Even the dialogue Cesar spouts at you is almost mirroring what Lamar quips to Franklin in GTA V. Though I have pointed this one out already to some extent, the entire general theme of the C.R.A.S.H. unit being the actual main antagonists in the game is strikingly similar to the FIB's own Steve Haines. The guy even has his own 'almost silent partner', that black guy, just like Jimmy Hernandez was to Tenpenny and Pulaski. I'm sure there are several more general themes that reflect GTA SA and all it's wonders.

this is probably the best and most satisfying ending out of any GTA games, CJ and his families finally became successful, finally took out everyone that has wronged them, own Los Santos and enjoying live in a mansion. this game is truly a masterpiece
He and his family are violent criminals killing people for nothing and stealing their property. The game does not not btw try to portray them as good guys. They deserve to live no more than Tenpenny.
1:14 this is really an emotional moment, seeing cj and sweet reconcile and cj admits his past mistakes really gives an powerful impact to why this game is truly special...
nah. this game was definitely drawn out way too much, especially if you were going for 100% completion. the game itself was and still is fantastic but you'd be lying if you said the story wasn't all over the place and was drawn out at times.
Man I just find it clever how Tenpenny was about to kill Carl, but then in that moment called for a nonextistent Sweet, causing Tenpenny to hesitate, saving Carl for another day. Clever man.
i'm pretty young, my first time playing this game was at 6 yo but i couldn't do many missions by myself, now, 10 years later, i finally completed the whole story, idk how to explain how i feel, i'm just happy that my childhood dream to finish this game was done
My favorite from the series, such an extraordinary adventure, there were over 100 missions in this one and the map was insanely big. It was truly amazing.
*Finna hit the block, see what's happening.* CJ is the only GTA character who didn't change or was was corrupted or just ended up an empty shell of a man. For that reason, CJ is the best GTA protagonist.
GTA SA is one of the best games ever made. If it wasn't fucked up it would be the best game remaster and a lot of old fans would come back to gaming :D
This mission is filled with symbolisms. At 2:19 you can see a bicycle. I think you have the option of taking that to easily cut across the downward slope to reach the tank (that's how i always did it) and it's similar to the first mission which is riding bicycle. Then this mission also involves fire extinguishers just like the first mission that Tenpenny ever gives Carl.
I like how Tenpenny drives through where he dropped off CJ at the beginning. "See ya round like a doughnut, Carl."- Tenpenny (beginning) "See ya round, officer."- Carl (end)
Fun fact: officer Tenpenny was based on a police officer David Mack in the LAPD who got caught doing bank robbery’s off duty with bloods and other officers, he was also a potential suspect to the murder of the notorious BIG aka biggie smalls, and the film training day with denzel Washington is also based on David Mack
I want GTA San Andreas Stories which deals with the past events of GTA San Andreas which led to CJ's escape to Liberty City and the fall of Grove Street Families.
Big Smoke had two "Ohhhh"s. The first "Ohhhh" was an obvious sight of delight seeing his old friend CJ who returned from Liberty City after 5 years. Whereas the other "Ohhhh" is a tragic plight towards his mortality, as he lives his last moments convincing himself to CJ that he was able to become rich and famous from all the wealth he gained from drugs, not realizing all of that went for nothing. Hence those "Ohhh"s were the *same things that made us laugh and made us cry.*

Even though there's so much going on in GTA V, I still think San Andreas is the best GTA for personal reasons. 1. It was the first GTA where you could fully customize your own character. 2. The way a simple story turns into a grand adventure and ends on a satisfying note. 3. The references and easter eggs 4. The character diversity 5. The setting 6. Big ass map with tons of variety This game was amazing! My first GTA game too. I'm glad Rockstar made it possible for a mobile port.
GTA 5 map is bigger, but San Andreas map have three differents cities, another places like forest, villages, roads, deserts and ghost town, each different from the other. In GTA 5 you don't see that variation.
You can see a small variation in 5 though. There's the forest near Paleto. There's the dessert of Sandy Shores. We do have North Yankton thought, unfortunately it wasn't developed much though.

It's sad how big smoke helped you in the old missions but then dies for being against you, he was funny, nice, and all that stuff, R.I.P big smoke, I love gta San Andreas and I will never end loving it.
I'm sorry, but how did exactly Big Smoke help CJ in any way? Sweet and Ryder needed CJ to put a work in Grove Street, but Smoke was all about himself. Sweet wanted CJ to take over Los Santos, Ryder wanted CJ to help him beat down some drug dealers so the gang isn't so weak anymore and steal weapons from the military base for the families. And Smoke? CJ had to run for his drugs and money, chase the Vagos and kill the russians... Even in the Drive-Thru mission Smoke was the only one stuffing his mouth the whole mission while the homies tried to survive the shootout. CJ knew Emmet since the beginning of the game, so Smoke didn't show him anything new in Nines and Ak's.
"You wearing body armor, Smoke? Man, I'm disappointed in you, I thought you was gangsta!" And Carl is also wearing invisible body armor. Classic irony right here.

Love the symbolism.

Even though there's so much going on in GTA V, I still think San Andreas is the best GTA for personal reasons.
1. It was the first GTA where you could fully customize your own character.
2. The way a simple story turns into a grand adventure and ends on a satisfying note.
3. The references and easter eggs
4. The character diversity
5. The setting
6. Big ass map with tons of variety
This game was amazing! My first GTA game too. I'm glad Rockstar made it possible for a mobile port.
Jeh. You right.
Justin Okoh Yeah it's my first game too!
At 7 i rage quit 'cause the damn train!

Man I forgot how cool the old gta missions used to be, oh the nostalgia
- Look, I know you down for this, but I gotta go in there alone
- Why?
- Because you would just be standing and not helping at all, or running around like a moron into my line of sight while I try to shoot, causing me to hit you and not seeing the enemies and I would constantly had to restart the mission beacause of you dying
- Oh, OK, if you need me, you know where I'll be

IMO, the best GTA's final mission is
1. San Andreas
2. Lost n Damned
3. Vice city
GTA4 revenge ending
I like fives (third) ending because, really, in most GTAs, the last mission involves you offing one of your former allies. Whereas Weston was always a dick and deserved to die from the moment he started offshoring his profits
1. GTA IV
2. GTA vice city
3. GTA V
GTA 4 also
1. GTA IV: A Revengers Tragedy
2. GTA San Andreas: End Of The Line
3. GTA Lost And Damned: Get Lost
4. GTA The Ballad Of Gay Tony: Departure Time
5. GTA V: The Third Way
6. GTA Vice City: Keep Your Friends Close
7. GTA 3: The Exchange
History repeating itself.
Nothing changed since 1992.
