I don't think that would work out, I figured Brian died when they were all younger, maybe teenagers at the oldest, and Rockstar doesn't typically have characters under 18 outside of Bully. Characters who I think WOULD make for good protagonists maybe, would be Cesar, Ryder, or maybe a Ballas member who was against all the drug pushing, to show a different side of the story. Additionally, considering the Stories games were originally for PSP, I would have released three of them, one for each area of San Andreas, so instead of San Andreas stories you would get Los Santos Stories, San Fierro Stories and Las Venturas Stories.

lol70721 Nooo silly, you get the reward and then after the story complete assassinations and before doing each one buy specific stakes on the stock market (LCN and Bawsaq), then wait a couple of in-game days and the % or the stake will go up and you can almost double all your money if done correctly. You can find many guides for this on internet so yeah... I easily got 2- 2.1 billion on each character and had more than enough to buy literally anything i wanted :)

i have this. it's a dvd that came with san andreas when it first came out. it also had an extra documentary on lowriders called "sunday driver". this dvd just explains a little about how cj's mom got hit up. that's why in the mission "drive-thru" where they're ordering food, cj wanted to talk about the incident, and ryder basically gave it away, saying "talk about it? they was goin' for sweet!" "some people say they saw a green sabre doing the work and speedin' away!" but smoke told him to shut up in code by saying "you know what people are like. say they have love for you, but won't say a word. too damn scared." basically telling ryder to stop telling, cause he's giving them away. then smoke says "but PEOPLE (ryder) love to talk. anyway, that's half of los santos you talkin' about." ryder replies "you right, my bad" implying in code that he's sorry for almost blowing their cover.
that's why smoke had all those quotes and sayings in the game. those were his coded apologies to cj. cj, however, didn't peep that. notice that he also moved to the ballas area. he was forced to re-locate by tenpenny and them, plus he was forced to work with them and the ballas.
And in the drive thru mission when you had to shoot the ballas car notice how smoke is inventing exuses that he doesnt wanna shoot cause of his damm food meaning he doesnt shoot because he dosent wanna kill the ballas members

They didn't fire him, MC Eiht (Ryder's Voice Actor) quitted the job probably because he was underpaid, I never really knew the exact reason, but that's what I heard.
Yeah, but his work in leaking evidence and exposing them over the course of the game essentially started their downfall, without him, CJ and all the others would not have had a chance because Tenpenny wouldn't have been under as much investigation. He basically set Tenpenny up to fail although it cost him his life.
I just watched this video just now and realized I had absolutely no idea about the lore. Damn this is so saddening story. I was a kid when i finished this game. The storyline and game deserves an award. Games today will never feel like this masterpiece.

Ryder should've stayed loyal, dissapear for a little bit after smoke gets revealed, and then like midway through game get cj out of a tough spot guns blazing and help Carl get sweet and take the grove back.
That's exactly because he never did want to. He was blackmailed by Tenpenny into doing the Green Sabre drive-by with a couple ballas to make it look like the Seville Families did it in order to make the gangs split. He was expecting to kill Sweet but got his mom instead. Smoke was operating under C.R.A.S.H's influence, blinded by money and the opportunity to "spread out" and become leader of a large drug empire. He even tried getting Sweet to buy into it to not have to kill him, but he was all about sticking with GSF. He was the same at heart as well, he only happened to care for money over his own integrity. Ryder though was clearly meant to stick with CJ and meet the gang in SF. Unfortunately, R* messed up and had a falling out with MC Eiht so they had to rearrange the storyline to kill his character off, which is why you hear so many of Ryder's previous voicelines being reused on the Pier 69 mission, and also why his death felt random and rushed out. A shame since he could've become an even bigger fan favorite if his character had stuck around.

I don't think that would work out, I figured Brian died when they were all younger, maybe teenagers at the oldest, and Rockstar doesn't typically have characters under 18 outside of Bully.
Characters who I think WOULD make for good protagonists maybe, would be Cesar, Ryder, or maybe a Ballas member who was against all the drug pushing, to show a different side of the story.
Additionally, considering the Stories games were originally for PSP, I would have released three of them, one for each area of San Andreas, so instead of San Andreas stories you would get Los Santos Stories, San Fierro Stories and Las Venturas Stories.

In the game big smoke refers that he bought the new house when he got some money from his aunt when really the money came from tenpenny. He paid him so he would order the hit on Sweet
That's also why Smoke was hiding in the Johnsons' house with a bat, he was waiting for Sweet to come home so he could kill him because the hit on Sweet failed. Instead, CJ walked in. That's my theory, at least.

They hype up the hiest by saying "this is the big one" but once you complete the last mission...you have barly any money to buy half the businesses in the game lol..i was greatly disappointded how little the reward was..
lol70721 Nooo silly, you get the reward and then after the story complete assassinations and before doing each one buy specific stakes on the stock market (LCN and Bawsaq), then wait a couple of in-game days and the % or the stake will go up and you can almost double all your money if done correctly. You can find many guides for this on internet so yeah... I easily got 2- 2.1 billion on each character and had more than enough to buy literally anything i wanted :)

i have this. it's a dvd that came with san andreas when it first came out. it also had an extra documentary on lowriders called "sunday driver". this dvd just explains a little about how cj's mom got hit up. that's why in the mission "drive-thru" where they're ordering food, cj wanted to talk about the incident, and ryder basically gave it away, saying "talk about it? they was goin' for sweet!" "some people say they saw a green sabre doing the work and speedin' away!" but smoke told him to shut up in code by saying "you know what people are like. say they have love for you, but won't say a word. too damn scared." basically telling ryder to stop telling, cause he's giving them away. then smoke says "but PEOPLE (ryder) love to talk. anyway, that's half of los santos you talkin' about." ryder replies "you right, my bad" implying in code that he's sorry for almost blowing their cover.
that's why smoke had all those quotes and sayings in the game. those were his coded apologies to cj. cj, however, didn't peep that. notice that he also moved to the ballas area. he was forced to re-locate by tenpenny and them, plus he was forced to work with them and the ballas.
And in the drive thru mission when you had to shoot the ballas car notice how smoke is inventing exuses that he doesnt wanna shoot cause of his damm food meaning he doesnt shoot because he dosent wanna kill the ballas members

Judging by the scenes with Tenpenny talking to Smoke, I don't think Smoke wanted to betray Grove Street...
That's exactly because he never did want to. He was blackmailed by Tenpenny into doing the Green Sabre drive-by with a couple ballas to make it look like the Seville Families did it in order to make the gangs split. He was expecting to kill Sweet but got his mom instead.
Smoke was operating under C.R.A.S.H's influence, blinded by money and the opportunity to "spread out" and become leader of a large drug empire. He even tried getting Sweet to buy into it to not have to kill him, but he was all about sticking with GSF. He was the same at heart as well, he only happened to care for money over his own integrity.
Ryder though was clearly meant to stick with CJ and meet the gang in SF. Unfortunately, R* messed up and had a falling out with MC Eiht so they had to rearrange the storyline to kill his character off, which is why you hear so many of Ryder's previous voicelines being reused on the Pier 69 mission, and also why his death felt random and rushed out. i thought i was the only one who ever thinking the same thing but i think rockstar made the game first and then this intro that's because they made this as a replacement for gta san andreas stories or maybe because they don't want to make the intro longer so they cut it cause who wants to play a game that has introduction movie very long especially for restarting a new game for their memories
