I don’t think I have ever seen a more beautiful mossy green rock stream and surely I could sit and watch And learn from you all day long ...Adam I love what you do
Another great vlog Adam. Since we started our channel and vlogged from waterfall locations we can appreciate the extra effort it takes to shoot in these locations. Thanks for all your hard work😁
Would love to see several videos on your drone flying and video capture ... both planning the "script" (or storyboard) and the actual flying techniques.
Fuji, Nikon, Phone Camera, doesn't matter what system you use. Some photos might look better than others, sometimes we have the feeling that a camera brand can make a difference. But in reality its you Mr. Adam who really makes the difference. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and personality, that's why we are here, because of you. Even though we don't know you personally, I know you are a humble and centered good human being. Thanks Ps. Please keep the good work, I really enjoy it! God bless you.
I paused the video at 13:04 and just took all that green goodness in. That is a shot that I would typically take and the jealousy factor is tipping the scale. Good to see you out and about in your natural element Adam👍🏻
Beautiful as always. Also, a huge thank you for being a judge for Nigel Danson’s competition. Sounds like it was a lot of work and want you to know it is appreciated.
I'm grateful for finding your and Gavin's channels a couple of years back. You've brought a lot of amusement (+inspiration) to my petty life. All the best for these weird times.
Great job! The focus stack image was by far the best (which is not to insinuate the others weren't good) but the work and effort that went into the focus stack image was very apparent. The color, luminosity, and balanced composition were spot on. The image gives scope to the imagination.
Adam, the last image was by far my favorite based on the composition and the lighting. Thank you for sharing for process in setting up and thinking through how to take your amazing photos.
You really need to try Capture One for Fuji Adam, it does an incredible job of bringing out shadow detail, the shadow, highlight, whites and blacks tool is second to none. It works differently to Lightroom so quite a bit of a learning curve. Being able to create luminosity masks on layers on a RAW image along with all other kinds of masks makes editing remarkably quick and simple. I find the only thing I go to Photoshop for now is for focus stacking and panoramas. Always enjoy your videos, thoughtfully produced with great informative content.
Love seeing what you can do with the GFX50r...and the drone in reverse, always love that. Would like to see you sweat it out on the maneuvering in and out of those obstacles!
Love your work Adam. At my age and health condition to get into the streams and canyons is impossible, it's fun to watch you do it and get those one of a kind image. You do the finish work so well.
A masterclass on how to work a scene. Bugger the camera, the compositions are what blew me away! Excellent video! A classic Gibbs. So so good to watch and take in. I learned so much from the compositions. Take care, sithee
Adam, I second the previous comment about your drone shots. I have a drone too and can really appreciate the level of effort you're making in creating interesting compositions and transitions within your trip in addition to "getting the shot" and explaining the process. You're doing a great job and setting a superb example. Thank you.
When it comes to under exposed area(water and rocks) I rather prefer the color of raw file. It looks more natural and add depth and calmness. So with slightly brighten up the moss and the green, I prefer the raw file color of the right hand side(under exposed area).
Loved how you worked the entire scene and touched upon the significant challenges in the processing of photos. That combined with the RAW and processed photos helps explain how in the world you came up with the final image. Focal length importance was also a good point. Pitty that you had to put those ugly green boots over this quite colorful socks ;)
Loved it! Inspirational and technically informative. Been following you for about 18 months and I love what you do. All that work is appreciated! I think both drone shots were beautiful. Ever thought of traveling to Montreal, Qc.? Thanks for sharing your great experience & knowledge of photography!
I can hear Gavin making a joke about the name of the trail! I can say that as I am not far behind you. So many photo opps on Vancouver island. Very educational Adam. Enjoy your weekend.
Great video. I'm going to go out today and try to use ideas in this video on what's called 9mile creek in my town. Waking up to Adam and coffee every sat morning reminds me of when i was a kid and we had saturday morning shows!
The processing work on your "simple" composition is super work Adam, and the result is glorious. Also the mossy rocks image in your later setup is killer. Beautiful work.
Lovely images! Your favorite is my favorite too. Your hard work paid off. Those greens are intense. It's a beautiful place. Thanks for taking us along!
I really liked this site and photos as well as your usual thorough explanation of your thought process. I think you do this better than most if not all other photo vloggers As a bonus, you are back to a Saturday posting, and I have quite settled into the timing. BTW you, and therefore we by extension, are fortunate to be as nimble as sure-footed as you are despite the fact that you aren't particularly youthful. I say this as someone even older who has some accessibility issues.
Beautiful video, love those vibrant mossy stones with the waterfall. I remember using Fuji film back in the day which was renown for gorgeous greens, look like Fuji are carrying on the tradition with the fabulous camera and your skills 👌
Great video. One of my favorite images, Rocky Brook in Brinnon WA, is very similar to what you're working with here (except for the waterfall), water and green boulders, dynamic light. I was amazed at how the GFX was able to capture shadow detail with little or no noise. What a wonderful camera.
The trickle happened to me yesterday. We drove 2 1/2 hours and hiked in a mile, the waterfall was only about 1 1/2 ft wide which looked even smaller due to the height.
Nice images and video Adam, probably liked the last image best but all worthy captures. On another note, I sensed in one of the latest Gavin videos that you were discouraged by the Trolls with their comments. Keep doing what you created on this platform and don't let the few bring you down. These are people that likely wear their pajama pants in Walmart and live in their Mother's basement. It takes more thought, dedication, work and talent to do what you put out for free than these people can comprehend. I think the majority of your viewers would agree with me.
Thanks so much Adam... You have entered a magical realm of intense mossy greens, love it! Those final images where you stepped back a bit were just what the doctor ordered. This is when I love using my Canon EF 70-200 mm f/2.8L non-is lens to pull that distant subject in closer... Excellent drone work once again sir. In this upside down world currently among all of us Adam, this presentation was a perfect start to my Saturday morning! Thanks again, Bill on the Hill, Vermont, USA... :~) PS, Nice socks!
More helpful teaching and good results make for another pleasing vlog...thank you . I'm an ex-Nikon Fuji X system user nowadays so am always interested in your thoughts on the GFX capabilities. I wish you much continued success with the 50R
I don’t think I have ever seen a more beautiful mossy green rock stream and surely I could sit and watch And learn from you all day long ...Adam I love what you do
That’s drone shot reversing along the rocks along the river both made my jaw drop and my heart rate increase haha. Great vlog Adam!
Adam is definitely the Drone Master. Beautiful shots and absolutely terrifying flight through dangerous, obstacle covered air.
Agree!
Yes that drone shot was excellent.
I had the same thrill! Very nicely done!
This will be excellent during the rainy season, the volume should be impressive and no glare
The thin brown area near the top of the waterfall would have driven me nuts... Very well done.
Fantastic location and incredible compositions. Wow. Thanks, Adam.
Another great vlog Adam. Since we started our channel and vlogged from waterfall locations we can appreciate the extra effort it takes to shoot in these locations. Thanks for all your hard work😁
nice sox Adam.
Green everywhere ... thanks for sharing !!!
That drone sequence was seriously amazing!!! Thanks for another great video mate!
Would love to see several videos on your drone flying and video capture ... both planning the "script" (or storyboard) and the actual flying techniques.
Really enjoying the f4 training program! Thanks for all the work you put into it, Adam! 🙏
I don't know what's more impressive...your drone cinematics or the photography itself. Loving those vibrant Fuji greens.
Fantastic as always Adam. Thank you for putting these videos together. I always get something out of them.
Excellent as always Adam!
Just what i need on a. Lockdown. Calming video and a cup of tea thanks
The shot at 11:25 is gorgeous Adam absolutely love it .
Another great insight into your image thought processes. I loved the mossy boulders too. Great shots!
Stunning photos.
Superfine vlog Adam. You are the best photographer for waterfalls. 👌👌👌
Wow what an amazing location. And your images as usual are stunning!! Thanks Adam!
Magical place!! awesome waterfall Adam!
loved the video. Thanks for all the pro tips. Im so jealous you have all these beautiful waterfalls at your doorstep. Keep them videos coming 👍
Gorgeous place, really made me want be back in the PNW. Fantastic video, thanks!
Those greens are beautiful! Lovely image Adam! Looking forward to getting my hands on the GFX50R
Good choice!
Great images Adam. It would be very interesting to see a video of you work flow on that first shot. Thanks for the inspiration
Thanks for the lesson on composition... I always learn something from your vids... 👍👍👍
Fantastic shots, and a good watch. I always learn something from your videos.
I'm way behind on videos and playing catch up. This is a beautiful location. You seem to have endless discoveries there.

Masterful! Love the drone footage, the compositions, making simple out of the complex, and of course, your socks!!! Thanks, Adam.
Beautiful as always. Also, a huge thank you for being a judge for Nigel Danson’s competition. Sounds like it was a lot of work and want you to know it is appreciated.

All the best for these weird times.
... and lot of fun !!!
Love it! Your work has Inspired me more then Words can Say. Thank You

I too liked the image @10:30. The music you chose there was really nice as well. Loved those socks!
One of my favorite spots to photograph. But I do agree getting a great photo of this waterfall is extremely difficult.

Man that drone shot at the start is just ridiculously unreal.
What a location Adam! Definitely a place you could lose yourself in for hours looking for compositions. Loved the images you came away with.
Nice treatment. Always good to keep the feet dry. Rock on!
Wish I could help keep you head from getting to big by finding something negative to say, bu just can’t do it. Wonderful once again.
Love your work Adam. At my age and health condition to get into the streams and canyons is impossible, it's fun to watch you do it and get those one of a kind image. You do the finish work so well.
Safety tip: Carry one hiking staff to use when in the stream. Adds a huge amount of stability as you look for foot placements!
even better: a long wooden stick as tall as you and with a sharp steel tip. That's the best for very steep, difficult and slipery places.
Man, I have got to get this camera! Amazing.
A masterclass on how to work a scene. Bugger the camera, the compositions are what blew me away! Excellent video! A classic Gibbs. So so good to watch and take in. I learned so much from the compositions. Take care, sithee
I love this. I'm Australian but this location has such a Japanese feel. Beautiful again.

Beautiful work, Adam.
Great shots !!
Thank you for your willingness to explain your process to get the final image.
Excellent and thanks!!!

Great video Adam and beautiful images.
I love the drone flight in the video!
Was planning on heading that way in the next short while. Thanks for confirming I should go
Great stuff Adam...as always. Glad that you're back at it...I think we've all had enough of lockdown and your videos provided a much needed respite.
Gorgeous photos!
Beautiful area. Thanks!
Nice wellies Adam. You should make a video about them some day ;)
Nice images, very skillful editing, thanks for sharing your technique.

A superb video Adam! Enjoyed this very much as waterfalls are one of my favorite subjects to photograph here in the SE U.S.
Loved it! Inspirational and technically informative. Been following you for about 18 months and I love what you do. All that work is appreciated! I think both drone shots were beautiful. Ever thought of traveling to Montreal, Qc.? Thanks for sharing your great experience & knowledge of photography!

One word, A-MA-ZING 👍

The location is amazing. Looks like a Fantasy movie.

Beautiful images! I wish we would have waterfalls in the Netherlands.. 🙈
