such a shame that fish jumped out 😢 but the replacement fish is very nice it will be interesting to see how it changes in your pond and I love the golden corn I would definitely of taken the gamble . I can't wait to see both develop 👌👍
Love the new intro some great memories in there. As you know we were absolutely gutted for you and its a nice replacement but we know what your like and you will find your proper replacement 🤣 see you soon 😍👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Hi Lau can't believe I missed this video, two beautiful new editions especially the Golden Corn I think you have done the right thing and took the gamble ,will look forward to watching them both progress x
Two beautiful additions to your pond , definitely worth the gamble .. interesting to see how they both turn out especially the golden corn .. big thumbs up on your video lau 👍😀
Thank you Sid, I am still gutted really about the black ginrin kawarigoi that jumped at the koi dealer. Such a shame, there arent many about with the ginrin just on the scales... but hey.. Yes, that was the deal in my head, if I was getting these two, then two had to be moved on.
Hi Lau sorry about the lost fish i knew how much you wanted it and I'm sure you will find something just as good but at least you have two new additions to your pond now. Stay safe Andy👍
Nice additions Lau, love the golden corn may get one myself if this dream pond ever gets built, but at the moment big boys doing great out the back, but concentrating on our scaly friends that like salinity at the mo. lol
@@LauMagroTheFrenchKOInection Fine and yourself, lol haven't set foot in my koi LFS since last year so don't know what's happening or even if my drums turn up. got stuck on this marine malarky.
Loving the new intro Lau. The 2nd fish looks really interesting and looking at the pictures you put up of a similar one, it definitely looks like a good risk. Both of the new additions are stunners 😍
Nice new additions Lau, I like your taste in koi I'm not a huge gosanke fan either prefer the weird and wonderful. Pond looking so lovely with all the greenery got me buying more plants for round mine. Cheers!
Two very interesting koi additions to your pond. Will be fascinating to see the development of both fish, particularly the first one, will it turn completely black, looks great as it is. The golden corn my be a bit more of a risk, but a worthwhile one. Will follow with interest. Ponds looking great, stay safe and well 👍🏻
HI Steven, I agree, I am looking for the development for the Hajiro. Such an unusual breed. Looking at it, I think he will be white belly (but that's normal), but my bet is that he will become much darker especially as I have hard water, but will have some white tips on the scales. Looking at the pectoral fins, they are fully white (except a line through, I cant see them turning fuly black. BUt we will see, he has just turned nisai and he was fully white 3 months ago.
Hi Dave, thank you, yes really sad about the jumper one... but better it happened at the koi dealer rather than in my pond or I would have lost a lot of money!
Hi Lau, such a shame about the Kawarigoi, looked a lovely fish. However the replacements are as equally stunning😍 Very looking forward to seeing the golden corn progress, as you said such a hard variety to predict. Great video, take care🙏
Loving the new fish especially the hiroji. I have never seen anything like them before. I have always had a thing for black and white koi like kumonryu so the hiroji would be my pick, not sure about the other. Will be interesting to see how it develops and if it achieves what you are hoping for it. Cheers.
I knew you would quite like the hajiro :-) he is really nice, he is definitely growing on me, the video doesnt do him justice but looking at them from the top, he is really nice
A nice looking Hajiro (?), with great scalation. The Golden Corn is unusual, but worth a gamble. Shame about the jumper 😢 Are you going to the Young Koi Show this coming weekend? Hope your phone was OK. Stay safe.
Hi, No I am not going to the show. Yes hone was OK, the sound was like mono sound for a couple of minutes.. 🙄 Yes the first one is a large scaled Hajiro.
Hey my man. He grew very quickly but like a lot of white corn, he got some black patches which is the throw back from the asagi so I gave him away to someone who couldn't afford large fish.
I did watch the other day but I can't believe i didn't comment, my apologies 😳😉 It's a shame about the one that jumped and I'm sure even though it was replaced you will still be searching for another one.
Such a shame about the one that jumped. It will be interesting to see how the new fish develop. I'm not 100% sure I like the golden corn variety. I think it will take seeing them for a while for them to grow on me I think. They both look lovely fish in shape and quality but I think I prefer the black and white.
Hi Jim, yeah same here. I am not 100% sure but i just want to see how he develops. I like the way the white ones have developed at Koi Wholesale, whether this one will develop the same way, I don't know. But he does look good in the pond so far. Hopefully he will grow on me too.
Hi lau, can I just ask a quick question about your sleeper pond as I am building one myself in the next couple of month, Have you had any trouble with the walls bowing or any movement ? Any help would be much appreciated Love your videos 🙏 Thanks, Carl
Hi Carl, I have the large sleepers on their side and I have put 25 rebars in so the walls can't bow. If you watch some.of my earlier video you'll see. If you don't put rebars in, they will bow with the force of the water.

Aragoke kumonryu?? Technically impossible as kumonryu are fully doitsu so I think it's more of a made-up name when people mix a bit of everything. Large scaled hajiro for sure, quite common especially from Kanno farm. This one is fully scaled to the belly line.
@@LauMagroTheFrenchKOInection ua-cam.com/video/sxlIf5IHwD8/v-deo.htmlsi=Ch0ke3uAb2I4BKcg if you watch this video rick from Koi Wholesale would explain to you that its just a doitsu kumonryu
@dare-bear9842 ok 🙂 not sure Kanno koi farm would appreciate being told that his large scaled hajiro, bred feom a male hajiro would appreciate 😀 This one is definitely a hajiro due to the shape and fave shape.
I love both of them.....the Golden Corn will be interesting to follow :)
Thanks Alex. I am still unsure about the golden corn, but I am looking forward to the development
Very nice additions Lau, they are both going to be worth following.👍👍💯💯
Thank you Dave. Yes, it's quite interesting with those two.

Well it's only because you have 'pushed' me that I decided to go for it, even if I had already paid for it. BUt yeah I can see that now
Sorry to hear the sad news of your fish loss Lau. Two lovely new addition's to the pond. Enjoyed watching. :)
really a shame, luckily I didnt have him yet... that would have been really bad for me and a big money loss.. thank you for the kind comment
