MORE. OF. THIS. Sometimes I spend so much curiosity of why top players do certain things, or how they put themselves in winning positions. It's like I'm mid-elo but studying what makes the bigger gap of top players and average ones, besides APM, it's good to know the 'strategy' and 'thought process' behind stuff. Please continue with the funny & informative content
“Get Good with Beasty” it’s a great name for ya . It let’s us know what the videos will be about n with who .. U starting to be my favorite caster .. luv the insight .. I wish u would commentate more on you gameplay videos .. most of us watch these videos, as background noise ya know .. the more u talk the easier it to watch .. kinda like how Turin does in his aoe4 vids.,
Turin would be my favourite, very down to earth, I like drongo but he appears to be believing he is the star when it should always be the game. Only bad thing referring Turin is he is more focused on warhammer 3 these days.
I am a noob who managed to climb to 1200-1300 elo. This was really informative to watch. Some things like denying the ressources is something I rarely focus on in my games. Will try to incorporate stuff like that into my games. Thanks a lot beasty
YES! I been waiting for this :) I played this game as a kid like 20 years ago, Just started playing again and I been waiting for something from the GOAT to train off of. Much love for you man !
thank you so much beasty! i don’t play this game at all (too old now) but stuff like this will surely make me more able to follow your gameplay. hearing your thinking is so enlightening! it’s clear you deserve all the success you’ve had in this game.
I recognize that you are a competitor who also makes content, not just a content creator, but this video was not only more entertaining than hyper focused gameplay but also a lot more useful. I definitely came out of this video with a better understanding of the game
Man, this video is some epic content. People who comment games are not that good players and people that are good players are not that good commenters. This video has both! Another tip, you could team um with some narrator so they could narrate your videos while you play !
Thank you so much for doing this! I can't say how many times I've watched pro games, including yours, and seen that the strategies were successful, but not understanding why they were successful or how to do them. Definitely appreciate the insights!
Name idea: Get Beastly with QT! A question about the game for you Beasty, I’m coming from Starcraft as well and one thing I struggle to understand is when I should be taking my economic upgrades, with the exception of wheelbarrow cause that is a no brainer. A video explaining it would be great!
@16:30 that cute little road between the Wooden Fortress and the Barbican being generated as if the Rus and Chinese casually visit each other between these two
For sure! I've been watching your videos since SC2 challenges and learning the stuff. Now I am back after quite a pause from RTS and it feels great so watch your videos again!! Some build order videos would also be great, if you get the time to make them! Keep up the good work, king!
I reaaally like this style of video. This is the most helpful breakdown I have ever seen. Get good with Beasty caught my attention, so I think that works well!
Great video... maybe name is a bit confusing because it's not a tutorial, which I expected, more of a breakdown so 'How to beasty' or 'The inner beasty' would be better. Explaining your strat gave very deep insight into the game. It is great and I hope to see more of those :D
I was preaching the same thing for all the top tier HRE games but I've now seen Beasty turn around so many games fast castling and moving out on the map with almost no army but he pretty much always get the relics, stabilizes and transitions into a heavy siege army to win the game. But The Mistah has that style of fighting hard in feudal with horseman and then transitions into knights once he secures the relics.
I think your lose analysis could also go under this video series, learning from watching your own replays, loses included, is a skill many of us still need to learn
I admire your play. I notice you harass and that is part of the key to winning. I am not there yet and trying to harass while building my empire. More importantly, have some plan to defeat the enemy at the outset.
Love you Beasty. Been watching since way back in the sc2 days. Was wondering your opinion on the most "defensive" civ in aoe4? Something like "if you don't kill them by x time, you will probably lose" type of civ?
And btw, the one think i dont know why noone talks about in your gameplay, with i love alot for all civs (and i think was one of the main reasons you won N4C) is your emphesis on relics and sites. When i was looking N4C you nearly allways had 4+ relics and usualy some site too as any civ, making you 500-600gpm... so like 2x regnitz cathedral relic... HUGE.... all ppls freak out about regnitz, and when you casualy get 2 sites and 4 relics no one mentioned it...
First, love the content. Nice look into your brain. If Leenock would have placed the astronomical clocktower in the north behind his base, what could you have done to prevent his siege?
Good series, great idea. Only realy bad map/civs pickted for it. MH for rus seems like autowin nearly each game, so unless he made smth realy good you prob. just win each game....
Nice strategy and execution. Viewers often can't fully appreciate the player's overarching strategy and end up wondering how many decisions were planned or on the fly. Analytical casters help but miss a lot of nuances.

OK IF YOU ARE MID ELO IM NON ELO EZ STOMP L2P
I’ve seen that word “elo” before while looking up player rankings. What does “elo” mean?

Don't be shy potato to show us your losses! We know you learn from them. You debriefed after the Vortix games. I appreciated it.
Ep. Potato: how to turn your losses into wins
could u send me the video Vortix won him ?
YES! I been waiting for this :) I played this game as a kid like 20 years ago, Just started playing again and I been waiting for something from the GOAT to train off of. Much love for you man !

Jordan! You’re not too old!
Never too old to enjoy some AOE!
jordan, youre not too old! unless your hands lockup uncontrollably 😢. maybe you could craft a map!
I'm 51 gaming
I also want to add that it was awesome u win the NC4, the first biggest aoe4 tournament .. no doubt ur father was there with u, n was proud..
Yesss. I love this in depth stuff. It’s super helpful having you describe every action.
Love this! I hope it becomes a series. I also like your casting very much!
I recognize that you are a competitor who also makes content, not just a content creator, but this video was not only more entertaining than hyper focused gameplay but also a lot more useful. I definitely came out of this video with a better understanding of the game
i learned so much from this within a few mins. Thanks! Hope to see more like this.

Absolutely LOVE the game sense views like this!

Look for a channel called "age of noob" he does deep dives into stuff like this
old SC2 watcher, only came to see the comments roasting the thumbnail. sorely disappointed.
love ya beasty
Insane! Just asked for "Academy series" in previous post and now Voila! Thank you BeastyQT

Yeah I like this better than just game play. Always loved your analysis videos on sc2 and I'm watching this as well even though I'm not playing aoe4.
Fantastic series, learnt so much already. Really focusing on those first 10 minutes is super insightful.
I reaaally like this style of video. This is the most helpful breakdown I have ever seen. Get good with Beasty caught my attention, so I think that works well!

Loving the breakdown of the game from your perspective!!
Very interesting, I hope more videos like this will come out.
Really great content, please do more videos like this!
Here is naming suggestion: "Beasty Mode Explained". Keep up the good work!
I want to see some Beasty HRE in a game where he fights and gets the relics.
I was preaching the same thing for all the top tier HRE games but I've now seen Beasty turn around so many games fast castling and moving out on the map with almost no army but he pretty much always get the relics, stabilizes and transitions into a heavy siege army to win the game. A really really good video there. Hope you'll do more.
I was thinking about : Some special strategies on each civs
I think your lose analysis could also go under this video series, learning from watching your own replays, loses included, is a skill many of us still need to learn
Ooooh nice. I wanted to start playing online more but was intimidated by lack of guidance. Felt way more comfortable in AoE2 lol
I am learning a lot watching your games! Thank you!
Premium Aoe4 content. Thanks a lot 💪🏻
Thanks you very much el professor Beastyqt for the golden content that you offer us
The title tho. Winnie the Xi wants to know your location.

Please make more videos like this. It's awesome!
Awesome video beasty!
We need more. We need more.

Something like "if you don't kill them by x time, you will probably lose" type of civ?
very interesting analysis. thank you

Beasty has an infinite amount of new t-shirts 🙃
thanks so much for doing this
Fantastic insights.
Isn't it contradictory to say you don't go second scout so you can feudal asap but then only put 3 vils on the landmark?
Beasty Universitas
This is really helpful
More pls! BeastyQTips
the book of beasty - episode 1
Keep it up!
Call it BEAST MODE
Nice strategy and execution. Viewers often can't fully appreciate the player's overarching strategy and end up wondering how many decisions were planned or on the fly. Analytical casters help but miss a lot of nuances.

Hi beasty, i would like to see how to defeat hre. You are an excellent player
The only correct name for this video is the InnerBeasty :D hahahahahaha
who is slug1111111 on stream i got questions to him. 10:52
Prewatching for the 2030 war.
Just curious why you decided to play aoe4 professionally instead of aoe2
You've just lost all your social credits
It should be called, "This Is Why You're Not a Pro"
name idea: BCQTU
Keep at like 12 mins
That’s crazy
