- I had a tiny knitting drama with running out of yarn to finish my mushroom sweater. I did an awful job coloring matching and accidentally ordered a different color yarn. The Butterick 1897 cycling sweater is provided a great distraction until I get the color yarn to finish my toadstool sweater.

Do you knit multiple projects at once?
I am a total non-monogamous knitter/crocheter! I always like to have different projects that way i have smaller projects and bigger projects. Small projects give me some quicker wins and help me power through bigger projects!

Sorry the needlepoint yarn is giving you so much trouble! It looks gorgeous but I totally get that bad yarn or materials can make a project a lot tougher to complete.
I'm so sorry the mushroom sweater is giving you so much trouble! It's looking gorgeous though and I can't wait to see the finished project. It will be great ot have the FO in your closet I am sure! I always over order yarn, which results in its own problem but I'm so paranoid about running out (especially since I am NOT great at figuring out my size and don't always do a test swatch because I like to live ~ dangerously ~
The Cycling sweater is so gorgeous! I think this is the one you showed me? It's so stinking gorgeous. I love the big billowy sleeves. The color you selected is so gorgeous and I think will look great on you. 17 skeins is WILD haha but so worth it.
Knitpicks has my heart as well. Their interchangable needles are my faves of all the circular needles i have. They have a nice sharp tip!
I am currently working on a few projects, but I may narrow down my total number so I can get some stuff done quicker! I have 2 scarves, one for myself and one for a gift for my sister. I'm also working on the "Ashlar Pullover" by Emily Marie Davies. AND I have a new family member coming next spring, SO I've got some yarn waiting in the wings to make a little blanket for them!

I have a feeling that I over ordered for that cycling sweater, but green is my favorite color right now, so I think I can finish more projects to use the extra for.
