- This is on first playthrough, I hit 88% in completed creatures by chapter five. Mission Time! Lose in the tournament and it's Game Over. Capture Daeva, Tomb, Dolmen, Monolith will unlock Ultima Weapon and the Fiend World Cup with Omega Weapon. Farplane Cup is now unlocked! To be continued...Almighty Shinra is next.
if some of yall are wondering why you guys can't capture monolith, you have to go through the farplane in ch 5 (fighting Aeons like Shiva, Magus Sisters, and Anima) then watch the cutscene with leblanc and her goons at the farplane then go back to the Celsius and capture monolith with the M pod at Djose and there you have it. I was getting a headache on figuring out how to capture that dude ugh.
This is very interesting so Ultima Weapon & Omega Weapon are actually brothers X-2 was good game 👍

The fiery red portal always reminds me when Seymour and Yuna summoned Anima from underworld.

Do you have to capture every single monster to get the Far plane cup and fiend arena?

Do you have to level up 5 times for each fiend? I only leveled up 3 times and they still evolved, but I don't see the mission start after getting jahi.
+MrGerardo Monsters level up 5 times, these monsters such as Daeva, Tomb, only level up 3 times.
So as long as you get a tale completion or something like that, you can release them?
+MrGerardo Yep! I find it easier to give them the Double EXP and maybe if it's too late to do this quest at a later point in the game, but do it later in NG+ when YRP are at their starting point levels.
where do u find dolmen?
Capture Tomb from Djose, level him up a couple times which finishes his field tale, release him, watch the cutscene then you can capture Dolmen in Djose. Do the same with Dolmen, and then you can capture Monolith, but you need to have fought Monolith atleast once in the road to farplane which is the bit after you jump in one of the holes.
I'm trying to find a way to fight against Ultima Weapon again. I completed the game & i dunno how to fight him again. I need to learn supernova to gun mages.
I'm pretty sure you probably figured this out already since you posted 5 months ago, but just in case you didn't; you can fight Ultima Weapon in Via Infinito Floors 47-49 or Ruin Depths.
but why did he keep Omega weapon... wasn´t he the bad sibling?
I think by doing this, unlocks the next part, which is almighty shinra? I'm just guessing

Where to find monolith?
You have to have fought him in the Farplane before you can snag one with a M sphere. Then capture in either Kilika Island, Djose Temple, or if missed later, in Bevelle.
Story of omega and ultima weapons here are contradictory to FFX. In FFX, Lulu told Tidus that Omega once was a yevonite monk who betrayed Yevon temple and got death sentence in Omega ruin and after that he became fiend. In FFX 2, why is it contradictory to FFX?
Could of been a made up story in the world of FFX . I mean the whole religion was basically a lie lol

+Tsang Sir yup, that's the one i am playing, it's by pbirdman yeah? however the ultimate shinra fiend arena section has not been translated as it still shows japanese kanji.

@@villaniousmustache4898 I thought it was a bad game story wise, but the gameplay was viable, for the ps2. That was until I found that it had new game plus, and the HD remaster had this coliseum, and Last Mission. I thought it was some crazy added mod content to the game, but its from the japanese only "international" version of FFX-2.
@@Joe_334 game was amazing. Story needed work ofc but the game has the best integrated battle system of any final fantasy I've ever seen. It had dark knight, berserker, gunner, gun mage, holy knight and so on. By far, their best addition of class utilization of any final fantasy game ever
