Bruno could never take a knee .. fight clean fight hard .. Lennox was lucky to get that left hook though, Frank was winning imho. However, Lennox would go on to be the lineal HW champ. Can't take that away from him.. It was a good clean fight. Lewis was always dangerous when hurt.
Yes against bums against class he couldn’t do it. He was no Lennox Lewis or Tyson or Big Daddy Bow or even Holyfield . He lacked class. Also some boxers have a granite chins which Bruno lacked, Bruno didn’t have endurance which he lacked , with all that lactic acid in his muscles.
@@Red-Revolution708 And yet, despite all of these things that he supposedly “lacked”, he became the heavyweight of the world and a very wealthy man. And what have you accomplished in YOUR life?! 😂😂😂

FRANK BRUNO IF HE HAD A BIT MORE SELF BELIEVE IN HIS ABILITIES HE STUMBLED TYSON IN FIRST FIGHT. PROBABLY DIDN'T REALISE IT AT THE TIME. OUL FRANK BRUNO I ADMIRED HIM 🇮🇪
I don't know about you but I was burn in 70s and when I was growing up I was always up for 1on1 and back in my days frank wasn't the most gifted boxer but he had the bang the charisma the passion and he was a people person that's what made him a champion 🏆❤
I don't agree with your judgement on the Lewis v Bruno fight, Lewis arguably won rounds 1, 4 & 6, it was a close fight with Bruno maybe just edging it slightly going into Round 7, your coverage showed awful bias towards Bruno, who didn't have the better jab at all, Lewis obviously went for the knockout early & neglected to use his jab, whereas Bruno got off to the faster start & made better use of his jab but was practically a one eyed fighter by the start of Round 7 & it was just a matter of time before Lewis caught up with him, there was nothing lucky about Lewis' victory at all.
Bouno i think didn't know how to finish off someone he got the best of lenox for a while and hurt him a few times same with Witherspoons didn't have the best chin and was always later rounds when he got hurt he dropped his hands .
@@liaa4172 I’d be curious to know why you do think so. Bruno was a beautiful specimen in physique, with real punching power. He also seems to be a likable person. The term “legend” is normally applied to someone who has had a truly remarkable career. Rocky Marciano, Salvador Sanchez, Julio Cesar Chavez, Manny Pacquiao, George Foreman, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Roberto Duran, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Henry Armstrong, Tyson, Frazier, Lewis, Klitchko (both)… these are names, among many others, who are often described as legendary fighters. One rarely hears of Mayweather as being “legendary” except in his own mind, or Tommy Morrison, or even the great Larry Holmes, who was vastly under-rated and would have walked through most of today’s heavyweights like a trip to the playground. Bruno was a hard-hitting man able to hurt anyone he hit cleanly. He wasn’t the best boxer and his chin was suspicious. I think his career is quite notable, but doesn’t make “legend” status. I’m not insulting him, you, or anyone else, as all are entitled to their own option. This is just mine.
@@liaa4172 Britain has produced legendary fighters. Ricky Hatton, Nigel Benn, Barry McGuigan, Chris Eubank, Lennox Lewis, Turpin, Fitzimmons, and Calzaghe, among others, come to mind. I think Fury will be considered legendary for a few reasons. I have less confidence in AJ, not as a fighter but as an ambassador of his own legacy. How many people would think Ali was “The greatest” if he wasn’t constantly telling them that? AJ has a tougher road because he faced tougher guys who exposed his game. Fury was more selective and apart from a massive misstep with Ngannou, has performed very well. It may be that Bruno is one day considered a legendary fighter. It’s a noble thing to hope so.
Still admired and loved
Bruno could send your brain into another universe with just his Jab.. Its like being hit in the face by a sledge hammer.
Frank was truly a gentle giant, undoubtedly one of the hardest punches in history, a true BRITISH TREASURE ♥️🇬🇧
Brilliant tribute to Frank
Frank Bruno's body was amazing. F*cking guy looked like an action figure 😮

Bruno was and is so loved in Britain. Great heart and just a lovely guy in and out of the ring (except for those rabbit punches 😂).
