Doctor Who Series 1 & 2 Soundtrack - 26 The Cybermen

The six notes of the Cybermen theme can't really be separated from the clump of their marching in formation. This, as much as teh music, signalled their ominous advance. Nevertheless, those six notes do underscore much of the Cybermen on screen in Tom McCrae's brilliant two-parter. I was always amazed that some people were actually more frightened of the Cybermen than the Daleks themselves. After Series 2, I get it. - Murray Gold
