I'd love the see the un-adapted arcs animated, as a lot of them were really great; but, the actual ending, I know the author was struggling, which is why the series had to end, but the ending we got was such a mess that it might not be worth going that far, unless it's the springboard for a sequel series, to finally resolve things.

You have no idea how much I've been waiting for the full version. Although it doesn't seem to have the same "punch" as the TV version, I don't really know how to put it, but the older version had more emotion. Still, I'll repeat this song for hours.
I think it may be that there isn't much variety in his tone. Not the notes or the sound of his voice, but how it feels. To me, his voice sounds too perfect throughout it. Not that it's a bad thing, it just removes some of the emotion. In the previous version, you could kind of hear Nate's smile while he sang (mainly in the "for you, my dear" part.) (For example) like the vocalist in the Original Aladdin. In this one, he has the same emotion the whole way through, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Tbh it can work really well depending on the song. But for this song it needs to have *something*. Bringing up Aladdin again, this kind of feels like the 2019 actor singing uhhh One Jump. Like I said above, you could just *hear* the smile in the 1991(?) movie, while in 2019, not so much. Not to say that the 2019 actor did a bad job, it just lacked character. Uhh TLDR: There isn't any discernable emotion other than "Ok I'm singing this song", rather than the "Ok, I'm Soul and I'm lowkey singing this about Maka." Still a great cover though! Definitely keeping quarantine fun!!!

Soul Eater was my very first anime that I consciously knew about. I've known this song for over eight years now. One day, when I'm old and ailing, I want this song to be played on my funeral.
