If you roast your pecans ahead of time, as you say at the beginning of the video, won't the un-chopped ones you place on top get over-roasted when you put the tart in the oven? Or are you only pre-roasting the *chopped* pecans that are mixed in with the syrup?

hmm i used 16cm, so I would say just a bit longer - 5mins maybe? i wouldn't know by how much. I need to test it out myself.

i guess you need to grease the tin with butter! yeah just reduce the brown sugar.

Use baking paper... No hassles with tart sticking etc. Or foil
