Part 2. Good video You are explaining different passes in Singapore. I just happened to know PEP and read about it. Some of the passes we may not aware of like TEP and others. Long term pass and Short term pass, there's a word in between term and pass which is visit. So it became LTVP (Long Term Visit Pass) and STVP (Short Term Visit Pass). Regarding invitation to become PR I never heard or come across before. What i know is few of my friend got invitation to become citizens. This invitation is by letter from ICA. Reasons: 1. They are married to local guy. 2. The husband was govt officer. For ladies nornally it's easier to become citizens especially if they have children. National Service in Singapore: Last time those PR after Friday finish or end their NS they were given a choice. To become sg citizen or remain your country origin with PR status. And last time those NS men will be given citizens. It's due to their contribution to Singapore. Nowadays what i heard, its not confirm. After you served army within 2 years. You need to apply for yourself. Foreigners they dont served army. However for PR, 2nd generation (male) need to serve army. Applying citizenship: Its easier for family if they apply it together. However, it's not guaranteed the citizenship will be granted or approved. I hope this helps. ☺️😄😃😊
You should have applied for a PR since the beginning when you were employed in singapore. Being a freelancer, without a stable income, unmarried to a local, not in an industry that is talent starved will put you in an unsavory spot in being accepted as a PR

As I know, 2nd generation need to service NS after 18 years old. If not he PR will be remove. But after he service NS for apply be citizenship very easy
of course NS is mandatory scheme in that regards. what do you mean by exceptional paths? This video only focus on options for those who want to move to singapore and not been able to yet
@jamesl7088 FYI, the first generation of PR does not need service NS, but he/her son needs. E.g. my wife boss from Indonesia is a long-time PR in Singapore, and he son is educated in Singapore, but because of don't want to service NS went to US for education. After back to Indonesia help he father in Indonesia. When he try to apply PR in Singapore, he can't it
If a person has enough money saved, could apply to live there for more years? For example, a person who has 2 million dollars and just wants to live there without working because the person can live off the profitability of this money in investments.
@@TheKrazyKoala It is much easier for foreigners to live in Brazil legally. Singapore is quite challenging to get citizenship but it's not impossible hahaha
