In this video I travelled to Arizona with my friends to enter my jet boat into the world final's of drag boat racing. This is a huge deal for me because I love the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports venue and have made a lot of great memories here but I have not ever won an event at this spot. With all the time, money and work I've been putting into Blasphemi recently, getting to this particular boat race was a challenge and during the first two days of qualifying we struggled hard. Love this sort of content. Doesn't matter if it's boats or cars this is the reality of running at the sharp end as an amateur racer. Stuff goes wrong and the racing community is at it's best when a competitor needs help.

Great to see some more jet boats! I love all the cars but it is nice to see the boats rip as well. Never really been into boat racing until Finnegan introduced me to it with the Muscle Truck engine to jet boat to Muscle Truck swap in a parking lot episode of Roadkill.
If I may suggest one thing: get a lapel mic. Rode makes a clip on unit many people use. With a good cover, it should stop most of the wind noise as well. Many of these video's are shot in loud places, so sometimes it is hard to understand what is being said. Of course, you can't mic up everyone, but maybe for the main people in the shot. Does require a sound clap for every new shot or preferably an actual clapper board (they make small ones) to make life easier for the editor.
Totally awesome 👌. I was given the opportunity 34 years ago to drag race outboard boats, and kinda wish I had. I was too busy with work and 1/4 mile drag racing (ameture). Looking forward to seeing the next video, thanks Mikie 👌👍👍👍

Racing! I’ll bet it’s a blast, but damn does it look expensive! Seems like cleeter is always blowing an engine and installing something new in his cars, and Finn just can’t catch a break with any of his either, crazy!

I get pushing things to the limit and getting as much as you can out of what you are doing... But... Dyno pulls and getting high numbers is all well and good, but if you can't put it down on the road when the time counts and you are put out in the first round or sooner because something "broke"... Well.... There you go.. I love the channel and all you do, so it's entertainment to me. Keep on keeping on!

the nature of racing is that things will break. one of the last times i raced my balancer came apart. i dont race anymore but i do some things in "mexico" every once in a while

They make really cool butt connectors that have solder in them. They were originally designed for the military and used by US Army Combat Engineers and US Navy UDT's in WW2. Now other people have revised the design and made them far cheaper, better and less toxic.

@@davidgoodrich1258 game over was indeed very complicated and needed to be tested over and over and maintained with fine tooth comb. This boat n/a should be pretty easy to maintain he just doesn't have enough time. Can't go race drag boats and not do anything to it in between races
