I like Hidden Window a lot, but something about Valence just hits me on such a personal level, I legitimately cried when I first heard it. I am being serious when I say that the first 2 minutes of that song may have been the greatest experience of my life when I first heard it.

The whole album sounds great my fav song is Hidden Window hands down. The transitions in the songs flow so effortless. Yesterday I was listening to their whole discography just to prepare for this album. All of their albums are great. Their first album is only 40 minutes long and 6 songs.

My favourite tracks are in this order, Valence, Much more was lost and Foothold!
Definitely check out Stone's Reach and Of Breath and Bone.
They are still the top ranked Albums for me, both 10/10.
Coherance gets a 9.5/10 from me, I liked it more than Vessels for sure!

Another phenomenal album, to be expected from them. Locus is my favorite song and probably top 5 be’lakor song for me but the whole album is great. My top 3 from the album would be locus/valence/much more was lost. Anyway good stuff man, always glad to see people listening and bringing attention to be’lakor, one of the most underrated bands in the world. You’re also in for a massive treat listening to their older stuff. Stone’s reach and of breathe and bone are perfect masterpieces and then vessels is amazing too. They never made anything less than very good and most of their stuff ranges from great to masterpiece level.

You talked about solo's in the last song. If you want an emotional solo Inferi - Onslaught of the Covenant! Technical melodic death metal if you havent heard of them you should check them out. Their discography is insane! But that solo from Onslaught of the Covenant is my all time favorite ❤️🤘

Subscribed! I just finished at 3am watching and listening to all of your Be'lakor reactions, plus the interview with Steven. I've been a fan only since this past September when I first heard their song 'Countless Skies' via another reaction channel. I heard that and was immediately hooked.
By the way, unless you've heard all of their albums by now, please react to Countless Skies.
Aside from appreciating your reactions so far, and looking forward to watching more I'm hoping to find another band I like; I have a request for you to react to a band I found via the Be'lakor official facebook page.
They are heavily inspired by Be'lakor as you will see, and hopefully enjoy.
Machiavellian God (band) 1 album 'Divine Flaw' so far, and are working on a 2nd one.
Although I have my favorites from the album I figured perhaps you'd want to start with the short intro, then what comes right after that 'Aeon's Dawn' since they say it's a concept album. The album, as a whole, to me is quite impressive.
Here's to hoping you'll see this comment and will be able to react to them.
    Thank you.

@@BaldHeadedMETAL Better late than never, right? And yes, my favorite of the year as well. It was a toss up with Aphelion by Leprous.
Anyway, I appreciate that you'll do my request, but if you don't want to start at the beginning and want a faster pace, then 'The Ruinous Path to Ascension' would be the one.
Since you've listened to all of Be'lakor's discography (unless there's a reaction coming), can you tell me what you thought of Countless Skies? That is hands down my favorite out of all their albums, so naturally I'm curious what you thought of it.
      Thank you!

Great reaction :) Be'lakor is my fav Melodeath Band, and they are underrated.
All their albums are awesome, but you will hear some difference in the production.
I discovered them around 2010 with the Stone's Reach album, and that have been my fav album, but after listen a lot to them all, I can't really decide anymore :D
One live example here: ua-cam.com/video/mm1ZVsM7hWw/v-deo.html ("Countless Skies" from "Stone's Reach" and "Roots to Sever" from "Vessels"). They here plays "Roots to Sever" in 2015, before it is released, and they use another name on it. But you should listen to Countless Skies, before you check out the Live video thou.

Loving what Be'lakor is doing with their compositions in this album. Really feels unique to them. If you loved this material, there's a much newer melodeath band I found from Spain called Eternal Storm. Jesus Christ are these guys good! Only two albums, but their latest one is phenomenal. They got a lot of variety mixing metalcore, black metal, and melodeath seemlessly.

Unlike you, I really love instrumentals, in fact are the ones I listen most often from this album. Indelible, Hidden Window, Sweep of days and Much more was lost are my favourites. Doesn't top Vessels though, what can you do..when you make a masterpiece, everything else will be compared to that.
