Glad you made a reaction for this one too ! :-) Another criminally underrated band..asa some mentioned already. I thing they have the smoothest transitions from all metal bands, even better that Insomnium from this perspective. The end of this song is one of my favourite metal moments. Thank you ! :-)

Be'lakor have become one of my favorite bands in recent time. It's funny you mention Tool at the end, because I've referred to Be'lakor as the Tool of melodeath, due to their solid progression and smooth transitions.
I'm really looking forward to their new album coming up. I recommend Counties Skies if you want another Be'lakor song to check out.

@@BaldHeadedMETAL Hi please ask them if they make a decent amount of money out of their music/merchandise at all or if its still just mainly a hobby: We all know that Be'lakor is way underrated, but they keep growing and maybe in the future they will be able to be fulltime musicians.

If you get a chance to interview them, can you ask about the Metal scene in Australia? Is it difficult to make a living by playing metal? Touring in Australia? How are records selling? Radio play?

Enjoyed your reactions to both An Embers Arc, which starts the story (of Vessels) as a photon leaves the sun, and The Smoke of Many Fires, which ends the story as the photon leaves its last "Vessel" and returns to the fire. Given your appreciation of Be'lakor I suspect you would enjoy Ne Obliviscaris. Try "And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope" live in Colarado. Subbed

I'm really looking forward to your interview. I'm also from Melbourne and would love to know of any touring plans to support the new album release. It would be interesting to get their take on being musicians in a city that has had virtually no live performances for 18 months.

Embers Arc is a great song but can definitely be for more seasoned Be’lakor listeners. I’m telling you, the two new singles “Hidden Window,” and “Foothold,” are much more in your face without losing the uniqueness to their sound. You gotta check them out!

Hey man, loved your reaction. I would like to comment on your thoughts about the drums. I personally feel the drums in this song are perfect, because it fits the atmosphere of the song so well. Everything is almost ethereal and nails that sense of vastness in space. Just my 2 cents on the matter anyway.

They truly are unique, they took the spot of my favorite band from Tool and thats a amazing feature that before them I couldnt even think someone that was close, maybe Opeth. For now, I recommend that you listen to Countless Skies and... If you really dig that song, a live album reaction from the new album that is going to drop in Oct.19 would be a really good idea.

I look forward to you potentially doing more reactions to Be'lakor. Whether it's the new albums or older albums I don't care, because this is my favourite band ever and whether you do older or newer albums I don't car. By the way if you want another band that sounds like this and also similar to Amon Amarth then check out Obtenebris. They're a French Canadian band that only released one album but all these years later they're coming back. Obtenebris - Dust of Time.
