Maybe, just maybe because their studio albums could never capture the energy and vibes that their "live" performances had. Some bands just sound better live than in the studio.
Just saw the new film/doc 'Fanny: Right to Rock' here in London plus a Q&A with band members (via zoom). Check out the film if you can - even more amazing that this, if you can believe. David Bowie was a huge fan and they played with everyone. How they could be erased from the history of Rock n Roll is crazy. And how is it that they are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I'm a huge fan
What a sound of these girls. Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane), Joan Jett, even Janis Joplin RIP and Jimi Hendrix RIP are back in town. Oh, I have forgotten Suzi Quatro (48 Crashes for you SQ...).
Need to react to Fanny - Last Night I Had A Dream (live). Features renown keyboardist Nickey Barclay and her incredible vocals. (She almost rivals Janis) Nickey wrote most of their original material, She also played with Joe Cocker and others.
That is a great song! All great, Alice killing on drums. I might have picked that one for the guys to do a reaction , but the last Beat Club reaction I saw, got blocked. Love Young & Dumb too.
Never heard of them until I saw a documentary about them on PBS. The sexist music industry of that era really held them back. Too bad, they could really rock! Now in their 70s they have reorganized.
0'30"-0'34" Mmmhh Broccolino at the Door Suzi ! 1'17" Hilarious part already listened ! Really inspired ! 1'41" So this is precious stuff Sir Travis ! Pretty unique ! 1'43"-1'46" Suzi's Awesome ! 1'57" travelling announce mood... Already noticed that bass player is also the singer ! Goood technic ! Great style guys ! Nicko Mc Brain of Maiden played with Pat Travis around 1976 a style that is pretty similar ! Great female musicians ! 4'21" Amico 4'37" 😛 Suzi facial expressions are pure GOLD ah . Whaoo they are Monsters ! The bassist singer slaying it ! 7'48" Totally Agreee ! 7'58" -8'05" Thank you to you Travis ! And Suzi takes breath away
I had never heard of them and they're my age. Unfortunately if they had sexually dressed front woman that just sung they may have made it. They had talent.
She
reaction is awesome... She's feeling it..... Fanny is fantastic
Fanny one of the best unknown bands ever. It has to be said being female they never got the recognition they deserved I am sad to say.
Maybe, just maybe because their studio albums could never capture the energy and vibes that their "live" performances had. Some bands just sound better live than in the studio.
True gems. Pure gold these girls were
If one band that deserve to be in rock hall of fame it's Fanny
I love seeing people get Fannyfied.
just got Fanny Live On Beat-Club '71-'72 CD in the mail. AWESOME

Jean, Bass player and David were lovers for a lil while
It's such a shame that Fanny aren't better known. They put so many bigger bands to shame.
It's a crime they had 5 albums, but are so little known today!!😮
Dammit how did I miss this! I love Fanny ( '70-'73). That's it I'm subscribing.
More, more more, Fanny great music needs playing!!!!!!!
This ladies could rock with the best of them! They need way more recognition!!

I love you guys you have reacted to fanny and muse!!!
Check out some of the songs Fanny did for Beat Club. Highly recommend "blind alley".

@@gregpearson9644 Update: If you haven't already seen it, Beat Club has posted their 1972 performance of Young & Dumb.
@@GenerationXT , that’s cool! Thanks!!!
Recommend 'Place in the Country.' Better guitar riff.
That’s June getting busy on Guitar
Love to see you react to their, Blind Alley or A place in the Country.
These ladies could run circles around all those mid to late 80s poser metal bands that could not even begin to hold a candle to them!
Never heard of them until I saw a documentary about them on PBS. The sexist music industry of that era really held them back. Too bad, they could really rock! Now in their 70s they have reorganized.
Induct Fanny into the rrhof

That is NOT Suzi Quatro on gui-tar That is June Millington.
Gotta love fanny.. their name raised a few eyebrows, especially in the UK. As "Fanny" is slang for a ladies front bottom 😅
They were better received in the UK than they were in the States
I had never heard of them and they're my age. Unfortunately if they had sexually dressed front woman that just sung they may have made it. They had talent.
Yooooo you two great reaction!!!!
Liliac (Lil-EEE-ack) - just released video cover of Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself For Loving You"
Fanny for RRHOF!
You watched the wrong version; the beat club version is the one to watch.
pls react to Shitstorm by Strapping young lad
Yeah, not interested in any inductions into the RnR Hall of Fame until Fanny's in there. It's all BS until they are.
Seen them for long time. A pity you lot have nothing interesting to say.
@JuneMillington they LOVE YOU!!!
