Rinse and repeat in a few months and we have a uroboros. Its best to start with small, effortless habits like, I dunno; "10 push ups every morning to start the day." Then add 10 more push ups and maybe some crunches and more, creating a simple, quick home excercise to build up the habit of "doing something". When I hit the gym again, it felt better, kinda like I knew what I was doing and what I wanted to do. Dieting I still battle with, passing up on beer and soda has been ok, but passing up on my favorite food is a nightmare.
This is way later, but don't be so hard on yourself. Just start whenever because there isn't a rush so take your time. The results come slowly, just work hard to achieve them.
My FBI agent put this on my recommend for a reason. I started to work out "again" and didn't feel to do it today but did anyway. My agent really looks out for me.
A guy once told me " saying you want to get healthier without having a plan or goal is a waste of energy" You gotta have a goal or plan to help push you. Simply working out to be healthier isn't enough, what do you want out of it. For me, I want to become a firefighter and complete my FIRST 5k, but I also want to be muscular.
We made a breakthrough discovery that you mix protein shake and bush light together because bush light makes you lighter and then you rest for 7-8 Business days and yell at Sharon for not letting you get another mower!
I mean he cracks me up because it’s all true. But seriously. He’s in Fargo. 50+ percent of residents live in apartments. With gyms in the building for many of them. Heck my sister was in a building with an indoor pool and a gym. Not that big of a flex in Fargo. Just like him shooting vids at his family lake place. It’s Fargo life.
Killing me! I’m coming back from chopping my thumb and finger off (they’re back on) & I’ve turned into such a sad sack. Stuck on stage 4 chowing down on tots, tater salad and mac n cheese! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 My Pops would put a can of beer in his protein shakes! 🤠

Cashews are money - ESPECIALLY the Whole ones. I'm not sure about their nutritional value, BUT I think I could eat my weight in cashews on the daily!!😀
You can tell by the way he’s talking low carbs and protein shake with some nuts it’s probably keto maybe Atkins. Easiest way people to cut out calories but still make gains is cut/lower carbs.
I got back into it this week (though, I'm still drinking beer, tsk tsk). Started doing 5k runs 4x a week (w/ 50 push ups when done) and now my gooch is sore.
You can still be fit and not be on a strict diet. If you want to loose weight and gain muscle, as long as you're on a calorie deficit and are meeting your macros (amount of carbs, protein, sugars, etc.) then you're good (and you're working out of course). And remember, if you break any diet once or twice then it's not all over forever. You can still continue with that small bump in the road.
Don’t you hate it when a day after working out you feel “sore” in some places and you think “wow I must’ve worked really hard” but really it’s cuz you don’t know how to lift properly
Peanut butter sandwich’s turkey sandwich’s are so healthy for you if on wheat bread and they fill you up also lots of chicken vegetables fruits milk. I don’t get why people just have salads like yeah it’s good for you but also have a peanut butter sandwich or 2

Can’t out train a bad diet. Unless you are Michael Phelps who burns thousands of calories a day or some all time athlete who has an outrageous daily macro count, then best bet is to set one or two days a week and eat Healthy the rest.
Protein shake, beer, or vodka so many decisions but I choose protein shake then have vodka later on the day and repeat whole viscious cycle again LoL 😆😂
I always get back into woeking out and would be consistent if my back didn't get injured every damn time. I use good form, belt when needed, stretch, warm up, etc. Probably just a weak fucking back.

How long do you guys rest between workouts? For me it depends on the workout, but typically 4-5 months.
You are pushing yourself way too hard. This may lead to injury. I'd recommend 12-18 month rests.
You make your gainz while you rest, so just do one really hard workout and then quit forever.
