I've been getting a pretty large amount of requests to do Shovel Knight songs for quite a while. I was wanting to go with a different song to start off with, but since the overwhelming majority of you wanted to hear Strike the Earth!, I figured eh, why not?
Strike the Earth! (Plains of Passage) is just one of several great songs from the Shovel Knight soundtrack by Jake Kaufman (support him! virt.bandcamp...., which has some of the most amazingly composed modern chiptune music around. The game is pretty awesome too! So go play it, if you haven't.

This is probably my favorite cover of Strike the Earth. unlike most other covers, Johnny actually plays the proper high notes. the others (such as Little V) play it at a shorter pitch.
I play GaMetal music during my stream so people can see how amazing these covers are.

If I had to pick any...Final Transmission (BN3), Vs Normal Boss (SF2) and Vs Crimson Dragon (SF3). But there's so much good stuff from both series.
