showing the disassembly and reassembly the 0350, i also give some tips and tricks i've learned in my experience. thanks jdavis882 for the bladeplay remedy!
I've seen some people that have done it and it worked fine for them. On the other hand, I've seen it not work for some people as well. I think it depends a lot on your particular ZT 0350.
Have you ever had trouble getting the smaller screws out? I'm trying to take mine apart and the screws are just spinning the little parts on the other side that they're attached to instead of unscrewing and comeing out. Any advice?
A very very useful video - thanks for doing your bit to help the community.
Awesome! Was worried about taking my new baby apart for some good ol tlc but not so much now. Thanks for the vid helped out tremendously!
Ive used petroleum jelly in a pinch on the torsion bars it stops it from rattling around. Just load it up nice, and your good to go.

Thanks for this vid! It's inevitable that the torsion bar in my 350 will break soon, so this will be super useful.
how do you switch the thumb studs around for lefty user????
Are those metal screw thingymabobbers removable from the factory scales ? I bought some vz grips and can’t get them out and I have to have them
What's a good way to store the knife if you don't want the tortion bar to break again...? Probably in the open position?

If you center the blade closed while everything is loose then tighten it up it comes out perfect.
@shot3gun i dont think so. the detent is pretty weak w/o the torsion bar.
This is exactly what I was looking for, thanks man! Is that the elmax combo blade? I have the zdp-189
what did you clean to get rid of the blade play?
@jdavis882 glad you liked it!
so you can just take the whole zt apart with only the bits in the original blue box ?
If memory serves then yes, all you need is the blue box.
thanks
hmm. well they take a lot of turns to come out (especially if they still have loctite) i'd just keep turning. make sure not to use too much pressure.
I know it's still attached tightly to the other part because I can see it spinning when I turn the screw.
you may have stripped a screw.
Wow that would suck, all I did was turn it.
Need to get you a real driver... that Benchmade is just a cheap on-the-go tool.
