Another suberb "Marie" video! Fun fact: Fort Caroline (now in Jacksonville) was the first European settlement in the contiguous US ...by France in 1564. Then, in 1565, St. Augustine was the first city settled by Spain in 1565. Just think....if the French settlement had been successful, Floridians would now be saying "Bonjour y'all"🥰
I had been to Disneyland several times so when I was in Florida like you, we chose to go to Epcot. And like you, we spent most of the day smiling and impressed that it was so much better than we thought. Thank you for sharing!
I'm so happy you went to my favorite park and that it impacted you so much! I am a fan of yours and EPCOT. I love the idea of celebrating culture and its so cool it celebrates that. It's neat that they brought back the international staff, they were gone during COVID. I'm so glad you heard Voices of Liberty sing, they are absolutely incredible and make me cry every time haha. It's so cute that you ate in France :) Glad they got the bread correct! Though I'm not sure it's that common to eat butter with bread in France, unless I'm mistaken I think it's usually served without it, non? The sentiments you shared at the end are exactly why I love Disney. That feeling and escape from life is really lovely and sometimes necessary. I went to EuroDisney a few years ago for the first time and had an amazing time there too! I loved the Dragon beneath the castle. Enjoy, I hope you have many more fun adventures here to follow :)
What did you think of the France part of the park? I'm not sure if you were able to see the film that plays there, Impressions de France, but that film is so beautiful (even though it's old!). I think they could have done a better job with Italy, but it's cool that France has the Ratattoie ride now!
@Marie, So did you get to chat with any of the staff in the French section of Epcot in your native language? I went to Epcot with my parents when I was 17, which was many years ago, and by then I had been studying French in high school for awhile. We went to the the French section to have lunch and I ordered my meal entirely in French. The waiter asked me how long I had been studying French and I responded, "Pour deux ans". He seemed genuinely surprised and said my accent was very good and more importantly, "I understood every word you said". That made me so happy because that was the first time I ever got to speak French to somebody who was actually from France (the French teachers in my high school were all Cajun from Louisiana except for one who was Quebecois).
I had no idea that Disney World had so many places themed after different countries! That was cool to see. But I think the best part of this video was how excited you were about the baguette!😂
If you can cover the cost... Disney has some really awesome food. Going to Epcot during a festival and picking up little dishes from around the world is a treat.
It is so perfect it doesn't make sense. It is true to the cultures and done in a fun way. They nailed it. But man did I want to see her reaction to _eating_ the baguette! Was it good????
I always loved Epcot. There's that big ball in the front, which is a ride. Then there are several attractions in that general area like The Land and The Living Seas. Then there's a little lake, and the world tour circles the lake. Some of the countries have rides, I think all have foods, and it's just a really cool place to be.
Bonjour Marie, so glad you made it to Disney World. It doesn't matter how old you are, it's a place for everyone. The group singing God Bless America brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for filming that. EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. I was there many years ago with my ex-wife. I remember she got mad at me because I wouldn't wear matching Disney shirts.
The group you saw, Voices Of Liberty some of the members have their own group called Voctave that has become quite successful. Highly recommend listening to their music.
Been to Disneyworld 3 times . Always leave with some good memories . Hope you went on Soaring at Epcot , Best time at Epcot for me was during the Food and Wine festival . Had a sample of the most incredible Lamb Chops ever . Your videos always make me smile .
Great video! Glad you made it to Florida and of course Disney! You are quite right - forget your worries for a bit and have fun. Happy to see you enjoyed yourself. I'm sure the margaritas were tasty on such a hot day! Creme Brûlée?? Yes please! Can't wait to see what comes next! 🐊🐺 :0)
EXCELLENT editing for this one Marie! I like the combination of reflective narration along with real time reactions while you're there. That place really is stunning - it shocks everyone, and the child-like joy is abundant for so many. But you didn't go in the Epcot ball? You could easily spend 3 days there and not feel bored. The magic is real.
Bonjour Marie! I am glad that you had such a wonderful experience at Epcot. I am sorry that you haven't felt...happy...much lately, and I'm glad that you were able to "disconnect" and just enjoy your day. How is your health? I know you had some issues last year and I'm hoping that you are doing very well. Did you speak French to the workers in the France and Canada location? Japanese to workers in the Japan location? Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, and please be well and happy. Bonne Santé! ~Be Blessed
I did have a good conversation with our waiter during our dinner in France! And I try to order in Japanese some sushis but I was very nervous 😭 I was still able to speak a few words with the person selling the sushi, it was nice 😊
I didn't realize each country had staff working there from each respective country. That is very impressive! Kudos to Disney for making that possible. Glad you had a magical time there. Bon weekend! 🍻✈️🌎🇺🇸🎆
You had a good time. The fact that the whole day was full of surprises is what made it special. I was having a very bad day and watched your joy, it brightened my spirits
I can remember being there 2 times as a kid in my 56 years. Have a Mickey Mouse hat to prove it. Even got my name on the back of it. If I remember correctly I even got an EPCOT coloring book.
Wonderful video! Took my wife there as a surprise for her birthday in November 2019 for our very first visit. It was spectacular! Don't think we'll ever be able to afford to go back, would do it in a heartbeat if we could. As you so vividly showed, you can remove yourself from the real world there, immerse yourself in its splendor. Very happy you experienced it for yourself!
Epcot was my personal favorite park when we took my young children there. Much has changed since then but I fully believe the whole place is educational worthy and a memorable, amazing experience. So very glad you went there too and enjoyed your day! Love❤
the US has created a human zoo. we collected human specimens from all over the world and recreated their home land so we could view and study them in their natural habitat . lol , we should add Marie to the french exhibit.
Disney likes to do that by basically making you forget about your troubles for at least a day. You just have fun and forget your worries. Disneyland Paris actually has fallen on the scale of theme parks because its line system isn’t working and the rides just aren’t working as planned. It’s not the worst as Hong Kong has that title due to its small space and not exactly nice attractions. The best is actually Tokyo as it’s designed for huge crowds and is very efficient at getting things done. Two other theme parks within France are actually ahead of Disneyland Paris as they provide more and are much nicer. Orlando is more than the theme parks and the tourists. Go down to winter park to where the locals eat, check out downtown and it’s nightlife, go to lake Eola and enjoy the walk, go do the historic tour and understand the history of the city as it’s pretty crazy. There is a lot to discover here you just scratched the surface of possibilities.
I love Epcot and live only a short drive from there. I mostly enjoy the Food and Wine Festival. I will usually ask the staff from the different countries what their likes and dislikes are about Florida. Nice video:) FYI, I have a Disney playlist:)
My aunt was a bus driver at the Disney parks for almost twenty years so she knew every road in and around the parks. We could see at least two fireworks shows a night when we visited because she knew how to get from one park to the other in just a few minutes. I was a kid living in Florida when Epcot opened and we went the first year. It's been my favorite Disney park ever since. The World Showcase and the laser and fireworks show around the lagoon is always a highlight. So nice seeing other people experience it for the first time.
Looks like you had such a wonderful time. So happy that you like it here in the U.S. I hope you are able to come back this year to visit us. Loved this video and looking forward to the next one. You are awesome.
Hi Marie. I hope you enjoyed the experience of the park. If you didn't have time to see it all you get the chance to come Back and see the rest. Thank you for sharing your travels. Can't wait for the next episode.
I am new to your channel and found you through suggested videos because you began your trip to America staying very close to where I live. My son lives in West Virginia, and Ive lived in Northern Virginia my whole life. Im about 25 minutes from Dulles International Airport. It was amazing seeing you experience the states through experiences Ive had and enjoyed my whole life like The beautiful Smithsonian museums, Air and Space museum, the stunning Appalachian trail, The potomac river in the fall with all of the colors, Blackwater falls etc. Now to see you in one of my favorite places which is Disney World and Epcot. Im really enjoying your content and channel and you have such a lovely personality and spirit! I am 54 and a mom of three adult kids and I enjoy Disney World so much more as an adult where I can really slow down and take everything it has to offer in. My friends that love it too, we all call it The DISNEY BUBBLE when we visit because you really do just lose yourself when you are there. The problems in life and the world slip away because they do such an amazing job surrounding you with beautiful experiences and people. I love seeing young people go out and travel and see the world! Really great videos, keep up the amazing work and travels and if you are ever back in the Virginia area would love to give you some more ideas on amazing places to visit in this beautiful state I get to call home! Safe travels!!
Neat to see the finished Ratatouille area & ride in Epcot! When I visited a few years ago that ride was still under construction so most of the France area was closed at that time. I had the experience of first visiting Disney World as a kid then later visiting Disneyland Paris so it was surprising for me to see a smaller sized Disney park after having experienced Disney World. 🙂
I live in Tampa Bay and have been to Disney many times. All the parks, but especially Epcot, are as magical the 10th time as they were the first. I’m really glad you enjoyed your visit.
Just discovered your channel and have watched many of your videos. Keep up the great work and welcome to the USA, again, whenever you return. Thanks for the Normandy video (never been) and this one (haven't been there in years but it's a nice visit when you're in Orlando.
I went there in 1978, I was 8 years old. Haven't been there since. Most of the stuff you are showing wasn't there when I went. They hadn't even started to build Epcot center.
3:48 The characters are only out for about 15 minutes. When they go back inside there's cool water spraying on them as soon as they take off the costume.
Another great adventure! I’m sure August would have been hot & humid. March would have been nicer. Funny story, my first time in Orlando was for a computer show. My dad & I went to that and we dropped my mom and sister at Disney World the 2 days. I’ve never made it back to the amusement park but I did finally visit Epcot. Did you ride in the dome? It chronicles human history and ends with a future prediction and showed me at a breakfast table with a future wife. So far it hasn’t happened…. :)
What are you but the biggest kid I know .I knew you'd love anything Disney but the heat . I've been trying to adopt you since you started the channel. Your the best representation of French nobility there is . Our little princess on an adventure .is what saw !!!
Wow, wow, WOWW !!! This was an amazing video! Thank you for that !! Now... this "mature" Californian has item One on his bucket list.... to go SEE that place!!! And I always thought the original Disneyland, which my family first visited in it's first couple years, back in the late '50s, was the absolute most Wonderful Place on Earth !!! Correction !!
I still haven't been there. I've been wanting to go since I was a kid and saw a Disney World commercial saying it covered as much area as San Francisco. A San Francisco sized Disneyland sounded really cool. Of course its a lot more than just a big Disneyland, which is better.
Many annual pass holders go to Epcot to "drink their way around the world" in the evening. I am not a big Disney fan (I grew up here & it's way too expensive to go regularly), but it was nice to see your enjoyment of the park. I am truly curious to hear your opinion about the food.
Epcot has evolved considerably from its beginnings... The original concept when it opened was "EPCOT Center", with "EPCOT" being an acronym for "Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow"... a vision of what a more livable place a city could be in the future. Since that time, they dropped the acronym, making it just "Epcot", and it transformed into the multicultural immersion experience you enjoyed visiting. I think that was a brilliant move, because all "Cities of the future" that people have tried to portray over the years were always such unrealistic "pie in the sky" concepts that they would nearly always disappoint when that future actually arrived, and would need to be constantly "re-futureized". The new concept is not only more sustainable, but it sounds like it's far more interesting for someone looking for a more in-depth entertainment experience (which, I suspect you are!). Staffing the various "countries" within it with natives (or at least native speakers) of that region was a great idea, to make the immersion in the culture represented feel far more real. It looks like you had an amazing time, and should I find myself in Florida again (it's been over 15 years ago!), it sounds like a place I'd also enjoy.
Yeah!!! So Amazing Marie 😄 🎢 🌴 Your never too old to be Young & enchanted by' the Magic of Possibilitys' What's better than immersing yourself in a underwater world , can you believe it's one of the largest Aquarium's. It's nice to be back with Nemo 🐠 with his friends & that the Mantees are recovering having the best of care. The sea horses are adorable & the Stingray's ( they train them) cooly enigmatic , I like how you can be completely surrounded from the circular window , if your a certified scuba 🤿 diver you can get to swim with over 2000 sea animals 😯 including playing with the 🐬 dolphins. It does look like you can learn a lot there about marine life , just ask Bruce the toothy shark. It's great how they've recreated the various countries , what a good idea having foreign hosts especially for Americans who want to strike up a conversation & familiarise themselves with the culture before travelling. The Traditional Japanese gardens 🎎 looked authentic , I liked the rocky features , who's the fearsome birdman , probably a mythical religious figure? . It's tasty that you can pick up some imported snacks to , ain't kit kat bars 🍫 big in Japan with 100's of regional & weird flavours. Paris 🗼 was like a fantasy home away from home but more cleaner & safer , your probably happier there than the real place , the crème brulé was delish , ha the 🥖 passed your texture test. The German town had a more fairly tale feel with St George slaying the 🐲 dragon , the miniature houses with the trains were delightful , the clock tower chimes a special melody on the hour , you could have joined in with folk dancing , how's your yodelling. The shop prices were outrageous , looks like it's more the Disney stuff rather than anything else , it would be cool having a black forest cuckoo clock & of course they've got 🍻 stein souvenirs to. Did you notice some hidden Mickey's on the crown of the 3 suits of armour up on the building , there was another iron work one holding the hanging baskets near the 🐻 shop. Finally when it comes to the Italian experience I liked the bell tower that's based on St mark's , it's covered with a real gold leaf 🍂 that's up high , the Fontana de Nettuno ⛲ inspired by Bernini's Neptune fountain along with the Palace & the rest of the pavilion & it's 🌲 looked wonderful , if you go right off the lobby of Tutto ltalia there's the Gusto 🍷cellar where you can try foods from all over Italy like various 🧀 , panini sandwiches , pastas & seafood. Your 🍕 I bet it was yummy if it was cooked in one of the massive stone ovens. All the lands they showcased ( we can't forget Canada 🏞️ 🐻 eh ) were impressive. It was uplifting hearing God bless America , my heart soared , it was just like Philadelphia hall , I've haven't seen the animatronic President's yet , I'm guessing you weren't allowed to film & it being time consuming. It's a good thing that there's youngsters learning all about the founding fathers & the Lincoln address now more than ever. Did you notice the beautiful Oak 🌳 in the centre , it's been used to grow 500 more trees. I've been surprised by how many flowers & shrubs they've grown throughout the parks that's in the millions , not to mention all the fresh produce (30 tons/year) from the greenhouses. 🍒 When Walt founded Epcot 🌐 it wasn't supposed to be a theme park but an actual city to work & live in showcasing exploration , science & technology in harmony with nature leading the way for other cities to follow , America really dreamed big back then. When the popular space mountain opened in 75 real astronauts attended. The great sphere stays dry when it rains , it flows down filling up the fountains. It does look sensational lit up at night among the fireworks , hopefully you got some great 📸 , it didn't seem to be that hot , the waterfall was splendid & anyway if you did want a shower there's always the lamppost from singing in the rain to 💃 too. You'll made the best of it exploring all the attractions & rides you could , it's pretty vast so if you do return your need more than a weekday I don't want you missing out on splash mountain , the jungle cruise , haunted hotel , toy shop 3D & tomorrow lands Speedway , I dunno know about the rock 'n roll coaster that blasts out aerosmith , maybe your skip it , I think star wars millennialism falcon smugglers run is still going , the guy who does the voice over was also Winnie the pooh. I'm glad you'll had a good time , you always brighten my day with a smile. Merci beaucoup , Have a Fantastic week Marie 🧑🧡🌟✌️
My family ate at the Italian restaurant and I had boars meal. So good. Yes some kids have rough times there. But ain't it amazing. Still wish it had better imagineers though. Well next stop for you is Disney Paris.
Oh Lord..the pleasure you experienced! No matter your age...this is the land of magic! So happy for you that you enjoyed this umspoiled world of childhood bliss! Have you not been to the Disneyworld in Paris?
I've been to both the Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland Paris, and I have to say I prefer the one in Paris! The colors are softer; there are more pastels and it just seems more beautiful and less garish. Also, the rides were better, although I heard they dismantled the wonderful Jules Verne-themed Space Mountain coaster they had. But you should totally go sometime and make a video! @@FrenchTasticExplorations
Yes, Disney parks are for adults as well as kids! No place or company is perfect, but these parks are 99% clean, positive, and family-friendly. Rollercoasters and rides are really only one part of the appeal. If you bring a positive mindset there is so much to enjoy - the creativity and artistry of the park itself, stories and shows, food, shopping, etc. “To all that come to this happy place, welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America...with hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.” -Walt Disney, Disneyland opening day 1955
I see that you were there in August I hope the heat and humidity were not totally unbearable I'm a Florida native and it can be rough for those that aren't used to it
That is what Walt Disney wanted. The customer to be transported to a better world. Glad you got to experience it Marie

I'd day it depends on the restaurant, but butter and bread are commonly served together 😊

I always say to my husband, let's go to the adult park for the day (we love 20 mins from WDW). Epcot is really catered towards us adults 😊
EPCOT A magic world in this beautiful and great video.Thank's...
Bonjour Marie, so glad you made it to Disney World. It doesn't matter how old you are, it's a place for everyone.

EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.
I was there many years ago with my ex-wife. I remember she got mad at me because I wouldn't wear matching Disney shirts.
my grandmother went to Disneyland at 67, she thought it was going to be a wasted day, loved it, went back 3 more times
My favorite thing at Epcot is the mariachi band in "Mexico."
So happy to see you back again Marie! Please enjoy and come back often!
The group you saw, Voices Of Liberty some of the members have their own group called Voctave that has become quite successful. Highly recommend listening to their music.

@bigron725, did you get the lamb chops in Morocco?
@@alaneverett6096 this was in 2011 . I think it was . I know it wasn't Australia . I just know I could have gone back again and again .
Hello Marie, thanks for sharing with us,very nice
I was there twice in the eighties. Both times, Epcot was the place for me!!
That looked amazing. I am so happy you got to experience Disney.
Thanks for taking us Marie..glad you had fun..
I did not know that the various countries represented had the native language speakers. That is actually a surprise. Well done video. 🇺🇸🇫🇷🐠🦈⛲️
Excellent video as always.
Glad you enjoyed yourself. That was an awesome video. Thank you. Can't wait for the next one. Stay well and warm.
The Mario music when you showed the fish took me back 15 years
our mom took my twin brother and I,to the grand opening of Disney World 🌎 in 1971 ....we were 5

I have to say Disneyworld and Disneyland really do make you feel so happy in ways. Wishing every day could be that way.
Wishing we Humans could even come 1/100th of the way on that journey. Reality can really wear you down!
You smiling is why we love to love you. Thank you for sharing your enjoyable time with us!

Our family loves Epcot. I'm a foodie and Epcot has so much to offer! Glad you had a great day and it didn't rain!
So glad you enjoyed it. It trully is a magical place.
I'm glad they brought Figment back. Last time I went, they had just launched him, many many years ago, back in the early 80s....
Great video

Disney World has a special place in my heart as I've had so many happy memories there. I am so glad you enjoyed it! It truly is MAGICAL!!!
Excellent video Marie. Proof that sometimes even a tourist trap can surprise you. Looks like you had a very fun day.
America is everyone :) SO glad you had fun!
I’ve been waiting all week to see your reaction to Epcot’s recreation of your motherland. Glad you liked it.
Amazing! Thank you for sharing and so happy you had such a great time.

Always great production Marie. Glad you had fun!
Epcot was always my favorite of the parks.

Back and see the rest. Thank you for sharing your travels. Can't wait for the next episode.
I enjoyed this so much. I didn't even have to fly across the Atlantic!
Thank you!! ☺️😊
So glad you got to experience and enjoy Epcot in Florida. 😊
We used to call Walt Disney Saint Walt, the patron saint of happiness.
It was so good watching you enjoying the sights. Great video edit Marie!
I’m glad you enjoyed yourself. You were very brave for going to Florida in the hottest month of August! Us northerners visit in the winter. :-)
Heureux que vous avez passez un bonne moment!
Epcot is so much fun. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. How did the French food compare to what you'd get at home?
Exactly the same!
@@FrenchTasticExplorations, France is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm in Epcot. Which one of the restaurants in France did you eat at?
Just discovered your channel and have watched many of your videos. Keep up the great work and welcome to the USA, again, whenever you return. Thanks for the Normandy video (never been) and this one (haven't been there in years but it's a nice visit when you're in Orlando.
Years ago, my wife and I were at Disney World for 8 days and 7 nights, and we still couldn't see everything! 😄
4:17 Lol, that’s like an alternate reality version of something you see everyday in France. 😂
I enjoyed Epcot more than the Magic Kingdom. Loved the video. Liked and commented
Disney is a magic place for sure. I've only been to Disney land in Anaheim and world in Orlando. Can't speak of the others.
i’ve only been to disneyland but this video makes me wanna go back! hopefully one day i can go to disney world
It looks like you picked a good day. It does not look like it was oppressively hot that day. Glad you had a great time
What are you but
the biggest kid I know .I knew you'd love anything Disney but the heat .
I've been trying to adopt you since you started the channel.
Your the best representation of French nobility there is .
Our little princess on an adventure .is what saw !!!
Disney, the happiest place on earth ‼🤗🎆
I heard EPCOT stands for Every Person Comes Out Tired😊
Wow, wow, WOWW !!! This was an amazing video! Thank you for that !! Now... this "mature" Californian has item One on his bucket list.... to go SEE that place!!! And I always thought the original Disneyland, which my family first visited in it's first couple years, back in the late '50s, was the absolute most Wonderful Place on Earth !!! Correction !!
I went to EPCOT years ago. It was actually a lot of fun. I’m sure there have been lots of changes since I was there.
Huge fan of Epcot!
Epcot has the best ice cream in the France pavilion in all of Disney World.
Water water and when you think you’ve drank enough, drink more water 👍🇺🇸
Yeah!!! So Amazing Marie 😄 🎢 🌴
Your never too old to be Young & enchanted by' the Magic of Possibilitys'
What's better than immersing yourself in a underwater world , can you believe it's one of the largest Aquarium's.
When Walt founded Epcot 🌐 it wasn't supposed to be a theme park but an actual city to work & live in showcasing exploration , science & technology in harmony with nature leading the way for other cities to follow , America really dreamed big back then.
Two thumbs up, kid. 👍👍
My family ate at the Italian restaurant and I had boars meal. So good. Yes some kids have rough times there. But ain't it amazing. Still wish it had better imagineers though. Well next stop for you is Disney Paris.
Epcot is my favorite theme park and I also like wild animal kingdom ❤🇺🇸🙏🏻👍🏻
Oh Lord..the pleasure you experienced! No matter your age...this is the land of magic! So happy for you that you enjoyed this umspoiled world of childhood bliss! Have you not been to the Disneyworld in Paris?
I've never been to the one in Paris 🇫🇷
I've been to both the Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland Paris, and I have to say I prefer the one in Paris! The colors are softer; there are more pastels and it just seems more beautiful and less garish. Also, the rides were better, although I heard they dismantled the wonderful Jules Verne-themed Space Mountain coaster they had. But you should totally go sometime and make a video! @@FrenchTasticExplorations
Great reaction video.
Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America...with hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.”
-Walt Disney, Disneyland opening day 1955
I see that you were there in August I hope the heat and humidity were not totally unbearable I'm a Florida native and it can be rough for those that aren't used to it
Epcot is our favorite park
