Another tip: If you ever have the opportunity to enter Animal Kingdom before sunrise, do it! I got to do this once. Pandora was still lit up and by the time we got off Flight of Passage, the sun was rising and the views were stunning! Also, hit the safari and walking trails first thing after Pandora. They usually start feeding after sunrise and the animals are out in full force! Thanks for another great and helpful video guys!
We love your ways of making things easier🙏. Can you please make some sort of list so my family and I know what to do first like a scratch list.😅 please and thank you for what you do.
Especially enjoyed the music during the Everest portion 😊 Very happy that AK has Extended Evening Hours on the Wednesday of our next stay, which is Christmas Day. We’ve experienced Pandora at night but have never ridden Everest after dark. Also looking forward to the Diwali lights. Thanks guys for another great video!
Hey there! Wondering if you and Eric will do a LL vs no LL challenge? I'm interested to see how much of a difference LL makes on a slower day. Thanks for all the info!
Thank you so much for this! With two littles I prefer one park per day like you showed in this video. This video makes me feel relaxed (and excited) for my upcoming trip in 18 days. I so hope I run into you and Erick!
Thanks for such thorough and informative videos, Rob! I was waiting for park-specific LLMP videos for our January trip, our older kids are going for the first time (ages 14, 12, 11, 9) so we aren't hopping. I've seen how great LLMP is for hopping though, so we will likely do it on future trips!
Thanks for watching, Hilary! While it is great for hopping, I find using the system to be way less stressful when you stick to one park per day, so it’s the perfect way to get familiar with how it all works.
Thanks, as always, for helping us understand the latest system. It was such a joy and pleasure to run into you later in the day. We appreciate all you do!
Hey Mr. Ear Scout, thank you very much for this very useful video. We will come on Saturday to Orlando for 10 days, from Germany, and we have a six day hopper pass. This is not the first time to be in the park but first time with lightning lane. I tried already to get some information about it, but your video is perfect to understand the idea behind it. We will stay all 10 days in the Disney Music hotel and we are really looking forward to it and after listening your video, we will start with Animal Kingdom. My daughter has worked for one year in Epcot Center in Germany 🙂 of World Showcase and the rest of the family is really Disney crazy. First day I was there in 1980, Honeymoon. Epcot was under construction and only Magic Kingdom was working. Now I`m 66 and still love Mickey. Last comment, your english is very good to understand for foreigners, some kind of queens English 😀. Very good for not native speaker. Looking forward to see your tour from the other parks. Peter
Thank you for this video! Can’t wait to see your other park videos like this. We leave for our first Disney World trip in November and have park hopping but this day looked so calm and fun!
We looove your to the point videos. Mostly just the facts. Love it! On that note, have you 2 thought about doing the same for IOA and Universal Studios? Also, how to utilize the Hogwarts express to your advantage? And the hotels and how the different experiences work with them. Including staying with pets in both Universal and Disney hotels. We would love to see you guys address those things. Just a suggestion. You are our go to channel. Thanks for being so helpful in every video. Great work as always!!!
Thanks for another great video, Rob! We met you in Asia last Sunday, and we were excited that this was an AK video. You made my family's week. 🙂 Thanks again for your amazing content!
Absolutely love your videos and I ALWAYS recommend them! I've been watching since genie came out and it has been a HUGE help over the years. I hope you do a magic Kingdom only and Hollywood only videos for multi pass! We leave Nov 18th! 🤞🤞🤞🤞
Thank you! I’ve been waiting for a video like this for awhile. Most LL videos are just how to get as many rides as you can. This is the way I’m hoping to use multi pass.
These videos are so beyond helpful. We are planning on a trip in 2026 (fingers crossed) and I feel so prepared and that we'll get to do so much great stuff thanks to you!
Hi Rob Were going to Animal Kingdom in Jan and staying off property, we will be waiting in line to get into the park at 8am, what 3 rides do you recommend for Lightning lane with a 4 year old? (also wife is expecting so cant do Everest lol) Also love how you pronounced Naan/Roti with the correct Indian accent 🤣, Stamp of approval from an Indian fan 👍
I recommend a Lightning Lane for the Nemo show at Animal Kingdom, because the Standby line is in the hot sun while the Lightning Lane line is on the shaded side of the building.
When booking multi pass 7 or 3 days out, can two people be booking for you group at the same time? For example, can i be booking MK and my husband be booking Epcot, so we can get two parks booked as early as we can? Or do we need to go day by day? I was pretty good at Genie plus.
Hi Heather! Yes - you can definitely book different days simultaneously. If you felt confident using Genie Plus, you’ll be comfortable using this very quickly. There are a lot of similarities. Thanks for watching! 😃
We are going to be at WDW Thanksgiving week. We will do an entire day in each park. Will most attractions and shows-even at AK-require lightning lanes at that time?
Thanks so much for this video, it has been so helpful. We are spending our first park day 11/27 starting in Animal Kingdom and park hopping to Hollywood Studios around 3pm. We are planning on purchasing multipass, but will also be part of a group using DAS at Animal Kingdom (they aren't joining us during our park hop to Hollywood). To talk strategy, should we use our pre-book Mulitpass LLs for Hollywood only? We don't really need them for AK if we're using the DAS system, right? Any advice would be so appreciated.
Hello! That sounds like a super fun day. Even though you don’t “need” Lightning Lanes in Animal Kingdom, you do need to unlock the ability to book multiple Tier One attractions in Studios. I’d suggest starting in AK and book something right when the park opens. It’s Tough to Be a Bug is usually available really early without a lot of effort. As soon as you arrive, tap in and then book your three Tier 1 attractions in Studios. You can modify your other two AK LLs to be Studios rides. Also, I wouldn’t recommend spending your rope drop time watching Tough to be a Bug - you could watch it later if you really wanted, but that early time is best for getting short waits on rides. Just tap in and unlock. Hope that helps!
When we were there in summer we did your, go in line just before park closes, tip. I told my family "no worries, it says 45 minutes but it will not take that long" unfortunatley I think the ride got down several times so we waited even more than the posted 45 minutes 😂 And when we came out a thunderstrom was going on. So we were completely soaked when we arrived at the car.😩
You can book another Lightning Lane as soon as you use one, so you are not limited to those initial three. But once you have used the Lightning Lane once for each attraction in the park, you cannot book them again so you would need to visit another park to continue booking more attractions in that same day.
Hi! So we are staying at the Signia Hilton hotel which is an official Disney hotel. Last time we were given early entry. Do you know if we will be able to book 7 days in advance too? We were able to book our restaurants 60 days out. So I’m assuming yes since we got the other benefits.
Hello! Unfortunately, it is my understanding that this particular benefit is reserved for Disney operated hotels along with Swan, Dolphin and Shades of Green. Please let us know if you are able to book early and we’ll update our guides. Hope you have an amazing vacation either way. Thanks for watching! 😃

That sounds so beautiful. I’ve never seen sunrise in Pandora, but I bet it’s incredible.
The hippo shot was so special!
We love your ways of making things easier🙏.
Can you please make some sort of list so my family and I know what to do first like a scratch list.😅 please and thank you for what you do.
I love walking upon Disney Magic like Kevin dancing in the streets. So fun!
The hippo underwater shot was magic. Love Animal Kingdom.
Pretty sure Erick got that one. It was such a fun day at AK.
LOVE the pace of this day… enjoying and not staring at the phone much. Thanks for a great video!
We had a great time. The new service really shines in AK, especially when you’re not hopping. Thanks for watching! 😃
Especially enjoyed the music during the Everest portion 😊 Very happy that AK has Extended Evening Hours on the Wednesday of our next stay, which is Christmas Day. Thank YOU, Bob! I hope we get to see you while you’re here. We very much appreciate all your support for our channel. 😃
Thank you, Rob! Your Disney instructional videos are the best out there. Nice to see Erick too
Best way ever to start the week!
Thanks so much, Brian! We really appreciate your support. 😊

Yay, Lightning Lane videos are coming! :) Thanks for sharing the planning, I really enjoy following your thinking process..
Thanks for watching, Timea! Hope you enjoy this new series. 🙂

Thanks for saying hello! So glad you enjoyed the video. 😃
I love watching your videos. We'll be there soon. Happy for this series. Thank you!
Thanks for watching! 😃
Awesome tips! Thank you ❤
So excited for this series, thank you 😁
Us too! Next stop: Epcot… 😃 Thanks for watching!

Perfect, we are going to animal kingdom today (last day of vacation)
Hope you’re having an amazing day! 😀

Love your shirt Rob!

I love Erick’s style 😂. He’s like, Kali RR without flip flops is a firm no from me.
😂 - to be fair, he’s always looking for an excuse to give a firm no to a water ride. They’re not his favorites. 🤣
These videos are so beyond helpful. We are planning on a trip in 2026 (fingers crossed) and I feel so prepared and that we'll get to do so much great stuff thanks to you!
Your videos are always so informative! Thank you!!
Thank YOU for watching and leaving us this lovely comment. 😊
Great video! I wish Epcot wasn’t tiered. It’s crazy that you’re only usually able to get onto one high demand Tier 1 ride with the new system.
Would love to see a remake of the perfect park hopping experience AK to EPCOT with LL!
We may do that at some point. Thanks for the suggestion! 👍

Hey! I saw your band holder! Where did you get it from?
Can you make a video like this for Hollywood studios please?🙏
I recommend a Lightning Lane for the Nemo show at Animal Kingdom, because the Standby line is in the hot sun while the Lightning Lane line is on the shaded side of the building.

@ TY!!!! I appreciate your videos and the screenshots showing how to use the app is so helpful!

Oh no!!! I’m glad you were able to ride, though. Sorry that tip didn’t work out so well for you that night. 😕
Question, once you finish your 3 picks for the day, do you get more picks from the lightning lane pass if only staying at 1 Park?
You can book another Lightning Lane as soon as you use one, so you are not limited to those initial three. But once you have used the Lightning Lane once for each attraction in the park, you cannot book them again so you would need to visit another park to continue booking more attractions in that same day.

Your Disney joy is infectious! Thanks for such an informative and fun video.
I’m going to miss Dinosaur and Primeval Whirl. 😢
