The point of this was for the two bands to show their love and respect for each other and show the fans some love with the collab. Win-win for everyone.
actually, Kanami wrote the song, and she said in an interview that she wrote it with The Warning in mind so she could find the right blend between the 2 groups. i think she did a great job!!!
I knew it! It totally sounds like the warning had very little (if any) input and they were merely playing a band maid song. It’s not terribly but kind of meh to be honest. Too poppy for my taste.
@@madmex123Kanami wrote the initial demo but Dany and Pau were very involved in working on the song after that. According to their own words Dany with the chord progression and Pau with the vocal melody specifically and other unspecified things to add their own color. Miku and Pau worked jointly on the lyrics. I’m sorry if you find it to poppy but it does seem that both groups were very involved in the writing.
@@davidpinney4091 it certainly doesn’t sound like a the warning song. I’m not very familiar with Band Maid’s music, but I’ve heard some fans saying it doesn’t sound like Band Maid’s either. Either way, a very forgettable song.
@@madmex123 As a fan of both bands I can definitely say that it doesn’t sound like what either band usually does. I’m guessing that they were going for something that wasn’t overly reminiscent of either sound. As far as the writing, that’s what they said in the interview from billboard that was just released so I’m going to take their word for it.

Was lucky enough to be at their joint concert in Tokyo where they live debuted this song Also caught the premiere of this video this morning. Nice to get to read the lyrics on this one Really hoping that they release an official live video of this from that concert too!

Main conflict I saw was Ale's tone vs Misa's skill.
Good song. It kinda sounds like a BAND-MAID song with a little The Warning sprinkled on top.
I kinda agree with the dude. Dany isn't much of a soloist, she's a rif master. But Pau and Ale could have shined brighter, (ha) in my opinion.
