Hey just wanna give you all a tip that’s really helped me and my friend! Make a feng shui room!!! Look it up if you don’t know what it is but it’s basically yellow items to the left, red items to the right and green items at the bottom and it gives you good luck. It’s been a concept in all animal crossing games and it definitely works for me. I had the worst luck with islands like literally the worst - went to 14 islands and nothing. But after doing the feng shui room in one day I had a hybrid flower island, 2 money rock islands and a rare fish island so yeah It defo works

I ended up getting the "shark island" at the start of the game! I caught all i could carry, (I only had the smallest inventory) and got 150k bells from it! I ended up throwing Hammerhead sharks away and just catching Great Whites and Sunfish, to maximize my income. I think it's awesome that these types of thing exist in the game!
hmm ok you said at the start of the game...so are you on northern or southern hemisphere? when southern was it in march or april because sharks could be cought till march 30th on southern hemisphere regularly

Also how do you feel about changing time of day like day someone is never free at a certain time shouldn’t they be allowed to experience the whole game? Bamboo island is actually perfect for farming tarantula, clear the island from rocks, trees, plants, and flowers and you'll get infinite tarantulas. Note: make sure to scare the bugs that are sitting on the rocks next to the beach so the tarantula would spawn much faster!
Tip: when you get a fruit island instead of taking the fruits themselves, eat one and dig up the whole tree. That way you don’t have to wait for the tree to grow, you can replant it fully grown.

That island is the bane of my existence I’ve been to it 5 times now and all I’ve got it show for it are diy’s for garbage heap wall and garbage heap flooring.
I had that one too but the Water Bugs that also polluted it did churn out a decent profit. Flick was on my island that day and I made a good 45k. Obviously not the best compared to other islands but not too shabby for an island I originally considered japes.
Bamboo island is fantastic for force spawning tarantulas/scorpions. From 7pm to 4am, Uproot all the bamboo trees, clear all the weeds, pick all the flowers, break all the rocks, and run aimlessly around the island. I filled up an inventory with just tarantulas.
@@jackgeorge4521 I checked over at reddit and apparently the rocks on top of it spawn infinite centipedes if you keep hitting them enough. And it's apparently called Mountain Island!

You don't need to do the spiral maze for the tarantula island, you just make a U-Shape, you also can turn any island you go to into tarantula or scorpion island by breaking all the rocks collecting the weeds, cutting down the trees, picking all the flowers and then getting rid of all the land bugs.
Great video! Please note the first “Spiral Island” contains an abundance of tarantulas. I got lucky and arrived there last night. Chop down and weed everything and place it all on the beach til it looks like a golf course. Smooth green. Last night I harvested 30 tarantulas. Just gotta chase the other bugs out like crazy! Cheers

Alright so I tried it myself and got money rock island once and the spiral island this time - spiral island might not sound like much but I make it a tarantula island
Spiral Island, went there today and found a ton of scorpions. I chopped down all the trees, dug up all the rocks, pulled all the weeds and picked all the flowers. Then the scorpions kept spawning near the center of the spiral. Caught 36 scorpions worth $8,000 a piece. Not bad of a haul for a $2,000 plane ticket. I saved them up and will sell them to Flick for $16,000 a piece. Easy way to make over $500,000 in one trip.
I got my sturgeon on just the regular island! Scared off all the fish in the river then it spawned in the river mouth. I found that was one good thing about the ordinary ones!
You know the Reaction where you clap? I think it’s called Delight? Before you speak to Orville when you go to the airport, use the Delight Reaction to clap for him. Sometimes he claps along with you but keep clapping until you make him blush. THEN talk to him and tell him you wanna fly. This increases your chance of getting a rarer island. It’s not always a guarantee but it DOES help. And if you still can’t get bamboo island, I have five shoots, a recipe or two, and lots of spare bamboo wood I can give you if you want me to send them through the mail. We’d have to friend and best friend each other first to unlock that feature though, if you’re comfortable with that, but you could always unfriend me right after.

Oh, that's like how I caught a Sturgeon completely randomly and didn't realize it was so rare, so I sold it before the museum could come, from that point on I started calling it the one that got away (lucky I did catch another one before the beginning of April)
on pond island, i started fishing in the sea and not the pond and i caught about six or seven red snappers, and for 3,000 bells each, it’s decent for a seemingly worthless island - but it was raining so im not sure if that made a difference or anything:,>
I've cleared the land on spiral island and made off like a bandit there before with bugs. I can get bugs I want on almost any island you just need to clear them and the bugs respawning only a certain type of bugs. Usually I get atlas moths by leaving the coconut trees, cutting down and derooting the tree stumps, breaking rocks, picking up weeds, picking flowers and then picking up the plant itself and relocating all that and empty items to the beach
I never got spiral island ive only seen the common island with a river in middle, my rare fruit island (peach) (pears are my native), and the best island I found is the flat bamboo forest I clear everything out and farm tarantulas
I found shark island completely by accident! I didn’t even know it existed, I just started fishing when I saw dorsal fins and I kept getting sharks. After a while I thought I had broken the game because it was only sharks. Then I looked it up and realized just how rare it was. Luckily, CJ was also on my island that day so I got around 650,000-700,000 bells from that single island. It was wild.
I don’t know if anyone has gotten this island yet but it’s a literal Bell mine. The geography is a square island with no ponds or rivers. It has four right triangles on the side, sort of looks like a picture frame if you look at it from the top. So what’s so special? It has five money rocks and it spawns a massive amount of scorpions, you will get SWARMED, no set up required, but you need a scorpion trap or you’ll get stung from all sides. I got a full inventory of scorpios in less than 20 minutes.
My first island was a tarantula island.... But I didn't know until a friend told me... But I left instantly because I was scared of losing my stuff... After my friend told me... I knew better...
Btw if you want Koi Fish the island at 5:21 has some. I’ve always gone in the day for that island so idk about night time, but usually the big fish in that pond is either Koi or a Black Bass. (If I remember correctly don’t quote me, but Koi pops up quite often)
I kid you not, I got the bell island today, and I was like “Hm.. this island is most likely rare lol” and I walked away from the island with a crazy amount of bells. It was great, but I came to this video to make sure the island was special lol.
Glad you made that point about tools. I was panicking about making sure I had mine but, you are right you can make what you actually need in most cases. I do bring my swimsuit though. Use to bring it in my pockets then I realized it made more sense to wear it and keep mu pockets free and I can dive or whatever.
Bamboo is actually a perfect tarantula island if you can chop down all the bamboo, trees, and break all the rocks. It's perfect because it's a small flat island. I got it one time but I got unlucky because while I was chopping down the bamboo my axe broke and the stupid bunny day eggs took all the wood slots, so bring a spare axe.
i still haven’t got tarantula/scorpion island, rare flower island, shark island or big fish island. but i did get money rock island though! and bamboo island today where i harvested everything and left with 28 scorpions in around an hour and a half
I had been very lucky to get to the scorpion island with money rocks. Not sure if this is a method but i used 2 nook miles at noon around 2 pm (gave 1 usual island and 2nd was rare) and 2 nook miles in the evening 3rd island was usual and the 4th island was where i got to scorpions and money rocks. It was a jackpot! :)
*INHALE* Okay! I’m gonna give you some tips on how to get tons of bells, of course there’s other ways but this is just how I do it. You need tons of miles to go to mystery islands! Go to one and collect all the weeds, chop down as many trees as you can, collect as many bugs and fish as you can as well. If you need materials then only sell the weeds! Also pick flowers, sell those too. I made a spot on my island that is a flower field! The entire section is a giant field, I can pick the flowers and sell them. So yeah, that’s basically what I do. Also the flower island is very pretty when all the flowers are grown. If you use this in a video you don’t have to credit me unless you want too. Have fun paying off debt and stuff like that!
It was really easy so I get Orville to do the joy reaction 10 times and I get to an island completely bombarded by bamboos so I’m glad I’ll have a lot of diys to make from the bamboos so I’m excited plus I’m working to improve my island so then I can get a good rated island and I get kk slider to visit my island which essentially is considered the end of the game technically but I know it’s a game that doesn’t come to an end
Also I got a scorpion island yesterday. I don't know if the turantula island is the same but on the Scorpion island you get 6 money rocks along with it being a Scorpion island which is way cool. The only thing I want to get now is the hybrid flower island which I've yet to ever get yet. I want to make a flower garden with them.
Oh wow I just got the big fish island today didn't realize there was anything else special other than just the big fish i got one oarfish and a red snapper there. If I had known I could have Just fished it all and got tons of money, oh well next time I guess.
dont forget to bring a net and stand infront of the tree and shake it, you can get one furniture item and one wasp (sell the wasp and wasps nest) And on the beaches you will get a DIY bottle on the islands!
I don't know if others will find it as useful but I found an island where everything I fished up was trash. For me it was a gold mine because I have been looking for lots of old tires to make tire stacks with. I was able to fish up a full inventory of old tires in about 30 minutes.
Ive got a big fish island yesterday. Its two waterfall with 3 connected ponds, and only big shadows spawn there(and respawn instantly) i only got 15k fishes with a little bit of basses from that. Made 650k bells from selling those to lomeus.
I have a question- since you can typically only visit any one island once and never return there, does that mean that these islands (such as Tarantula Island, Shark Island, and Bell Island) are only able to be visited once and then you can never visit them again? Or can you end up spawning on another island like that one at a later point? PLEASE let me know!
Froggy , I had everything I needed, I just didn’t know how because there was only one way to get to the middle because the rivers were too big to jump over and there was only one spot it wasn’t. But I didn’t know that.
I visited an island last night that I’m not sure if it would be considered rare or not. It had my native fruit and native flower, but had an abundance of large river fish. After donating each to the museum, I sold the rest of my fish for 144k bells
yeah i found a fruit island with pears on it one time and took alot and a few days later i found cherries but i've only ever found two types of flower tulips and pansies and my books cranny occasionally sells hyacinths
Yesterday I got a money rock island and then a tarantula island straight after. Aside from a bamboo island, it was the first time I’ve ever got rarer islands at all.
You can transform Bamboo Island into a different Tarantula Island. If you cut all the trees and pull the stumps. Break all the rocks and pull all the weeds and flowers off the island, then only certain bugs will spawn. I only get the Tiger Beetle, Warf Roach's and the Tarantula. Was able to catch a full inventory of Tarantulas with this trick.

on pond island, i started fishing in the sea and not the pond and i caught about six or seven red snappers, and for 3,000 bells each, it’s decent for a seemingly worthless island - but it was raining so im not sure if that

I've cleared the land on spiral island and made off like a bandit there before with bugs. I can get bugs I want on almost any island you just need to clear them and the bugs respawning only a certain type of bugs. Usually I get atlas moths by leaving the coconut trees, cutting down and derooting the tree stumps, breaking rocks, picking up weeds, picking flowers and then picking up the plant itself and relocating all that and empty items to the beach
I never got spiral island ive only seen the common island with a river in middle, my rare fruit island (peach) (pears are my native), and the best island I found is the flat bamboo forest I clear everything out and farm tarantulas

I've just watched this video and on my 3rd attempt on finding tarantula island I got it omfg I'm so happy
I got a hybrid flower island but it was a totally different layout, there were waterfalls and cliffs.
I found shark island completely by accident! I didn’t even know it existed, I just started fishing when I saw dorsal fins and I kept getting sharks. After a while I thought I had broken the game because it was only sharks. Then I looked it up and realized just how rare it was. Luckily, CJ was also on my island that day so I got around 650,000-700,000 bells from that single island. It was wild.
There’s an Emperor Butterfly island too! It looks like a rare flower island, and they spawn forever at night! I left 100k richer

I don’t know if anyone has gotten this island yet but it’s a literal Bell mine. The geography is a square island with no ponds or rivers. It has four right triangles on the side, sort of looks like a picture frame if you look at it from the top. So what’s so special? It has five money rocks and it spawns a massive amount of scorpions, you will get SWARMED, no set up required, but you need a scorpion trap or you’ll get stung from all sides. I got a full inventory of scorpios in less than 20 minutes.

I’ve always gone in the day for that island so idk about night time, but usually the big fish in that pond is either Koi or a Black Bass. (If I remember correctly don’t quote me, but Koi pops up quite often)
I kid you not, I got the bell island today, and I was like “Hm.. this island is most likely rare lol” and I walked away from the island with a crazy amount of bells. It was great, but I came to this video to make sure the island was special lol.
Glad you made that point about tools. I was panicking about making sure I had mine but, you are right you can make what you actually need in most cases.
I do bring my swimsuit though. Use to bring it in my pockets then I realized it made more sense to wear it and keep mu pockets free and I can dive or whatever.

Bamboo is actually a perfect tarantula island if you can chop down all the bamboo, trees, and break all the rocks. It's perfect because it's a small flat island. I got it one time but I got unlucky because while I was chopping down the bamboo my axe broke and the stupid bunny day eggs took all the wood slots, so bring a spare axe.
Big fish is so good I walked away with 8 oarfishs 4 tunas 9 blue marlins the rest of my inv was fulled with red snappers.

On every island if you shake a tree without fruit on it then you can get furniture make sure you hold a net though so you don't get bit by wasps
On pond island yesterday, I was getting a constant spawn every few seconds of Atlas Moths on coconut trees. Only worth 3000 each though.

I had been very lucky to get to the scorpion island with money rocks. Not sure if this is a method but i used 2 nook miles at noon around 2 pm (gave 1 usual island and 2nd was rare) and 2 nook miles in the evening 3rd island was usual and the 4th island was where i got to scorpions and money rocks. It was a jackpot! :)

Okay! I’m gonna give you some tips on how to get tons of bells, of course there’s other ways but this is just how I do it.
You need tons of miles to go to mystery islands! Go to one and collect all the weeds, chop down as many trees as you can, collect as many bugs and fish as you can as well. If you need materials then only sell the weeds! Also pick flowers, sell those too.
I made a spot on my island that is a flower field! The entire section is a giant field, I can pick the flowers and sell them.
So yeah, that’s basically what I do. Also the flower island is very pretty when all the flowers are grown.
If you use this in a video you don’t have to credit me unless you want too.
Have fun paying off debt and stuff like that!

If you’re trying to get bamboo trees just eat fruit and dig up the actual trees then you don’t have to wait for the shoots to grow

It was really easy so I get Orville to do the joy reaction 10 times and I get to an island completely bombarded by bamboos so I’m glad I’ll have a lot of diys to make from the bamboos so I’m excited plus I’m working to improve my island so then I can get a good rated island and I get kk slider to visit my island which essentially is considered the end of the game technically but I know it’s a game that doesn’t come to an end

You shouldve caught more than that. You can make over 200k bells on that island.
Also I got a scorpion island yesterday. I don't know if the turantula island is the same but on the Scorpion island you get 6 money rocks along with it being a Scorpion island which is way cool. The only thing I want to get now is the hybrid flower island which I've yet to ever get yet. I want to make a flower garden with them.
Oh wow I just got the big fish island today didn't realize there was anything else special other than just the big fish i got one oarfish and a red snapper there. If I had known I could have Just fished it all and got tons of money, oh well next time I guess.

dont forget to bring a net and stand infront of the tree and shake it, you can get one furniture item and one wasp (sell the wasp and wasps nest) And on the beaches you will get a DIY bottle on the islands!

I don't know if others will find it as useful but I found an island where everything I fished up was trash. For me it was a gold mine because I have been looking for lots of old tires to make tire stacks with. I was able to fish up a full inventory of old tires in about 30 minutes.

Ive got a big fish island yesterday. Its two waterfall with 3 connected ponds, and only big shadows spawn there(and respawn instantly) i only got 15k fishes with a little bit of basses from that. Made 650k bells from selling those to lomeus.

I have a question- since you can typically only visit any one island once and never return there, does that mean that these islands (such as Tarantula Island, Shark Island, and Bell Island) are only able to be visited once and then you can never visit them again? Or can you end up spawning on another island like that one at a later point? PLEASE let me know!

Froggy , I had everything I needed, I just didn’t know how because there was only one way to get to the middle because the rivers were too big to jump over and there was only one spot it wasn’t. But I didn’t know that.
You have to break the rock , then stand where the rock was and then u can vault cuz that rock is closer to the island in the middle

I visited an island last night that I’m not sure if it would be considered rare or not. It had my native fruit and native flower, but had an abundance of large river fish. After donating each to the museum, I sold the rest of my fish for 144k bells

You can transform Bamboo Island into a different Tarantula Island. If you cut all the trees and pull the stumps. Break all the rocks and pull all the weeds and flowers off the island, then only certain bugs will spawn. I only get the Tiger Beetle, Warf Roach's and the Tarantula. Was able to catch a full inventory of Tarantulas with this trick.
