Just a little clarification Mr. Worm; that is not the SIERRA MADRE, that is the Sierra De San Juan Cosalá, a small mountain range that runs along the lake on the Northern side of the lake. Mexico's main mountain ranges are The Sierra Madre Oriental (Eastern Sierra Madre) and the Sierra Madre Occidental (Western Sierra Madre) and they both run in the North-West -- South-East direction, the first along the Golfo De Mexico Coast, and the second along the Pacific Coast.
