Only reason Anakin stayed being Vader was because he hated Anakin for killing Padme and his kids. Him finding out his kids are alive and that Padme died another way would break Vaders own existence.

In Star Wars the force unleashed 1 Tatooine DLC, is in an alternate timeline where Starkiller took Vaders place and he was looking for the Death Star plans, I always wondered what would happen if it was Vader
What if Jango owned the Darksaber? The close range weapon could lead to him potentially surviving, either that or the extra Mandalorians that would follow him as a result.
Anakin killing himself just doesn't fit well with me especially when he's the chosen one unless he wakes up somehow in the sand and survive also wouldn't they send someone to find Vader if he doesn't come back

Great story I loved it. That Luke would be the one to bring him back and I can see Anakin taking over and wanting to die.
Would he want to die or would he want to go back and take revenge on palpatine for hiding his offspring from him
I actually he would want to take revenge on Palpatine as he was still Vader to some extent and would be consumed by hatred.
