How to Remove Focus Mode on iPhone (tutorial)

- Focus mode, recently known as the 'do not disturb mode' now has multiple features and it's important to know how to use them. What's also crucial is to know the way you can get out of it and stop it completely. If it returns on its own, make sure to prevent it.

I hate this fucking feature. Miss so many calls and I’m sick of having to constantly turn on a different “focus.” I tried setting schedules and it still doesn’t work
Open up each focus separately and scroll to the very bottom where you can delete it. The only focus I couldn't delete was "Do Not Disturb" - but all the others are gone, gone :-)

I've done this a few times and then after an Apple upgrade or some other way, new focuses appear and I don't notice right away and just wonder why I didn't hear an important incoming call until I remember this horrible "feature" where Apple has decided it should control when people can reach me or not. As long as I can remember, iPhones have had a physical switch on the side where I can turn off the ringer. That's straight-forward and simple. If I ask about anything like this on an Apple forum and try to word it as a positive request for help, I get a message that my question was removed and my account blocked for being an Apple hater. I wasn't hating, just questioning how I can avoid a "feature" that doesn't work for me. I don't want to learn how to use the feature, I simple want to. turn it off permanently.

Cant turn off - app developers pretending to care about too much screen time and in fact keeping us on the bloody thing longer trying to figure this

Years of frustration, this toggle has had me in tears trying to make it stop, and all I needed to do was tap the moon image to turn it off.

Whoever is annoyed and wants to delete the whole iPhone focus-thing: open up each focus separately and scroll to the very bottom where you can delete it. The only focus I couldn't delete was "Do Not Disturb" - but all the others are gone, gone :-)
You also need to go into the Do not disturb menu and ADD all those app you need to work even when it’s, non intentionally, ON. It includes PHONE, so hopefully it’ll have minimal impact to those reliant on being disturbed!

This feature is sooooo irritating .. . It’s so annoying how can I disable it all an taken off. Stop adding features I cannot control. Missing calls and notifications. Apple -lease allow me to remove this no vale added service

Focus turned my ringer off several months ago. I found what I called a workaround which was to schedule it to be on for 15 minutes every day. Yesterday I told my wife I was considering throwing away my smart phone and getting a dumb one. Today my phone ringer was silenced and then a few hours later all calls straight to voicemail. Nothing in this video changes anything. Focus is malicious software as far as I am concerned.
Buy android we don’t have this issue. Honestly if I didn’t need an emergency phone I would never use an iPhone as stupid features like these are mandatory and impossible to remove, unlike this idiots video title.

In iphone 14 this is trash, people can bypass focus modes regardless if you have it on. Also repeated calls go through. Focus mode is not really a do not disturb.

no they don't - its broken - enables on its own without a schedule - its garbage.
This is the stupidest feature ever. I have missed many important calls. I feel like suing apple for this stupid thing. Also the fact that there is a single button to put the phone to silence mode and you dont know for the life of your concious mind why in the hell the phone never rings and suddenly you find out the button got flipped.
