@@BrenspeedEngineeringI have a gen 1 Coyote with the track pack. Rear axle is whining badly, got worse over the last 1,000 miles. Only 32,700 miles. Currently not driving it until I change the fluid. If changing the fluid doesn't help I'll be seeing you soon for a rear axle rebuild with Moser axle splines and rebuild kit. Hopefully the Torsen is ok. Any thoughts it this will help? I'm just hoping to get it driveable until I can save up some money cause I was planning on upgrading the drivetrain anyways before I get one of your Vortech kits.
@@BrenspeedEngineering Thank you for replying. I'm kind of tapped out at the moment and about to make my last child support payment but buying my son his first car soon, so likely it will be next year for a rear axle rebuild and can at least drive it till then. I was hoping to do it this year. If I upgrade next year I'll probably do an RST clutch upgrade, 1 piece driveshaft and the rear axle rebuild.
Not a fan of s65o’s. Have an R and a Cftp. But that car looks really good. Those subtle mods really helped. And the whipple is a nice touch. Miss my 350 that was whippled. Great as always.
That is a sweet set. Great work as usual. Sounds great to! It is amazing what can be done. With this car having a 10 speed what gear is used on the dyno?
We usually use 6th even though 7th is the closest 1 to 1. 6th produces a little lower number but it is safer for the dyno. When it comes to tuning it does not matter you are just tuning off the data anyways not off the "number". Thanks!
Unfortunately the aftermarket headers void the Whipple Stage 1 warranty. So it's best for the customer to go back to stock headers since they paid extra for the warranty. So how do I know this? Someone asked about the warranty and aftermarket headers to a whipple worker via email or messages (pretty sure it was email). Sure enough, they showed the reply via a photo saying it voids the warranty. Just some food for thought 👍 the warranty is basically useless anyways 😅 they'll deny a claim if the car broke at WOT. The data is stored in the computer of the car and they'll absolutely pull that data.
I thought the same thing. The warranty thing, if you fight it, they will give it to you. My friend had an issue, and they said that. He treated to sue. They gave him the warranty. The only reason I went with the Ford performance warranty whipple was because I kept my new car warranty lol. So the whipple is a back up for me.
They are converting everything to Gen 6 I am pretty sure so you should be able to get a Gen 6 that direct fits your car. It may already be out I have not checked. They keep changing all the models non stop with tons of options.
I have a s650 premium performance package with carbon filters removed K&N filters and Kooks cat back H pipe 3”. If I go with the stage 1 warranty package do you recommend the oil pump drive gear upgrade? Or does the 3 year 36,000 take care of it in case of failure. Thanks.
I'm a classic 05-08 kinda guy, but I do have to admit, the 24 is sexy. Coyote question, do you have to watch the torque for reliability? I know the sweet spot on the 3 valve is around 450.
From what I've read, first gen Coyote keep it around 600 lb-ft at most. Second and third gens don't seem to have any real limits with typical kits and even stage 3 setups. I'm guessing gen 4 Coyote is just as good.
Well gen 1, 2, 3, and now 4 are all a bit different. I will say on the Gen 3 we have turned them up to over 1000 rwhp without engine issues. pretty crazy. Gen 1 is not near as strong FYI.
@@302Mustang13s650 is locked down and you can't do e85 tunes so you'll never push it far enough with the tuning they have to even worry about it. Coyotes don't make torque anyways so its not a concert you gotta be over 1000 wheel to see 700 or so.
@@BrenspeedEngineeringDo you know what boost it was making with each of the pulleys? I know once it hits 12 or over the stage 1 calibration starts to freak out
On all coyote supercharged if the money is available rear cylinder head cooling kit is a good mod. I like headers. Carbon Fiber drive shaft adds rwhp as well as safety and reliability. The stage 2 is a better option as you get the larger throttle body and higher RPM tune. BUT the stage 1 is super fast out of the box.
Hi we are located in Indiana if you are interested in current install pricing that can be found by emailing quote@brenspeed.com include your cell number most of the quotes will go out via text. THANKS
Stage 1 is not yet 50 state legal and because they remove the OEM air box set up carbon traps I doubt they will ever have a true 50 state kit. I believe the Roush kit coming out will be 50 state legal. I have seen it.
Correct he does not care about the warranty now thats why he added them. He did care when he ordered the kit on the pre order but after driving the car and waiting so long for them to come out he said he wanted those items. The cal is still the warranty calibration though.
Please stop pushing Whipple! Don't you know if you buy the Whipple and a deer takes out your car you are screwed! Ford and Chevy both change the bolt patterns on their engines. So if you think you can get a new car YOU ARE WRONG! LOOK IT UP BRENTSPEED! Buy a freaking ProCharger, not a stinking Whipple. Or just waste $15,000, learn the hard way by trusting these speed shops!
I have no idea what any of that means lmao. Superchargers, deer, bolt patterns, getting new cars, etc... Been in business over 20 years never heard something like that. Maybe that comment is a joke I dont get.But regardless thanks for watching and commenting!!!
That setup is 🔥 Badassery.
For sure! Thanks!
Thats the first Supercharged 2024 ive seen. Pretty awesome! Thanks Brent.
No problem thanks for watching!
The only blower you can do is whipple or whipple variant there is no other options on s650s because of the locked down ecu.

I think the wheels look great on that beast. THANKS for watching!
I have a whipple stage 2 kit on the way. I live in southern Indiana about 180 miles away from this shop
You will love it!
Freeking sweet!
Yah not bad at all for a Stage 1 kit.
Love the content man, one day ill have my gen 1 5.0 in your shop 👀🤘

Try the fluid maybe it is smoked that is a cheap test but if not you might as well follow your plan with a full rear build. THANKS

where did you get the bronze wheels at ? they look good

Strangest post I've seen on Brenspeed. That's the last thing I'd worry about when adding a Whipple. Car should be fixable anyways.
