I used a sharp utility knife/blade (boxcutter) - gently pried around the edge until I could get a screwdriver under it and pry them out. It's tough not to leave some marks. Applying some heat (carefully) from a heat gun might help as well. Penetrating oil is another possibility - just messy...
@@astrodave I appreciate it, I just removed them with a sharp scraper blade to remove Tintin windows and I place the small flat screwdriver. and I use the Blaster Lubricant for the nut
If they are corroded on, use some rust penetrant like PB Blaster, let it soak for a while (or even a day or two) and wiggle the base of the wiper arm up/down/in/out to break them loose. They should eventually come off (no tricks). If they are still stuck, a bit of heat is next (but very tricky) - just try not to melt the cowl covers! A few light taps with a hammer might help the penetrant get in to the corroded areas. A battery terminal puller is another idea.
helped a bunch ... I know it's not easy doing it all on own in middle of night. thanks !
Quick search, found my answers with your video, off to remove my cowl instead of going into it blind. Thanks
Great hands on how to do…..
Thanks, this just helped me out a lot.
Thanks big help
Here’s a great tip for making videos. Turn your phone sideways for a widescreen view.
With what you removed the plastic round caps first, without ruining them?? I have tried with a small flat screwdriver and it is not working

Is there a trick to getting the wiper arm off? Mine is very stuck and can't budge it.
