Hi Sophia! I’ve been watching your videos for years now and I wanted to affirm how awesome you are and how relevant your videos are. You seem to get negative feedback sometimes that is reflected in your reminders that you don’t have it all together and that your videos are for other people who have messy homes. I wanted to share that your determination, real ness, and willingness to share your process has been such an inspiration to me. I am a very organized and minimal person, maybe someone you don’t think your videos are made for, but I get so much motivation from you and how you tackle the process of managing your home and cultivating a space that makes you happy. I think that’s what making a home is all about - creating spaces that you love and that serves you and your loved ones well - which you seem to do beautifully. It’s challenging without kids and husbands, so what you do with ALL you have going on (2 kids, a hubby, pets, a full time and demanding job as well as your side hustles) and how you share it is - quite simply amazing. Please keep being who you are and creating the content that you do. Ignore the negative comments and know that you are providing helpful, empowering and often time hilarious content for all the folks that adore you. Take care and Happy Thanksgiving! P.S I’m looking so forward to your Christmas tree decorating videos. It’s become a holiday tradition for me ♥️
hi Sofia, I used to struggle keeping up once I organized a space and after some trial and error realized I can't have lids because then its a little harder to put things back, also I can't have bins on top of each other because then I have to move them to place stuff back. lol I'm lazy. when i got rid of the lids and didn't put bins on top of each other I was putting things away. Also labels , clear bins help me a lot and i try to keep the things I use more often easy to reach.
If I may, create a boiler room "landing zone" for all the items that need to be put away after you are done with a project. Then set a reminder for a weekly 15 minute time to put things away in their proper place. I do this with my craft room, which is a catastrophe every week.
Sophia, I lol'd at "this is the part where I put the circus music on". I write right on the plastic box, even Sharpie pen comes right off with rubbing alcohol if you need to use the box for something else eventually. I'm JUST like you, I'm a pro at organizing and details, I love to do it, it's just maintaining it!
LOL Sophia! I love your sense of humor AND your opening! I LOL'd when you tried to say Hello Sophia here, then said sheesh what was that? So funny! Luv ya girl !!!
You did pretty good. A few suggestions. Get some Sterilite 66 quart bins. Put all of your electrical in one. Anything but light bulbs. Put light bulbs in plastic shoeboxes. Remove all packaging first. I have four: 40 watt, 60 watt, 100 watt and 3 way. Electrical tape goes with tape. All painting, caulk, grout and sandpaper goes in a 66 quart bin labeled, "Painting". Take an 8 x 11 sheet of paper and tape it inside the bin with scotch tape to label the bin. I type mine up on my computer so the letters are large and it's easier to read. Take another 66 quart bin and label it "House Parts". I usually put my address on it so it might say, "1115 House Parts". This bin would be for anything that stays with the house when you move. It could be extra dishwasher parts you aren't using, or anything that goes with anything that stays with the house. Warranty manuals go in a 3 ring binder. Get two. One binder is for anything that stays with the house if you were to move and the other binder is for anything else. And finally, get a three drawer plastic bin. I use one drawer for all screwdrivers, one for pliers, one for hammers, one for tape and one for misc tools. Of course, you'll need more than one. And yes, the hard part is putting things away but it's totally worth it. Your time is valuable so focus on organizing once and putting things away so you don't have to start all over. Easier said than done. 😉 Hope this helps. I was a Professional Organizer for many years.
@Helena Helena Yes, I've done it for years and it works. We all have those odds and ends that go with the house (cabinet knobs, etc.) or an appliance that we aren't using but don't want to toss. Hope it helps!
It's looking good! The only problem I see is with the boxes stacked on top of each other. I always find that getting a box out from the bottom is a pain and I'm much less likely to put it back where it belongs.
OhMyGee!!!! New video!! Yipee! Doesnt matter if you think/feel your fat. What matter is your still alive and kickin’! And of course, working with new great challenges. You still look amazing and gorgeous. You are such a busy bee 🐝! Take it easy my dear. Try to find something to make you chillax and relax. Please take care always. We are on the same page. Been down and losing my end on how to organize not just my stuff but my life as well. But I try to enjoy whatever life throws at me, as long as I see my family happy. Take care always ❤️ may you find peace and contentment in whatever you do. Whatever you are trying to achieve, u will get there someday.
Sophia, you always do a good job organizing, cleaning & decluttering!! Don't be so hard on yourself. Leave a basket on the floor to put stuff in and once a month tidy up. That way, the stuff is IN the boiler room and not elsewhere. Remember you are one busy Lady!!! You will figure it out and whatever system works better for you, you will do!!! Hang in there you are making progress!!😉👍💖TFS.
Great job Sophia, that’s my problem staying organised. You are hardworking, busy lady you motivate so many. Please don’t put yourself down you have many supporters. Thankyou for sharing, have a great weekend 😊💖
Glad to see your posting. I have a room that basically is just as your boiler room. I just put that on my list of projects for this upcoming week. Thanks for the inspiration. Great job done. Have a great week!
Sophia love yo ur videos!!! My basement is a worse disaster after our up stairs redo. We did it over a year ago.I have tried several times to clean it up but gave up. You accomplished a lot. I'm proud of you!
Hi I am a person like you. I too have messes everywhere. I am a work in progress but getting there slowly. Hey this is life right. Thanks for keeping things real. Love your channel. I just wish I had your energy..
I swear by masking tape. it's beige. It pre-dates Duck or Duct tape. I write on a strip of it to label any any all boxes/ bags of things needing to be sorted or stored.
A tip for next time put the sticky note inside backwards. Then you can write on it and then tape it if you wish inside. I actually use to use index cards and this with them. That way I could even write what was inside of them. We just bought a house and I'm excited to get rid of alot of clear bins we won't need anymore. We have a garage and two sheds. Yes we have the space but we dont want to fill it up with items we bo longer need. Those items are taking up precious real estate in our home.
Hello Sophia! Just wanted to let you know that I still use my fingers to count and there are also days I'm grateful that I've got all my toes to use too!!! I love watching you! You are amazing and beautiful! I can't wait to see your outside done. God Bless you!
Sophia, I can so relate to you in so many ways. I love your personality and you make me laugh so much. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!😅
Wow! I have never been this early! Anyways I am so happy to see a new video Ms. Sofia. Your videos are always a blessing to watch and I was seriously missing you after so many videos through October.
Stop calling yourself fat! I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t even think about your weight when I watch your videos. I think you always look beautiful!!💋
Sophia , place the boxes in order of most importance,. Screws on top, not bottom, you use more often, easier to get to...tools on top, easy for kids to access...(hey it might happen....)....great job, Sophia.
Looks great! Love all the boxes for THINGS... wish your family will read the labels... mine never learned! 🤣 I label boxes with my label maker... duct tape and a sharpie marker. I figure if I am the only one READING the damn things, it doesn’t matter what they look like. Your channel is definitely for me Sophia! I S-T-R-I-V-E ... with many of the same issues, and am now reselling... how Do you spell ...” screams in frustration” ?! Aaaarrgh! 🤣🤭
You possibly need a big tool box for your tools! I also like using individual plastic large drawers in can use on shelves to store home items that I need access too. I know Wal-Mart and Target have the individual ones.
Sophia, I love watching you because you struggle with the same things I do. I can put together plans and systems but daily living wears me out so that maintaining is where I crash. I also laughed when I saw you taping on the post-its (my favorite labeling: cheap, easy to see, and easy off!). I also have watched your vid on your bedside tables more than once or twice. Thanks for being you. For me, your goal of showing a woman who struggles with the same things I do is much appreciated!😊
My husband can never find his tools so buys another of the item he's looked for. Im guessing hes easily got five of everything lol. I already helped him clean it out several times, only to have him mess it up. He's on his own lol You did a great job! Tfs & take care xx 🌹

The music is great and I see the video is longer than 30 minutes. It's too late for me to start cleaning feverishly at this hour so tomorrow it is. Goodnight
I haven’t even watch the video yet my 2 1/2 year-old heard you say your /her name She came running to see who you were and now she’s walking around the house saying phia and phia ... phia and phia LOL she is amazed that you both are Sophia
Sophia you make me laugh!! Tell those young men to put those tools 🛠 in the right place. If they can read music, play video games and find the fridge they can put those tools up for their Mom. You are so willing to go the extra mile for everyone in your family they can take time to put things back, you save you & Scott so much money by doing repairs yourself, I wish I had your knowledge of things. Way to go Sophia!!
Oh my! You caught me off guard w the fat again disclaimer. 😬 I know this is something you have been working on and off over time. Trust that one day you will figure that piece of your journey out. Be patient and kind with yourself. You deserve it. 🤗 I have done the same with myself and I am finally keeping the weight off for years. It truly is a process and when you are ready to tackle it, you will succeed. Love your channel! You are awesome! 👊👍 #ww #bettertogether
Sophia - the first thing you say you will prob never use but you’re keeping it. I just don’t get it but I do enjoy your videos but shake my head a lot lol
You are so funny! =) Putting things away just takes a few minutes - you can do it! ♥ I think it´s because you have to move many boxes to reach the one you are looking for. The layout of the shelves is not very practical. Please don´t missunderstand - I don´t judge you - it´s just an advice. ♥ Maybe it´s easier to take the hole box upstairs, use the tools, put them back in the box and carry the hole box back in the basement?
I would suggest a nice craftsman set up. You can get them on sale during black friday week and cyber monday. There will be storage for all your tools, wire, paint, wood care, ect. You can customize it and get magnets that you can write on to label the drawers. Also on locking wheels. It would look streamed line and give you more space. You would need only 2
You not only used your fingers to count, you counted in French, right? 😊 By the way, did teachers in other countries also tell you to not use the calculator on "simple" math calculations, because later in life you won't always have a calculator with you? Now look at our phones... Sophia, would it be possible to put all powertools together in one basket or box? It might look even more organized. You did a great job!
I think you need the right type of organisation so you keep using it and Cass at Clutterbug on youtube is the woman for you. She categorises us as different types of insects that need different types of organisation. Can’t recommend her enough!
Lovely Sophia 💜, You are a hoot with Oscar Acting . Who doesn’t count on their fingers ? What a great job organizing the boiler room 👍. Beagle Stamps for the win 🐶🐶👍. You really are an inspiration to all of us. We can’t wait to see the garage finished too. We love y’all 💜❤️💕🐶🐶🐱.
We are sisters...I am older 60ish...nevertheless....we are sisters from different mama's!!! Lovu...been watching you....I am a newbie subbie. ❤👍🤣❤❤❤👩🦳🤣🤣🤣🤣I love to waist time and energy...instead of buying proper equipment 🤣🤣🤣🤣👩🦳me always!!!
I'd keep them as well, Sophia obviously bought them for a purpose once. And might need them again at some point. I hate to have to spend money again on stuff I once bought, didn't need for a long time, throw it away and need it again some day. That has happened to me many times. So as long as I have the space I hold on to those things.
Sofia, love your videos but lately you've been driving me a lottle nuts with your pronunciation of the word collumn. The "n" is silent! It's pronounced "kol-um".
Jayne Sheriff in French the “n” IS pronounced, So come on cut her a break, thanks❤️ Also Jayne you misspelled column, only one L but that didn’t drive me nuts only a little…honest mistake, probably spellcheck…or something?

I'm a shameless finger counter, too! 🤓
If you're not going to use it DONT keep it.
Almost 50 k
I think you need the right type of organisation so you keep using it and Cass at Clutterbug on youtube is the woman for you. She categorises us as different types of insects that need different types of organisation. Can’t recommend her enough!
Shelf of nonsense, I love it!
I love your sence of humor , I know I cant spell.
I love the clown music!
Fingers and French ou la la
We are sisters...I am older 60ish...nevertheless....we are sisters from different mama's!!!
Lovu...been watching you....I am a newbie subbie. ❤👍🤣❤❤❤👩🦳🤣🤣🤣🤣I love to waist time and energy...instead of buying proper equipment 🤣🤣🤣🤣👩🦳me always!!!
There was a lot of stuff that you weren't sure why you have. Yet you keep it 🤔
Why does it matter to you?
I'd keep them as well, Sophia obviously bought them for a purpose once. And might need them again at some point. I hate to have to spend money again on stuff I once bought, didn't need for a long time, throw it away and need it again some day. That has happened to me many times. So as long as I have the space I hold on to those things.
It’s one of those where you throw it away and a week later you need it! It’s called Sod’s law!
Because that's how she likes it. The end.
dix onze douze 😂 i love you 💖
💖
🤣🤣🤣 anyone else catch the Kimmy phrase?
What s a Kimmy phrase?
Kimmy from She's in her apron says "progress, not perfection" a lot
Sophia ici 😂
👍😘👏👏💝
Sofia, love your videos but lately you've been driving me a lottle nuts with your pronunciation of the word collumn. The "n" is silent! It's pronounced "kol-um".
Jayne Sheriff in French the “n” IS pronounced, So come on cut her a break, thanks❤️ Also Jayne you misspelled column, only one L but that didn’t drive me nuts only a little…honest mistake, probably spellcheck…or something?
@@klutzykate123 Oh that's so darned funny. I'm taking a screenshot!!!
