proud and fearless,
But he was always a raging bull, mighty, powerful, capable of charging through anyone that stood in his way.
Wow! Can any actor even come close to this man's resume? He did it all! The consummate professional. BTW, I loved his pprtrayal of the high priest Caiaphas in "Jesus of Nazareth" and the mafia boss in "Mobsters". A true legend of the Cinema!
"Jesus of Nazareth" was a made-for-TV movie, but you're right about Quinn's acting prowess.
AWESOME, and I guess what can be considered as the cherry on top of the fudge sundae, the cameo appearance Maureen O'Hara and he makes in 'Only the Lonely' with John Candy. :)

I have seen 22 Anthony Quinn movies from these 55 movies included. I believe I have seen others that did not make this list. The lowest ranked I have seen is Heller in Pink Tights. The films I have seen include the top 14 movies.
Favourite movies are The Guns of Navarone, Lawrence of Arabia, La Strada, The Ox-Bow Incident, Lust For Life, Road to Morocco, They Died With Their Boots On, Last Train From Gun Hill, Warlock, Blood and Sand, The World in His Arms, Behold a Pale Horse, and Sinbad the Sailor.
I watched Zorba the Greek for the first time when I was too young to understand it and was upset by the ending.

I have checked my comment on Bruce's Anthony Quinn page that looks at 90 movies. I said that I had seen 35.
Hi Flora, Anthony Quinn has appeared in well over 100 films, when I was compiling this list I had to balance his major roles with his supporting roles and ultimately remove some of his minor roles in classic American films such as The Black Swan. Otherwise this would have been a Top 75 instead of 55.
I've seen 26 of the 55 and like you I've seen more that didn't make the final list. Favorites include - Lawrence of Arabia, The Guns of Navarone, Barabbas, Taras Bulba, Road to Morocco, They Died With Their Boots On and Last Train from Gun Hill.

Can't fault the list. No doubt about no.1. Thought he was also great in 'High wind in Jamaica ' and 'Secret of santa vittorio' as Bombolini. Hasn't put a foot wrong acting wise.
Nice expanded video. I have seen 14 of the movies listed. I have seen 4 of of the Top 5.....I have not seen La Strada (#2) but I want to. Others that I enjoyed would be #15 Warlock...an underrated western. #45 Last Action Hero....one of the few that seem to like this one. #44 Revenge.....love the ending. Ones I disliked #46 The Desructors...what a waste of time....#31 Behold a Pale Horse....what a wasted cast. Nice video. Voted up. Shared at UMR.
