Your daughter is lucky! I can't get any tickets when they had the concerts in Asian countries.. I'm just too slow compared to others..,then i realised there are videos to teach ppl like me how to get BTS tickets before they are sold out within hours.

BTS’ lyrics is what really sets them apart from most any artist. They have a talent to communicate thoughts that are relatable across all demographics. If you go through their lyric explanations you’ll see how they can be compared to Beatles. They stand among giants in my opinion. 💜
Yeahh i think because they make own music too, its really show oj their performance that they proud with their songs and love it. And when they performed, they always improvise using simple detail like their facial expression, etc to express the meaninh of the song. Its hard to find and feel that at other kpop groups especially when they dont make own song and just performed it.
j s also the fact they write and produce their own music also sets them apart, and their genuine love and respect for music, each other, other artists and especially ARMY 💜

ACTUALLY, BTS tied the BEATLES records. Honestly, can you even imagine the Jonas Brothers doing these moves. NO WAY! Maybe Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone but the rest of Nsync, I don't think so. BTS puts on a show. You have to go to a BTS concert. I'm telling you, it's the best show you will ever see. Thank you for the reaction

Tbh I don't think that they're like any other boyband out there cause they aren't trying to imitate them music wise. What really makes a difference to me is the fact that they produce and write their music, that they care about more than just a good rhythm, but comforting young people. Their lyrics are so pure and at the same time strong. And they are proud to be Korean, they're not trying to be more Occidental-like but to break the barriers of language and culture.
I think you should definitely check their MMA 2018 performance to see what I'm talking about.

BTS sold 90K tickets twice at wembley, so..yea 180K ticket in 2day..
For a concert Wembley is 60k not 90 so they sold around 120k over the both days

BTS is the 'Beatles' of this generation. It's all in their lyrics by touching subjects in their society which is not spoken about out loud nor addressed like mental health and many subjects changing South Korea and expanding throughout the world breaking through language barriers to have their words understood and are relate-able to all. Beatles did'n t do that, they did it in English, BTS is doing it in Korean, let that sink in.
i appreciate your inputs. 😊 may i just add that what makes bts remarkable is the lyricism in their music. the messaging they impart is incredible and relevant. we already know bts is talented in rapping, dancing, singing, and performance, but they could stick to simple lyricism that can just be simply viral and they'd still be popular. the thing about these boys though is that they want to tell their story to inspire and find comfort and relatability with people/listeners. NOW THAT IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE OF BTS TO OTHER POP ACTS EVER. those who care about lyricism usually stay as underground artists whilst bts used their capability to tap the mainstream and still say something important via their music. 😊

Only kpop groups always do choreographies to their songs, plus a little bit of fifth harmony, little mix but that's about it, so now western artists are adding choreo to their mvs. selena's one was rlly good tho ngl. i also notice that jonas brothers came back cos they saw the big influence of bts as a boy band
Everybody tryna step up their game lol but sorry, you won't be able to pull it off like them. Because 1) they don't have to try anymore and that's all thanks to their training 2) they do it because they have a passion for expressing themselves and have an ARMY that will support 3000%

BTS has also found success through being unique and revolutionary, especially in the way they tackle social issues like corporal punishment, mental illness, violence, poverty, substance abuse, and suicide. All culminating in their message of self-love. They have an entire Bangtan Universe in their videos, comics, novel, and soon to be game and tv series. They are so innovative with their multimedia storytelling. I don't know of any other group like them, ever.

@@Waleska-Herrera They make music in a lot of different genres. So I would recommend Dionysis, Home, Mic Drop, Fake Love, Spring Day, Fire, Idol and Save Me (this MV was done in one take!). Here is a lot of amazing and different music.

I like the intro version of this performance but I like the other Airplane Pt 2 live better.
zoeelovee2 I agree. But what triggers me about this one is that the cameraman is all over the place. At some of the shots you can see the shadow of the camera being cast on the boys, so I think MNet didn’t do a really good rehearsal about where camera placements should’ve been.
BTS has 3 #1 albums in one year..No one besides the Beatles has done that.Love you guys

To be fair, even musically, name me ONE artist that has experimented successfully with as many music genres as BTS have. While genre-hopping is something that kpop groups can do, what BTS have done sonically isn't exactly common even there AND they did it with very successful results consistently and very good production. Add to that the amazing lyrics (they write a lot of their own stuff and are also involved in the production of their albums) with topics that span over VERY different topics, from socially and politically conscious critique to mental health to love and self-love vs self-hatred and so on... You don't find groups doing it to their level of depth, research, genuine intent and with the same consistency (they talked about serious stuff since before debuting).
So they are indeed creating something different: they're a full package in every way: very good rapping from 3 versatile rappers, very good singers with 4 unique voices that flow well together, solid lyrics tackling many important themes and production tackling soooo many music genres successfully, amazing fitting choreographies, stunning stage presence and utter dominance of the stage, great acting and music video (often connected to the BU aka the BTS storyline that connects many of their videos) etc etc etc

For me, airplane pt. 2 performance wise. I like this performance the mama 2018 HK in term of canera angle n the intro choreo brings up mood b4 starting dance performance. Other than this, fake love mama 2018 Japan, mma 2018 whole performance is topping my favourite performance list. Kbs 2017 is good as well. Appreciate n enjoy good performance from bts.

At such young age the fame (with the good and bad things) got to him. And she's right. Actually I'd say they're doing things that has not really been done before in terms of the kpop world (sure occasionally you'd get songs with performances like theirs too, but I feel like BTS does it more consistently) Also with their whole global fanbase. Their performances are on a super high level tho which is rare tom see today and I feel that the messages in their lyrics also take it to another deep level with metaphors, clever word plays and symbolism and that they incorporate psychological ideas and novels they've read.
