Oh yeah about Suga using a mic, he just prefers having a mic esp when the choreography doesn’t require a lot of hand movements. Like 9.5x out 10 he will have a hand mic instead of a headset mic
This is Airplane 'Pt. 2' because it's based on J-Hope's solo mixtape song 'Airplane'.....in fact, JHope uses lyrics from his solo song for his part in this song.
Maybe your daughter was just referring to the fact that SUGA is not part of the dance line (JHope, Jimin, Jungkook and V) or that he wasn’t signed up for his dance skills but all the members have worked extremely hard on their dancing. Just as they have on their vocals and songwriting. I don’t know of any western group that puts in this kind of work on their skills like BTS does.

Suga is actually a pretty good dancer. he doesn't go full out partly because of an old injury from a serious car accident. when it's time to perform, he definitely holds his own.
The part that RM is singing and the person who is accompanying him in the singing is not Jungkook but Jin(appears in the MV).
And I also love the harmonization that the vocalines do with the Raplines.

When you get to know them, you really get to see the colors of their voices that are extremely different. Hence, you already notice errors like this already identify the voices. ☺️✌🏾
@@jojokookie7_ Yeah cause lyric video people are just trying to get it out quickly. That's why we usually say don't use lyric videos especially if they come out same day cause usually lyrics or who's singing them are incorrect.

Yoongi is really good at dancing he just never wanted to do it hitman bang told him he wouldn't have to dance in bts lol ( it is a thing bang lied to yoongi about that lol) also yoongi and a few other members were background dancers for other groups when they were trainees I know alot of people watch yoongi closely after they found out about his shoulder injury hoping he was okay but that's all I know of all army watching his dancing closely
Also yoongi preferes a hand mic and only uses the other kind when he has too due to cheoreo ect..
Lol actually yoongi used to bboy and really into that style of dance… but couldn’t do it anymore after his injury. Yoongi actually loves to dance lol I don’t know how the rumor got started that he didn’t…. He’s always doing weird dance and fun dances and stuff lol

Funny thing is, I will actually watch the dance practices multiple times, focusing on one member at a time and this goes for every group I listen to. I love seeing each individuals interpretation of the choreography.

Suga got an injured shoulder early in his time with BTS, which has inhibited some of his dancing skills. He got it operated on about a year ago and went through about 10 months of physical therapy, and his dancing has been really strong ever since. He really is a good dancer. Happy that you picked up on that. He has asked Jimin for some choreo.
The boys loved Jhope’s Airplane so much they decided to write Airplane pt 2. Jhope’s part in pt 2 is actually in his original. You should definitely check it out. It’s got a great vibe.

I’ve never heard suga singled out as possibly uncomfortable w dance. Not as advanced as the dance line in certain eras but RM and Jin used to get singled out the most, suga imo is the king of swag, he’s so good on stage.
Suga can dance, but he just doesn't want to dance. He even protested directly to Bang PDnim 8 years ago (130924) at Bangtan Rookie King. He himself said in an interview (Bangtan Bomb) that he can do anything, he can dance but he just doesn't want to do it.. 😅💜
His daughter wasn’t exactly wrong about him not being as strong of a dancer especially compared to the actual dancers in the group but I’d say he’s very good at following and executing the choreo which is why he doesn’t get called a “bad” dancer like Namjoon and Jin do. He’s right behind 3J who are obviously the best and then Tae > Yoongi > Namjoon/Jin.
@@kunikuzushis if i could even attempt 10% of what Namjoon n Jin have managed to dance onstage, having an experience of more than a decade now, i wouldn't label them as "bad dancers" in my wildest dreams. Idk how does this discourse continue even till date...😶
@@kunikuzushis Namjoon and Jin are awesome dancers. Their dancing are on point, they work super hard, you are still stuck in the past, time to move on. Sugar is a very good dancer.
@@beany1944 Where did I say the were bad? I’ve been into dancing since I was a kid so I’m very objective when it comes to their dance skills. I didn’t say they were bad but they do their best and keep up with the others but do I think they’re amazing dancers? No but they don’t need to be. Some people are just better at things than others and that’s not a bad thing nor does it undermine their hard work.

I agree with you about Suga! He is a very good dancer. What I notice is that, unlike some of the others, he is not so good at dancing on the spot without a choreography. However, when it is choreographed, he can pull off every move!
Yoongi/Suga used to be backup dancer with jhope, jimin and Jk pre debut and yoongi is a bboying dancer pre debut before the car accident . Yoongi knows How to play the piano thats yoongi first love
Trust me...lots of us watch everything 7 times to focus on a single member each time...lol. I honestly always think that Suga is underrated as a dancer. If I remember correctly, I think the MV was filmed using the Japanese version of the song and the one you watched had the Korean version dubbed over top so the lip synching didn't quite match up...but either way I love the MV and the live version!!! I don't think I had ever seen that particular live before...loved it. Thanks for reacting
The Japanese Version gets copyrighted really fast, Japan is really harsh with their laws, thats why ARMY used the Korean Audio so people can react to ot.

As you pointed out, the song is in Korean with some words in English and Spanish (the mariachi) in the chorus. Well in Home they also include a word in Spanish (casa).
But there is also the Japanese, English and Spanish version (the one from the MV).
Suga says that Bang PD tricked him into joining BTS, who told him that he wouldn't need to dance lol. Initially it was going to be a hip hop group but along the way the concept was changed to a hip hop idol group so by deciding to stay in BTS he had to dance.
From my perspective they are all good dancers, otherwise they wouldn't achieve those choreographies and synchronization; some simply have more experience or facility than others.
They are all great dancers, so dedicated to sharpening up their choreo...I think the main difference is who feels comfortable freestyling dance moves outside of song choreo, and if you watch concerts you'll definitely see J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook doing most of that...in the Festa dinner video where BTS announced their hiatus, Suga told us among many other things he was taking private lessons in, one of them was dance. He said he was going all the way back to basics because he wanted to be able to freestyle dance with confidence. Props to him and all of them using their 'free time's to improve themselves

Omg never stop doing this format. I love that you cover everything like this! Also if you wanna really see them individually dancing.. you should check out some of the individual live fancams.
All of them are great dancers. Jimin and JHope are the standouts but that's calling them standouts among a group that trains like professional champion athletes. They're all amazing at every aspect of their art.
Suga had also sustained an injury to his ear that required stitches. He tripped in the doorway of the hotel, and tore the cartlige of the ear. You can still see the scar. I am not sure which ear but I think it was the left. The handless mikes hang on the ears to get stabilization but with his injury he was not able to wear it.
Also with his shoulder injury, that was fixed in 2020-2021, it allowed him to minimize extreme movements by just holding the mike.

That part with RM at first was Jin, but later in the song the same part is done by JK. Both sound absolutely amazing. When I first discovered BTS I got JK and Jin’s vocals mixed up quite often.

JHope started dancing at the age of 10, he has been known as Smile Hoya and did underground dance battles and was known with his local dance Crew Neuron, he won Championships in HipHop/Street Dancing local and national, he gave up his education for dancing, his mom worked 2 Jobs and in a different City and his family that was already not well off went into debt, so he could go to the Dance Academy. He explained it in the Song MAMA he wrote for his Mom.

It's already been said, but Suga prefers to hold the Mic. I saw their Grammy rehersals Yesterday where He had to use the head wear type thingy😅 because He isn't used to wear it he also wore it for the dance practices.
Hand mic is just like you also his personal preference! He just got a quick verse on this one with no intense choreo during his part so in this case he'll usually always go for a traditional mic

You'll notice as time goes by, the rappers have switched to hand mics more because they generally don't dance during their verses and it's more comfortable. With Yoongi, he switched over much earlier. In performances where he uses the headset, his voice doesn't seem to cut through as well for whatever reason. Using the hand mic gives him more control, adjusting the distance to adjust the volume, I think.

Yoongi is an amazing dancer, in fact,his dancing in Butterfly is what convinced me to check more about BTS it made me think..wow he dances so beautifully..♡ not only that, you can tell how incredible he is and how much his dancing skills has improved with "That That" MV

Jin and RM did not dance at all before BTS. Unlike the rest, you could tell they weren't born with natural rhythm. They used to be placed at the back where it wasn't so noticeable. The fact that you couldn't tell which member wasn't a dancer shows how far they've come, but only with great determination and hard, hard work. Check out one of their early practices and imagine what it took to keep up with that crazy difficult choreo, Danger and Bulletproof 2 are good examples and would be great to react to (hint hint). Great for me, anyway. 💜

These guys have been dancing for more than 10 years. They are professional. RM is really good at dancing. But not many notice that.
Jin, i can tell he doesn't have that body rhythm but he try so hard. It's amazing how he keep up with such amazing dancers. He surprise me all the time. If you haven't seen RM fancams and him dancing please go watch them. Everyone pay attention to the dance line. But look at the rest too they are amazing.
RM has body rhythm actually. You'll know if you pay attention to him. It's sad ARMY haven't noticed that how good he is.

No,they never do live singing on dance practice (i mean they always use recording audio for dance practice). you might have been confused since they used mic as props so you thought they're also singing? w/ dance practice, they might be mouthing or singing along but the audio itself is not w/ live vocals.
"El MariaJIN El MariaJIN El MariaJIN" I can't not hear this song and not remember Jin putting his name in the lyrics. Yes, he has done it for other songs as well. Lol. Love him. The MV is actually for their Japanese version of this song, someone placed the Korean version over it, and you DID NOT notice the lips not matching up and totally just focused on the visuals of our boys. It had me rolling because most people notice the mouths not syncing. The Japanese version is just as fire. They are all really good dancers. During dance practices they don't sing, it's the track playing and focusing on the dance. People do tend to watch things 7-8 times, one for each member and then one for the group as a whole. Jin's high notes in this is BEAUTIFUL. I can't wait until you watch their medleys from their concerts, I say that because of the live you watched. Those outfits are so iconic for a certain medley and all the fancams. :)

in one of the other live performances of this, there’s a really cool dance duo between j-hope and suga. it does highlight the differences in thir skills but it also is a really good example of just how talented they all are.

I think Suga just prefers to use the handheld mic, you'll see him do that a lot in live performances. RM and j-hope use handheld mics quite often too, especially if it's a rapline song, I suppose it's a stylistic choice with the rap, or perhaps it's easier to rap with a handheld mic. If the choreography is super intense, they are all likely to use the other mics, but yeah, if there's a chance to use a handheld mic, Suga will definitely go for it.
THANK YOU! Suga is woefully underrated as a dancer, and he IS good. Very good. There have been some performances where I can't take my eyes off Jimin or Yoongi when they are dancing. So thank you for noticing.💜💐
People have this weird idea about him not being able to dance - and if you just watch him you can see that's not true. I think it may come from the fact that Yoongi never wanted to have to dance; and originally he and Namjoon were promised they wouldn't have to. But not wanting to dance is different from not being able to. And he has proved over and over that, not only can he dance, he's damn good at it.💜
But then, there is a similar thing with Jin. He has said that, prior to joining BTS, he had no interest in singing - and had to learn. So people say that, if he couldn't sing before joining BTS, it proves that anyone can learn to sing. Which is wrong. And just because he had no interest in singing doesn't mean he had no talent for it - it may just have needed trained. I mean he probably sang along with his favourite songs; but his interests ran in another direction.

it's more that Hobi & Jimin had the professional street dance & contemporary dance training from before debut/school days, which makes the 2 stand out more because of the body line/skills they demonstrate and their bodies would naturally move with every beat. But they all practiced hard for every choreo.
Hoseok started really young he was 10 and invested his whole Childhood and Education into Dancing, he was a Kid, it's kinda unfair to compare the rest to him tbh.

I’ll for sure check that out! Lol it’s so weird seeing a side of music I’ve never paid attention to before, dance was not even on my radar of thing I liked before Bts and now I’m like… maybe I’ll do some dance classes! 😅😅
I watch their dance practice videos 8 times -once for the overall & then once for each member so as not to miss a thing. Jimin & JHope are amazing trained dancers in different types of dance albeit still reflecting their own personalities. JK has had some outside training too think before their debut & I believe Suga did some street dancing before his shoulder accident. The rest did not have any dance background and still you really would never know. (Jin didn’t even have singing background which is sooo hard to believe.) V was added to dance line after Singularity. Although Jin & RM may still not think so, they hold their own & have evolved into beautiful dancers as well. All 7 are mesmerizing when they perform.
I started watching your reactions after you had Nico on. It’s fun watching someone discover BTS , their talents story are touching & inspirational. So far I’ve enjoyed every reaction I’ve watched. You are quite welcome. My daughter then 17 shared them with me. I thought ok another cute boy band replacing her One Direction love and really didn’t give them any more thought. Until she shared a clip of RM speaking at the UN (Anything this man says is gold) It made me stop and want to know just a little more about them. I started watching videos on my own, learning about each one and down the rabbit hole as they say I went. It’s really an endless treasure box . For me it is who they are as people & the relationship with each other that was built over the last 10-12 years-7 men who ok showing their vulnerability & genuine love for their “brothers”. It’s truly beautiful & a gift to witness. Their extraordinary musical talent is the cherry on top. I’ll always be grateful to my daughter for sharing them with me as it is said they come into our lives when we need them. Couldn’t be more true they’ve enriched this 50+ yr olds life in many ways. I even have a few BTS inspired tattoos.

@John Suga holds the mic a lot more then the other members is because the ear mics (sorry forgot their name) hurts his ears. I could be wrong but I think Suga has has multiple ear infections. (ARMY PLA CORRECT ME IF I AM

👌Love this format, a reaction always seems a bit incomplete without looking at the Dance Practice if there is one. It’s been such an important part of their act and one of the things that sets them apart, as you noted.
Suga is not in the official dance line but honestly they’ve all grown in their skills over time and given it 110 percent. So he more than holds his own in performances. He’s such a talented dude and is apparently increasing his dance lessons so, watch this space!

oohh one of my favs... good vibes.. dance wise, they nave their own style.. they're not all dancers in the beginning but with constant practise for years nonstop they've become good and well at it.. Suga is a good dancer.. haha he is really good and can cope up quick swell.. and on top of that for years he had a broken shoulder due to his motorcycle accident when he was doing his part time job while training with bighit.. but he's very well now,.. plus if you watch their dance practices, they normally wear clothes that isn't appropriate for dance practices but hey! they are just different like that.. haha and sometimes even in their tv appearances, Tae for example wears sandals and yet on his suits in dance practice... aaahhh we love them so much!!! I hope you watch their behind the scenes to include bait of laughs in your reactions.. we love your content Borahae and thank you so much once again for getting to know the boys!!!!

They would be bigger if they had radio play. I myself stopped listening to radio years ago because I was tired of hearing a song every 5 minutes. Now that I am ARMY I understand why songs are played on repeat. BTS doesn’t have hardly any radio play. Enjoyed your reactions 💜

Suga isn't part of the dance line, but he had some experience and breakdanced before being in BTS. He has taken it all in his stride seeing as he spent like 6+ years dancing with the shoulder injury from when he got run over! He's also a scene stealer in their Dope dance practise, I can't take my eyes off him every time, his confidence is everything!
It's the same with Jimin for me in this dance practise, the confidence he's exuding is *SO* attractive!!!! If only we could bottle that and buy it eh. I love the vibes of this song, it's a great sing along!

Yoongi is the best dancer out of the members who don't like to dance or didn't want to dance, but they are all at a very high level of ability, Jin and Joon practice harder and take more time to learn but they are both amazing. 💜

Suga holds the mic cause Suga does whatever Suga wants to do! It always makes me chuckle when someone says Suga can't dance. Like, objectively, none of the members are bad dancers. The choreo they pull off takes so much skill. There are some earlier songs I can't remember the names of, but he is front and center for a fair amount of time dancing and looking fantastic. I just think he's perfectly okay with not having the spotlight on him doing while more complex moves.
I'm hoping your daughter has seen the video for That That by Psy? He's dancing ass of in that one. I'm sure she'd enjoy it if she hasn't.
