I picked up one of these before I saw any vids on em, just cuz it looked like a great lil cheap knife, I love my benchmade s, but it’s nice to have a reliable, axis knife that is just as fun to flick open and closed and I don’t care if it gets messed up. They are great knives for the price and I’m glad that I wasn’t crazy or alone on thinking that!
I got one as soon as I possibly could. They're great little novelties. I'm a little shocked we aren't flooded with guys showing off dyed scales yet given how it went with the orange one.
I think its cool but i ended up getting 3 orange ozark trail knives on ebay, they have a new version with dual side pocket clip. Your video with the 8 hour cardboard slayer says it all, its a fantastic value and significantly cheaper than getting a benchmade.
If you pay less than $30 for a knife, expect that you will have to sharpen it. At $5 I would've been surprised if it could cut cheese. This is low quality steel, no doubt. Even sheet metal can be sharpened to a usable degree, so this knife will work. Just don't expect good edge retention, at all.
Wonder if the new D2 orange batch that was recently available with the dual sided pocket clip options has any other major differences? Other than the handles feeling a little rougher and brighter.
I haven’t had any issues with mine so far. I am about to put a 20° edge on it with the guided field sharpener. It’s been working really good on my orange one so gonna watch some football and sharpen all my knives up haha.
I really like my orange one and my white one. Glad I have multiples of both of them. I recognize value when I see it and these knives so knife stuff better than they should for what they cost. I'd never buy Jordans and I'd never buy a Bugout. That's just wasted cash, as far as I'm concerned.
I just picked one up a few days ago. The gimping on the flipper tab needs a little work cause it really started to hurt your finger after a little fidgeting, but other than that, it is excellent. Everything is so well done on it. If they could have done it with 14c28n instead of D2, it would have been the perfect knife, but that is a minor qualm, because I really like D2 as well.

Flint would be proud of your knife sharpening abilities 😀

Oh, that orange one is definitely an anomaly. I hope you didn't overpay for them.
@@HumanTimeMachine Walmart rereleased a new batch of them online when they added to stormtrooper for sale online.
I got 3 for price id paid or one Civivi knife. It's still a great value
Good test. I just redid the edge on mine and took my time. It’s cutting better now than it ever has.
Oh, I bet. These cheap guys usually want a new edge pretty badly right out of the box.

No clue. I haven't seen one for myself yet.

NICE. I'm gonna be at work all night.
I can't find this one at any of my 3 local stores. I keep checking though. Fortunately there's a store really close to my work.
Check online. Have it delivered to your store. They're showing up on the website for me right now.

I've said it before, I hope these things start a trend toward burner knives this good becoming more and more readily available.
It's not good or bad. It's adequate IMO
That's fair
Has anyone seen the Civivi $25 kit at Wally World?
I gotta do my rounds again. I know they exist, but no luck yet here
Yup its a liner lock but looks nice.

@@knivesiguess same here!
@@Cloudstrife112233 I like D2. I bet they chose that as 14c28n costs a bit more
